Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
by

Another FUD that I've heard today though this has been posted days ago.

Many crypto players have gone bankrupt? that's nut then show us those people who have gone bankrupt by investing to cryptocurrencies. The story looks one sided and you're looking at the side that's not really existing. Many crypto investors became rich and that's the real story.

May be its because of previous huge drop of bitcoin where most of the investors are focusing their investment capital in bitcoin alone because they are hoping for a bitcoin to reached $50000 but sad to say that it accidentally drops to $7000 from a previous price high of almost $20000.

Re: Why KYC is important?
by

A lot of ICOs are facing a problem from their investors due to the KYC. Voluntarily complying with KYC regulations provides many advantages to the Offeror and its investors, even if they are not currently explicitly mandated to enact such a process.

1. Cryptocurrency exchanges are beginning to exclude cryptocurrencies that did not properly implement KYC processes. Thus, not running such checks poses a long-term risk to a project. The Financial Times reported that New York Stock Exchange-backed GDAX says it “plans to list only a fraction of the hundreds of new digital coins that have been invented this year”

2. Voluntary KYC compliance may help ICOs reach a larger global audience and expand the number of jurisdictions in which they can take place. Such compliance allows easier reach to investors in America, Britain, Canada and elsewhere.

There are other restrictions also imposed from SECs and banks which greatly limit the activity of the company in the future.

We know not everyone is happy about KYC and some people don’t agree with it ideologically, especially when it comes to cryptocurrencies, where transfers are anonymous, or at least pseudo-anonymous.

However, for the adoption to seamlessly occur, the company holding the ICO needs to have KYC, which otherwise will create issues for the company in the long run, which is bad for both the investors and the holder of the company.

KYC is not done by a company to know where their money comes from. To be honest, a company rolling out its ICO cares about the cash inflow and not about their identity. It is a means of due diligence so that they are not prosecuted by their country of operation.

I think hold bitcoin until it reach its new peak. I believe that it will take long time again to regain the bitcoin’s new peak. So you must sell all your assets when the bitcoin finally reach a new peak value.

Yes bitcoin is ideal for long term hold due to its volatile prices and sometimes huge fluctuation will happen, Bitcoin also known as popular and profitable way of investing cryptocurrency.

Re: One currency to rule them all?
by
rye18
on 26/07/2018, 13:20:23 UTC
It's not that one currency can rule all. It's like a government or a system. As I'm saying it is like a government in which the president is only the ruler. It needs officials such as vice president and secretaries to work. Just like bitcoin, it cannot run by bitcoin itself. It needs altcoins.
I agree and maybe bitcoin is the supreme to rule over all altcoins but still bitcoin need altcoins to make the cryptocurrency market run smoothly and become progressive.

Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response
Altcoin that you can hold for long term are ethereum, neo, eos and litecoin because they have very good and promising potentials on hold. They price would have risen very high by the time you decide to sell and you can earn reasonable reward.

Even me, if i have enough capital to invest i prefer to invest also in some profitable cryptocurrency like ethereum, LCS, and LTC because both coins i think can really help people keep away from any financial problems.

Re: Should you invest in Altcoin?
by
rye18
on 24/07/2018, 13:54:21 UTC
Recently, many Cryptocurrencies have been created and the rapidly changing market landscape, all investments in Cryptocurrency can be high risk. Even Bitcoin which is by far the most stable crypto also shows a fluctuating price.

For comparison, though, altcoin prices are more volatile due to low market cap, altcoin markets are particularly vulnerable to price manipulation. Investors who have a large capital called "whale" - often inject large sums of money into coins that have low prices to build sensations and cause the price of the coin to skyrocket. Once the price has increased, he sells their coins on the exchange with huge profits, making many other investors deceived in the process. This method is known as "pump & dump." This can not only hurt greedy traders who do not take the time to analyze their investments, but are often shown to cause altcoins to have short lifespan.

To avoid losing all your investments due to pump & dump, focus long-term investments on coins that you believe have great potential and show good health. Generally, healthy altcoin has a strong community, shows high liquidity, and has a team of developers who proactively improve the source code of the coin. The comprehensive loginitma of CoinGecko metrics analysis statistically analyzes these three important factors and ranks the coins according to the overall strength of the coin.

If you choose to invest in altcoin, it is important to remember some basic principles of investment. Avoid the hype from those distributed by the coin community. Every investor has an agenda, so it's best not to take their word round. Invest only on coins you have previously worked on. It is not wise to invest in something you do not understand. Making an investment based on the wrong information is a sign that you will lose your hard-earned money. Take the time to research the coins you would consider a long-term investment, and research the market situation before you try to become a high-volume short-term trader. Most importantly, never invest more than your ability to take losses. Too many people lose their life savings by focusing them on a volatile investment.

Yes of course, people who want to earn big profit returns of their investment should invest in Altcoins but we should make sure that the altcoins we invest is profitable  because not all altcoins are good to invest.

Re: Short term Trading investment or Bounty campaigns?
by
rye18
on 23/07/2018, 11:12:52 UTC
Actually why can't you do both of it? Bounty campaigns do not need your investments, you can participate in it and also invest your 400$ in some promising altcoin or ICO wich you choose. However If you don't have ehought time for bounty participate you can only invest.

Short term trading investment and bounty campaign are both can be done easily and even in part time but the risky is when investing short term trading especially if mistakenly choose the unprofitable coins.

Many people are waiting for the market recovery to sell their coins but I bet you,as soon as market recovers ,they will feel reluctant to sell.

Yes selling is the most ideal strategy once a bull market will come in order for investors to gain profit that they are waiting for a very long time.

Re: Bitcoin is DEAD
by

on 22/07/2018, 11:50:19 UTC
A couple days ago I posted here because of a transaction stuck in the void for which I paid 30 dollars fee.
Now, one hour ago, I sent a transaction with a 130 dollars fee.
ONE HOUR, STILL ZERO TRANSACTIONS, 130 DOLLARS FEE.
I'm sorry to write this, but Bitcoin is DEAD.
I've been a defender of it up until now, but we've gone too far.
Who the hell is going to buy Bitcoin when the word will spread?
When people will try to get their Bitcoins from the exchanges, they'll meet this reality, and Bitcoin will be dead in DAYS, after the word will begin spreading.
Just please don't go on BCH, let's try to move onto better technologies like Byteball.
BTW can anyone tell me what should I pay to move my Bitcoins now?
I have now 4 Bitcoins stuck in the void.

I think no one among available in the crypto market today that can defeat bitcoin because bitcoin is a very strong coin, In fact this is now slowly recovering  and the market value for now is more than $7000.

I'm not sure if this is true
what are your idea about this?

I don't heard any reports regarding the banning of google in any crypto related advertisements and i think this is another form of manipulated speculation that is trying again to destruct crypto image to people.

I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?

for me, I prefer to invest in bank than in bitcoin because in terms of profitability bitcoin is more interesting and profitable than bank considering that the interest is fixed with the agreed unlike in bitcoin that we can earn as much as possible depencing on the market movement.

personally, Bitcoin will take control of the market even altcoin's market is bigger than bitcoin's market

yes I agree considering that most of the altcoins today are dependent on the movement of bitcoin because since i started to invest in cryptocurrency i observed that once bitcoin market is falling some popular altcoins are falling too.

Re: Bitcoin become an asset
by

on 21/07/2018, 01:54:55 UTC
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

For me, bitcoin is a digital currency with a triple purpose aside from investment, an asset it can be used also as payment on some transactions but the good thing is while being an asset it can be use also as investment and the value keeps on increasing depending on the market movement.

Re: How will crypto go long term?
by
rye18
on 20/07/2018, 15:32:39 UTC
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?

I strongly believe that cryptocurrency investment can survive in digital world because most of the crypto investment are very much profitable if invested in long term.

Hello guys, selling tokens zuflo (zfl), the price of ico was 0.36 dolars per token, my price is 0.15
I have 10 000 tokens

I think the market price is already good enough to sell but if you want to earn more you need to wait for for the market to rise so crypto price will be multiplied by up to 20 times of its current value.

I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?

I still believe that theres a bright future for crypto that is why until now i keep on buying and holding all my crypto hoping that in the near future the market will fully recover.

Re: Digital money or virtual currency?
by
rye18
on 19/07/2018, 04:49:42 UTC
Many countries do not recognize the currency attributes of BTC because they are afraid of the impact of BTC on the financial market!
Bitcoin is the currency that is earned through labor time!
If everyone agrees with Bitcoin's effectiveness like gold, then the world will produce a fairer financial order!

Bitcoin is really a good investment that we can easily earned a good profit compare to stock market exchange this is may be the reason why the government afraid to invest because the people that are living in the country may be affected too..
