[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Biggest opportunity in years accumulating FTC right now..

Is there still ongoing developments in FTC? I am seeing that their market was making some movement in the past month and up until now, reaching at least 4 cents today. At least this old coin is still surviving. I remember collecting free FTC coins from faucets before.

There is a new faucet at ftcfaucet dot tk

I was running Moonlander 2 for a couple of weeks, from internal USB of the laptop and had stable 4.7MHz/s speed at 832 freq.
Now, I got a good quality 2A USB hub. I put the core voltage slightly up and frequency 852. For a couple of hours it gave me speed of 4.9MHz/s and then stopped. I put the voltage back to previous position but now, no matter what frequency I put I get a speed of 3.1-2.4 MHz. Anybody knows how to check if I damaged the device? E.g. is there a way to check number of alive cores?

Thanks!

Put "-D 2>log.txt" at the end of the bat command. Start it up and it will spit out the log.txt file in same directory. In there you will see startup sequence and it checks for number of active cores. Should say 64.

Thank you for reply! It finds 63 cores. So one dead core. But it used to give me stable 4.7 MH and now I can't go higher than 3.5 MH. Could there be another reason?

Testing one Moonlander 2 without touching voltage screws from internal laptop USB 3 and at 832 frequency. Not too bad. On average like 4.7 MHz. Did anybody benchmark speed increase with powered 2A USB and higher freq?http://slakov.com/moonlander.png

Does it affect the mining speed if it's usb2 not usb3?

First altcoin to be mined completely.

Hello everyone. As we all know the last newly generated bitcoin will be at 2140.
Litecoin has 4 times more coins and 4 times faster block time so, I assume, the last will be mined at the same time.
I would like (as a curious example) to see what happens to the price of coin when there are no block rewards anymore, only commission.

My topic is, do you know any valuable PoW coin such that the last block reward is coming soon?

Re: Starters miner for Bitcoin Gold

If you are planning for future mining expansions, you must choose a decent high watts rating PSU and motherboard with more PCIE slots, z270 series or PROBTC boards will do, and also you don't need basically such powerful CPU as you are aiming for GPU mining rigs.

for 1k$ at least you could have 2 GPU's rig on it. exclude the case, you can do open air mining rigs instead.

Thank you for the reply! I think I will not expand in the future, since the main goal is just contribution to the ledger. I choose cased miner to have my apartment a bit neat (my wife is not into open air rigs Smiley))
Indeed the CPU is overkill but that's the lowest option in a customization of the shop I am using. Do you have any advice on components store with delivery to Europe?
