If you are not a millionaire, you should definitely invest in altcoins. Only on them you can earn 100 times more. That is, investing even 1000 dollars, you can coolly change your life. But the main thing is to choose the altcoin that will show such growth. Otherwise, your 1000 dollars will turn into 1 dollar

Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots

Personally, I would say FTX collapse is a blessing in disguise because if not for that, the subject of regulation might perhaps not have surfaced till date. I think regulations is what has been missing all this years hence the reason why some exchanges could just overnight announced that they are bankrupt. Taking the traditional financial institution for example where banks are under regulations from the various central banks, it's hard to hear issue of a bank collapsing with users money because there is a certain amount of deposit to be made to this bodies to ensure customer funds are safe and I think government bodies have realized this hence the reason for many countries now implementing regulations of crypto which is a welcome idea. Although crypto is meant to be decentralized but we cant ignore the importance of cex in ensuring noobs are able to buy crypto because not many have good knowledge of Dex. Am a bit surprised to see that some exchanges are reluctant to be regulated for reasons best known to them. However some exchanges have shown commitments towards been regulated which is a good sign that will give users peace of mind in keeping their assets on such platforms.
Crypto regulations come with both advantages and disadvantages, but given recent events, I believe they are a necessary step. I commend platforms such as Bitget, Binance etc  for their commitment to transparency by publicly disclosing their Proof of Reserves. The former, in particular, offers an additional layer of security through its protection funds, which are currently valued at over $300 million.

But there were also doubts about whether these funds were actually held by them as collateral. In fact, we can never know 100% how things are inside the exchange. Therefore it is better to keep the money in your wallet.

Most importantly, after the last post, it was revealed that he still keeps bitcoins on Tesla's balance sheet. So he's not going to cause a bitcoin collapse.

Too bad we depend on him. Can you imagine, as soon as it is known that he sold bitcoins, the price will go down sharply. That's sad! We need more influential people in the market so that the market doesn't depend on one person.

It's actually very sad that privacy-oriented blockchain is not emerging right now. Everyone is creating a blockchain for the meta universe or artificial intelligence. Everything is done just to raise as much money as possible so the team can make money. We are about to lose this fight for the ability to have privacy. We will all end up using CBDC and the government will be able to block all our accounts at any time and leave us with no money. They will decide what we can spend money on and what we can't.

I've checked another green coins that can be mined and here's what I've found: Dash, Solana, IMPT, TAMA, Cardano.. And it seems like no one even tries it. I've heard about some of them, but Dash was told not to be a good coin already, and most are unknown for me. Are all of them mined without any equipment?

Of all these coins, Solana is the only coin that can show a very big gain. I think that the other coins listed have long been forgotten and we will not see ATH on them

Why would we need shiba to be private when we already have Monero and 0xMonero? What do they offer that is different or better?

They say that competition is healthy... that's how we break limitations, the desire for constant improvements and progress. And it's good to have an alternative, not to rely only on "one thing".

As for the Shiba Inu and the transition to private money, I haven't noticed that there is much talk about it. Maybe it's just marketing testing for now, polling the public and all that. We have been talking about private coins for years, and many think that they are the future, but for now, they are still far from popular in the "real world", people outside of crypto still don't know much about them. Many people outside crypto are still struggling to understand Bitcoin.

Many people still can't understand what bitcoin is and how it works, and instead of learning about it in detail, they buy altcoins they know nothing about. Worst of all, they just trust the first blogger they see and make purchases based on his recommendation.

After the collapse of FTX, many people have realized the importance of their personal wallets or decentralized exchanges (DEX). For sure, I will not keep my assets on centralized exchanges (CEX) and will transfer my assets to my personal wallet. As for the platform you mentioned, I haven't quite grasped whether it's a personal wallet or a DEX?

I'm sure that's not the case. All people have already forgotten about the FTX crash and continue to keep their funds on other CEX. If we look at their reports, there are more than 50 billion dollars stored on binance. Long before FTX there was MtGOX.

Many companies are late to adoption due to their vital connection to the global financial system, which is largely fighting the spread of Bitcoin culture that will eliminate all its influence. It is not easy at all to get rid of a global system in which everyone works and replace it with a system used by a few. I think this is one of the most important reasons that encourages enthusiasts like Elon Musk and others to abandon Bitcoin in favor of other assets because he cannot use it in the market practically.

It is very important to realize that despite the delay in widespread adoption for the reasons we have explained, the degree of adoption that Bitcoin has currently reached is considered very important and very high compared to the time it took. Bitcoin is literally ageless because 10 or 12 years cannot make any currency used on a global scale as Bitcoin is today. Almost no other currency in history has enjoyed such success in such a short time as Bitcoin. This can be considered an amazing achievement. The journey is still long, and the day will certainly come when the use of Bitcoin becomes widespread, since it can no longer be bypassed or ignored.

I agree with everything you wrote! Many people still haven't embraced bitcoin because they are very much tied to traditional financial institutions. This can be seen in all areas. For example - gambling! Many companies still do not accept cryptocurrency. Other companies on the contrary are much more successful because they accept cryptocurrency and the number of their customers is much higher.

I think this indicates that we are entering the final stages of a bear market. The market is now so much in the clutches of the bears that there is complete silence around the cryptocurrency market! And that makes me happy! So we are still 3-4 months away from the start of the bull cycle!
I still wonder how you can be so sure in the fact that the bull market will start in 3-4 months. As I can see now, almost everything is losing positions, except of Bitcoin. So it gives me no certain index at all.

Note, I am not saying that in 3-4 months bitcoin and many altcoins will show 5-10x pump. I am saying that in 3-4 months a bull cycle will start and from that time we will gradually start to grow. Of course it won't be as fast as we would like. We might see a 3-5x pump in many altcoins like we saw at the beginning of the year, but then we will definitely see a small decline then rise again then decline again. Thus we will go from one point to another until the market comes to euphoria.

Its turn of events and fortifying in the market depends not just on posting on various trades. It is likewise critical that the quantity of dynamic diggers stays enormous and keeps on developing. likelihood to arrive at the worth of the crypto coins since many individuals or financial backers of it is up-sides thinking which is really great for the development of the market in crypto world. Purchasing and mining is great to do yet mining depends to the country you live in light of the fact that the number 1 adversary of digger is costly power.

You don't need electricity and you don't need to buy ASICs to mine CRP. It is enough to download Utopia Mining Bot and install it on a VPS server. No need to buy video cards. No need to set up equipment and pay for its repair.

...

There's no reason to leave all of your crypto in an exchange, other than the amount you're willing to trade at the moment. It has always been advised to leave small amounts in an exchange due to hacks and/or other undesired events. It's just that people don't listen, because they want "the easy route". Convenience goes on top of everything else, right? We should expect further "scandals" from CEXs due to the way they're designed.

The question is: Will people continue to trust CEXs with their money? I'd say, yes. At least, we'll have decentralized exchanges (DEXs) at our side. Who knows if someday DEXs get the same level of performance and cost-efficiency as their centralized counterparts? Just my two sats Smiley

If I decide to use some exchange I trust it enough to leave some funds hanging there. Some funds, for some time... never "all in" and never "all the time". If I don't trust it, I will not use it, simple as that. And yes, we will continue to trust CEXs with our money, numbers are clear about that, simply CEX has a lot to offer. Because of that I am ready to close my eyes on security and risk some amount just to take advantage of some stuff. In my case, it's mostly staking.

But I never risked some big amounts on that, for me it's like gambling, I will never risk more than I can afford to lose. But some people are ready to risk literally "all-ins", and that is not smart/wise! In years we saw many exchanges/casinos/cryptoservices falling down just like that, so that old one worked and will work all the time "Never keep all of your eggs in one basket"!

The problem with many people is that they think that if they invest all their money in cryptocurrency they will become rich very soon. But unfortunately the opposite happens and they lose all their money and remain in debt. But this is not the problem of CEX or DEX, it's the problem of people who can't manage their money properly.

Arkham analytics company Arkham is looking for Ilon Musk's BTC wallets.

That's what the news is now!

But in Musk's case it would be much more interesting to know how much DOGE he has than to know how much BTC he has

no sign of shilling coming from elon musk anymore I guess he's focused on building twitter and getting profit from it so no time fooling around with meme coin which
is a good thing since it just means that the amount of meme coin generated everyday will definitely reduced, quite honestly tired seeing all these generic meme coin being created every day.

But I did not say that I buy only new altcoins. On the contrary, I try to build my portfolio from altcoins that can show good growth and are reliable. Besides, you can make a lot of money with this strategy. You just need to wait for growth and not sell too early. For example, those who bought ETH at 80 dollars in 18-19 could get out too early and sell it at 1000-1500 dollars and its price went up to 4800 dollars.
As for me, at first, who knew it will grow like that, and at second, you need to have a very strong nerves and the power of will not to sell everything when it just starts growing. I'm sure there were many people selling Bitcoin when it reached 100$. But no one could even imagine it will stuck on $20k one day Smiley

Holding for very long time is not easy because market is not goings on one side. It has to pass many stages before reaching all time high. There will be very less people who hold from start till now. Many time Market crash comes and as you said , passion is required for holding tight. I lost many opportunities due to lack of passion. I hold some low cap coin for some months but sold in depression and after that some coins rised 10x in just 3 days.

We should have to prepare a selling plane and depends upon everyone thought how much will be enough for me to book profit. when we get desires profit then we should not think about profit like Bitcoin. sometimes one coins gives us very good profit but due to greedy of more benefits we miss opportunity to sell at peak and as a result we sell our coin in loss.

This thread is looking no more active and real discussion about Crypton is missing. Is there anybody who stills mining CRP?

I don't see the point of mining. It is much easier for me to buy coins on the market. It is always more profitable and much faster than spending time on mining.

Guys just keep only those assets in the exchange that you are going to allocate to the transaction. You don't need to hold absolutely all assets. If the amount of your trades is very large, then trade on several exchanges and even if 1 exchange scam, you will still have 50% of your funds on another exchange.

Seeing Doge at $1 is more of a dream than a reality. Yes of course it is possible that there will be a bull market pump and we will see such a price for a short period of time, but then we will see a sharp decline

I don't make such conclusions now. My portfolio is in a bear market right now, many altcoins are dead. But I think many of them will revive when the bulls come in. Maybe CRP will rise in a bull market, or maybe they will show nothing.

Bear market is worst times for crypto, unfortunately most of the project failed and you will see their team completely leave the project, no new update and no social interaction which cause project to be a dead. Only few projects servive in the bear market. now question is how to find these projects so I think we should check the progress of each project, their social interactions, time to time updates , work om the marketing and other factors. Now if we look into Utopia ecosystem project, their team is totally active and they are improving their app both for PC and mobile which is sign of how team believe on long term survival. CRP is still on control and there is not big dumps come in the price, currently trading around 0.4$ which is good price for buying. 0.5$ is possible to be happen soon which is easy 29% profit and for long term 2x-5x is best .

A long bear market is the best thing that can happen for an investor. There is plenty of time to see how projects handle a bear market. There is time to gradually buy altcoins every time they get cheaper.
