I've just received a refund as well. He really is doing his best from what it seems. There will always be speculation as to what happened and what is happening. That's life. What is apparent now are his actions which are forthcoming and outright. It's hard to deal with the cynicism on these forums sometimes which may be why he's just doing business on a case by case basis outside of these forums.

Where are you getting all these addresses from?
Maybe you are getting them from here, either way this is a MAJOR issue:

TradeFortress any comments??

That's correct. He is sleeping apparently. Although coinchat seems to be down. EDIT: I guess coinchat has been down for a few days.

i would advise everyone to get their coins out of Inputs and stop using them, seems like accounts even with strong passwords and 2fa on them are being emptied, seems very much like an inside job. Use them at your own risk

Is there another one reported besides Just-Dice?

So far I think there are five. Addresses 15WQxdwk2skFsz2HZs6RfxFBGf3CNRa4S4 and 1ggknc8N4WSasFYF84HRax5hVHDEpsEHr.

Very impressed with the service. It does, however, seem like someone has the market cornered and is using that power to their advantage. Tread carefully and be sure to have an exit price plotted. Also, keep your eyes on the diff increase.

TL/DR: Be smart. Carelessness leads to coinlessness.

Disclosure: I have shares at cex.io

I started mining world coin and selling some of it at spot about 2 weeks ago. 400%+ more profitable than BTC at the time. Since then WDC has eaten a zero. I'm fairly happy with the results. Will likely sell them to some kid later on.

[ANN] Litecoin Theoretical Value Website
by
rynmln
on 22/09/2013, 22:07:40 UTC
I made this website displaying theoretical values of litecoin based on different ratios in relation to bitcoin. It is tied to the current price of BTC and updates every five minutes or so. It utilizes the current number of mined coins from both chains as well as the theoretical market capitalization resulting therein. Hopefully this will serve to bring some clarity to the Litecoin market.

Some of you will find this a waste of time. Some of you will look at it and go, "humph". Others will hold it up as the holy grail.... or maybe not. Anyway, no need for nasty comments. I just want to contribute to the conversation and community. In reality these numbers dont mean anything any way. It was just a project for me to learn some javascript. They're just here to spark even more discussion and debate... and maybe even some hope.

I know there are all sorts of reasons why prices are what they are, but this website assumes all things are equal and that litecoin is just as useful and prevalent as BTC... which they are currently not. I personally believe that a boost in price is a direct reflection of the hard work put in to make litecoin usable and great.

Also, this is my first project involving javascript... and the calculations are updated via google spreadsheets... so it's a pretty crude way of doing things and not always failsafe, but it works... and without a server.

I think I speak for the majority of us when I say "Thank you, sir" for all your effort, and the promise of things to come. Short of you pulling a disappearing act and all of us playing "where's Waldo", I think at worst we can expect to break even on our returns, and at best give ourselves a communal pat on the back for picking the right horse(s)
 Grin

Thank you very much for the kind words!  Cheesy

I can honestly say I had a good laugh at the "where's waldo" comment- that's literally an inside joke with my friends and I, so thanks for that! I really hope I picked the right horses, my gut feeling is usually on.. so KnC and HashFast better over deliver!  Cool

Yes, you've been great to work with so far. I'm just glad to be getting in the ASIC game. Should be fun. When I saw that invoice I thought, "My wife would never..." So thank you sir.

I will be doing another sweep of MIA shares by end of day- as of now there are 3 shares available in Miner #1 if they do not respond by end of day. None available in Miner #2 and #3.

I will have my shares moved to Miner #1 if that is alright. EDIT, That is, if they become available.

Also,

That assumes the price stays constant, and if BTC-e goes down there is no easy way of maknig your LTC become BTC, etc.

Actually - Vircurex, but as of the current moment, yes.  Pricing keeps changing there and LTC has been more profitable for days.

More like weeks.

Sure i understand that, but my account is missing 118 LTC and i was making like 5 per day [10 with double bug].

My Account
Your Balance: 351.93160384 LTC
Total Earned: 469.22631014 LTC
24h Earnings: 10.1091133 LTC

No withdrawal was made, i was waiting till 500 to withdraw.
Account name SeGram same as here, Please look into this.

It looks to me like he just took a certain % of everyone's unpaid rewards to cover himself, rather than only a % of what was overpaid.

If he doesn't do some sort of correction very soon, his pool is going to be permanently damaged :/

I would certainly say it already is. I kept getting that incorrect address error until I switched pools. I tried withdrawing about 10 times until it worked finally.

Also, SeGram, that's a lot to just have sitting in a pool account IMO. I feel like you may have been less affected by this if you withdrew regularly, but I don't have to tell you that now.

Re: Anyone w/ FPGAs should keep their eye on this
by
rynmln
on 18/01/2013, 05:15:57 UTC
OP here, didn't think there was going to much response to that post after I saw it fall down the page with no response. Anyhow, what you do with your FPGA is your choice. Continuing to mine for whatever you can get might make sense if BTC price continues to rise, but that's pure speculation.

Using it in a different distributed computing project is up to you. I only mentioned SETI@Home because it seems best suited for powerful FPGA processing and that website seems to be working on making it happen with that project first, then other, more complex ones later. Also, Folding@Home uses a lot of floating point processing which FPGAs aren't well suited for and adapting it to an FPGA has been put on the "won't do" list on their wiki somewhere.

It was just a suggestion and I'm glad to see some discussion over it. If you were to stop mining it would be a shame to see them collect dust. So, I proposed some info that could be just one of many solutions. Also, as far as power is concerned, however efficient they are, one could consider lending/renting them to a local institution for their own research or participation in a distributed project they want to help out. You could profit marginally with it that way as well.

Anyway, like I said, just trying to inform so you can make your own informed decision with said information.
