I shouldn't have to set any power usage for my miners. I'm getting power usage from the firmware.

As you can see in the summary, since I'm running asicFW firmware, I have power usage for each board.

As per https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000104685-power-consumption-and-profitability
Quote
Power consumption and profitability

Introduction
Awesome Miner can read and display the current power usage of both nVidia and AMD GPU's, independent of which mining software being used.

ASIC miners in general doesn't have any feature where they can report the power usage and for this reason Awesome Miner cannot display the actual power usage, only manually configured values for power usage together with linear power scaling based on the current hashrate.

It's currently only ASIC miners running the custom firmware AsicFW that can report power usage to Awesome Miner.

It's very nice to have power usage per board.

I'm looking to have an easy way to get the total of all three boards. Though I could do it with a custom progress field.
The actual power usage should be displayed in the Performance column as well, so I think the reason it doesn't show up is that Awesome Miner may not be configured to show the Actual Power usage (instead of the Static values that typically are used for ASIC's).

Please go to the Options dialog, Profitability section, and change the "Power usage mode" to one of the Actual Usage settings.

Yes that fixed it . Thank you very much Patrike !!!

Hi Patrik

It seems that the static method miningHelper.GetPowerUsage() doesn't work ?

I'm running asicFW.io firmware and this is what I get.

is there a way to see the total for each ASIC ?

I only see power for each board but no total for all three boards.

Thank you

Feature request please.

Antminer & Asic , in tools.

Default pools and update firmware. Please give us the option to retry failed miners.

Retry failed would be enough.

Ran into an issue where default pools would not update at all on some miners. Not sure why.

Can you make sure permissions are set to write on /config/bmminer.conf before ? Otherwise chmod it so it writeable ?

Can you please add an option to reset to factory defaults ?

Can you please add an option to clear config file upon firmware update. When you update a firmware into an asic, you have the choice to keep the original config or not.

Thanks a lot !

Hi,

After applying fan fix firmware, awesomeminer doesn't show the temperature anymore for B3 miners.

https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004733393-B3-Firmware-Upgrade-Instructions

Thank you
From what I noticed a few days ago, the latest B3 firmware changed these miners from telling they are "Antminer B3" to only say "Antminer" and I think this is a bug in the firmware.

The latest development version (v.5.0.4) included a adjustment to this, so it should show the correct temperature readings again.

Thank you very much, it did fix the issue.

Hi Patrik,

Even if the mining software is not running on an ASIC and it states disconnected, can you please enable the possibility to restart the asic ? It's done via ssh so it is independent from the mining software.

Thank you very much !
You can use the rules with SSH for this. Please see "Example: Reboot Antminers via a button click":
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/rules.aspx

Works perfectly ! Thank you very much !

For me, DSTM 0.5.8, miner kills itself a few seconds after it launches
Tested on Miningpoolhub

You have the same issue as I was having. View my work around in my previous post.

Bug since I've updated to latest version.

Unexpected exit of mining software. Possible cause: Incorrect configuration

--user s3c70r , even if in the properties I have "Add to workername" checked, it doesn't pass the workername to command line.

We should read --user s3c70r.Rig02

Miningpoolhub doesnt allow connections without a login followed by a workername. ( login.Workername )

I have a s3c70r.Rig01 defined globally in the profit switching section of options to work around the bug.

Please fix ASAP.

Region variable does not get passed... Had to add us-east manually to be able to connect.

https://preview.ibb.co/b6htc6/zcoin.png

Will this be fixed in next release ?

Also, Unspecified Lyra2z doesn't show any income.

I can see the value in online services and in the profit details but no value in the coin column of miners.
