as far as I can see, there are cards already in us, at least radeon with almost normal pricing also nvidia seems expensive, but the prices are going down a little. but soon new gen will be on the market, I'm wondering what it would be with the prices
It depends what do you count as "soon", there are some rumors, that it won't happen anytime nearer end of Q3 or even Q4 of the year, and you shouldn't expect some bargain price either. Nvidia isn't stupid, I'm sure they have a decent finance department and will use current "hype" into their favor. Personally, I'm still active on the market, if I see a decent deal - no hesitation. Today I grabbed 2 gtx 1060s on ebay for 420$, which is really decent.

If you ship from NewEgg to Europe, there are any import taxes?

RX 470 still worth it?

Hey guys, I'm looking to build new mining rig and my friend recently offered me to buy his 3 RX 470 4GB Sapphire Nitro+ cards for quite decent price, about 180$ each. Should I go for it or it is already outdated card, which won't make a ROI for me?
Advice much appreciated, have a good day!

Thanks for quick reply, Vann. That's exactly PSU, which I'm after. Seems like I'm definitely going for it then.
Thanks for your tips Raimy, will definitely go for SSD

Noise level of mining rig

Hey guys, I'm pleased to join 'bitcointalk' community I'm looking forward to build my first mining rig, currently looking at 4x1060s or 4x1070s, but the issue is, that I have quite small flat, so I'm thinking to keep my rig in a living room. My concern is, how loud these mining rigs are, it's quite difficult to determine that watching youtube videos. I don't mind some noise, but don't really want to bother my girlfriend too much with another crazy idea
