Re: Syria's Internet Traffic Went Dark

its actually hard to determine who might be responsible for cutting off the Internet.  the rebels could have just as much motivation to do so as the gov't.

Not at all the rebels don't have the capability at all nor the motivation why the hell would the rebels want the internet down its the only way to get their message out all other forms are controlled by government.

Re: [poll] Price
by

I'm not sure what to do here, I don't want to see my hard earned bitcoins lose value. I usually don't think about future prices since I usually get rid of my bitcoins quiet quickly but I have quite a few now.

The way I see it if there is less bitcoins being mined the price should increase due to lower supply.
on the other hand won't a lot of miners sell all their savings if the reward halves as mining will no longer be profitable enough for them, they might see it as time to pull out of the whole bitcoin thing. So maybe there will be an initial fall in price followed by an increase in January .

How about a simple "User review" subforum? Each user can create their own thread with their own name and all of the feedback can be in one place.

This is easier than collecting a series of links to show people feedback when they ask for references.

Hey that's a good idea, better than these other retarded comments.

Sorry this happens to you, It's sad to see this happen. Intersango was the perfect exchange for brits and others in the euro zone but it's all been downhill for them and their customers recently.  Would be nice if they recovered.

Offering my "smear-your-competitor" service at 50% of normal cost. Get your competitor tagged up in "Scammer" comments for the Xmas Season!
It won't get spammed we can just have captcha, every area in the forum has potential to get spammed anyway.
If bad comments come up that aren't true and have no evidence mods can remove it and the poster can be punished.

Yeah I really think it would be a useful indication of someones trustworthiness at least better than looking at someones post count. Like for my self I only have like 40 posts but I've probably done more transactions than some people here with 500 posts.
Also I don't think it's that hard to implement.

I'm looking to offer my programming skills in exchange for bitcoins. I have done this before previous topic( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75834.0 )

+I have allot of experience in java. I can also use c# to produce .net applications. I also have a good understanding of php+sql. +If you require the use of another language get in touch with me I may still be able to accept.
+If you need something PM me the details of the task and the time frame(When do you want the project completed?). Pricing can be discussed via PM's.
+I will only accept the request if I know I can complete the project to a high standard within the requested time frame.
+I will keep in touch with you throughout the development process with updates of the progress.

I think it would be a good idea if you can post comments in a user profile. That way when trades are done comments can be left on a profile sort of like feedback on ebay. This will make it easier for users to determine who can be trusted.

$20 a month for a usenet account? That seems a bit high if you ask me.

Yea agreed, its taking me a while to get this done but im hoping to get the service out soon. Does $14 seem okay?

Gaddafi would have been a good candidate. He was attempting it with gold
I'd rather use fiat money than live under a brutal dictator.
