Interesting project, it took quite some time to get to the V2 but let's hope now that it gets traction and that the team delivers.

Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - MINEREUM V2 IS LIVE!

What is the actual purpose of this coin?  From what I can see the only benefit comes from a small amount of MNE being mined... which has no other use case than creating more MNE and a gambling app built into the platform that siphons 30% of the ETH back to the "Stake Holders"?  What are the proposed use cases outside of this?  Why is mining MNE going to be a profitable endeavor?  What happens when people stop gambling their ETH? You claim this is the "first self-mining smart contract".. well.. that's all great and wonderful.. but what's the point if the token being mined is useless outside of this gambling platform?  What good comes from creating an illiquid asset with a limited use case that most people currently holding are not able to sell/trade?

if you dont understand what dev is doing with MNE, its that you dont understand what is ethereum project, decentralisation  Cool

I thought this project was already dead as I have not seen any news anymore for a while. Today I noticed it was in the top gainers on cmc. What's the story, any significant milestones achieved or pure coincidence?
Searching 5min on twitter you could see that they publish regular updates. All good!

Re: best unknown coin to mine of 2018?

just seeing what is out there looking for a new coin to mine and hold for awhile that isnt to well know yet
Bitcore recently got added to whattomine front page (TimeTravel10) and it's quite profitable on Nvidia. Also with all the great stuff coming later this year there is a good possibility of great returns.
I would still say it's quite an unknown coin.

Seen this timetravel10 algo too just recently. However whattomine.com displays it weird because although the revenue is higher $2+ compared to ETH at $1+, the profit indicated is lower. Does this mean that the timetravel10 algo is extremely power consuming? or is there just a bug with whattomine?
~ hashrate is around 11-12 MH/sec compared to ~20-21 for ETH with a gtx 1060 6gb

I was looking forward to this project. I liked how it was clear, well presented and transparent but indeed, since Christmas, no updates, except on Telegram.

  • What's the pre-sale amount?
  • What happens if ICO's soft cap isn't reached? (both for project and investors)
  • Do you already have deals in place

I think a big status update is needed. Comm has been insufficient and the project appears dead to most investors.  Embarrassed

Hi!

We've collected 1209 ETH during pre-sale in August.
In case of not reaching soft cap all ICO investments will be refunded and we'll search for a private investors to continue the platform development.
At the moment there is no any bright perspectives to bring enough investment to reach the softcap milestone.

Anyway, the ICO is still a go and we're working hard on delivering the results.

Thank you for getting back, will definitely invest a small amount in the hope that it goes through  Wink

I have a similar question, did you read the whitepapers ?
One is ETH based, the other NEO based.
FYI, Astro fund invested in selfkey... but am still wondering about the other one.

Re: What will happen to the crypto market after five years?
by

In 5 years some of the alts we know today will collapse and new ones will be issued.
The investors will be much more than today because of the volatility of the market and the promising high gains. What is essential to happen is the use of the cryptos in our daily life.
It is mentioned before, and I believe it that the start will be from the unbanked populations of the so-named 3rd world.
I hope that the developer works more the security of the coins. Many lose their money and it is unfair.
Totally agree with that, most coins (out of the 1400 available) will fail. Sometimes probably for the wrong reasons, and shitcoins may also rise for the wrong reasons.
But in 5 years, successful projects will continue to rise because they will be actual projects, and not paper projects like they are now, so invest wisely in projects you believe in and that will have a real impact.

I don't understand if it's me or Kraken, but whatever amount I'm trying to withdraw to another LTC address, I got the "invalid amount" error; whatever trade I'm trying to do (in this case selling some LTC), I got the "insufficient funds" error.
I'm tier 2 verified, so this shouldn't be a problem. Never made any operation except deposit some LTC. Can anyone explain me what I can actually do because I feel kinda stuck.
(I already opened a ticket...but don't really want to wait 5 weeks for an answer... Sad )
