Minecart 3.0

I thing the Fan will be better placed on the other side, and not the GPU exhaust side.

It all depends on if it is sucking or blowing Wink

hehe

OT;  All the plasticy, electrostaticy goodness makes me twitch..

Simple GPU miner with 1x 5850 and 1x 7970.

Pulls 370 watts at the wall with some tweaking of the GPUs.

59C for the 7970 and 68C for the 5850.

850 Mhash/s

P.S. Picture was taken by Potato 2000 Grin

Only 850mh/s? Thats poor imho.
One 7970 can do ~700, one 5850 can ~320 easy

aye, but likely not at 370 watts. If that's a concern anyhows.

Not bad, ssateneth!  According to my lil calculator you are only paying roughly $2.00 per bitcoin mined.

I'm gonna miss these jerry-rig pics once January 2013 arrives.

I would suspect there may be some new, cooler ones. Since there is atleast the probablity that the asics are OC able.

the Led´s in the dummy plugs are not really usefull for everybody. they do the only job to show me if there is a card damaged.
for the reason that it is very cold and drafty in the room and that i´m very sluggardly i decide to install the led´s
because so i can see without open the glass door between the rooms that every card is ok. if there is a card doing not enought hashes i need only restart the miner by remote and to 98% the led will not light if the card is damages after the miner has restart.
I am interested in what kind of contact plugs connected LEDs?!

Mine on Linux, you'll never have to deal with dummy plugs.

But those LEDs look so cool!

Aye, those leds are cool as heck. You could probably also expand on that to wire it to trigger something to reset, etc if power drops to the led.

And windows does not require the dummy plugs any more either with 11.4+. Maybe sooner, but that was the version I first used that did not require them.

I bought a $300 MP. He was very quick to respond to PMs. Loaded the MP for me just as quickly. I would do business again and likely will here again soon.

I'm interested in a $400 MP and will like another $400 and $300 soon after(some time in the next 2-36 hours) if that goes well.

Would be interested in escrow or immediatly after I go to the ATM (10 minutes, verify MP to card, drive and back) I would send.

Whichever works, I am fine with. I move quick in any effect.

Update; Purchased  $300 MP thus far. The deal went quick, smooth and I have cash in hand already from it.

Thank you, DM90

To put it mildly.

Ludicrous. You just couldn't make it up.

Congratulations to SadPanda. He definitively has some fun with those, but it is an exception from general rule that people spend fat $$$$, wait ages and get nothing in return.

Thanks. They can and soem already do run much faster than 5GH.

I would like to point out that I did not pre-order and never would. If it were not for the fact that I knew the person selling their pre-order and knew they needed the cash I would not have purchased. As it turned out, I was very lucky in the ROI on this.

Looking to buy some Avalon chips if I am going to do anything with mining and suggest to anyone else that is the best ROI mining wise atm.

cheers

Got my 2 Jalepenos. Completely random as I bought someone else pre-order like forever ago. Working on getting BFGminer configed to see what it will run them at. BFGminer's author had his unit running at almost 5.5GHs. mmmmmmmmmm

pics here;

In case anyone wants to see pics of these. Here you go.  Also, did anyone else notice Luke-jr was mining on one of these at almost 5.5GHs using BFGminer?

If you could show me the build you have in your Amazon cart I can order it for you for 2.3 BTC (if it's ~$350)

I very well may do that. I am in-between offices atm. When I get to one for more than a few minutes later on, I will draw up a cart again and send it to you. Think I can gift cart and link it but not sure as I have not done it with Amazon in a while.

Can you do it with other amounts as well? I have a few other parts and possibly another build I want to order up some time between today and the next 4 days.

Thanks for your reply

I've been gone from mining for a while so this may be a dumb question.

But does BFGminer not allow for tweaking hash/clock speeds for BFL units yet?

[WTB] Mostly Complete Computer for Home User
by
sadpandatech
on 24/05/2013, 14:40:21 UTC
I am looking for a complete or mostly complete computer build for a client of mine.

My main requirements are as follows;

1.  Must be atleast quad core cpu or apu, 2.8Ghz+  (prefer AMD as it is likely cheaper and I'm a fanboy but that is not a req)
2.  Mobo atleast having USB 3 and Sata 3 connections
3.  preferably 8GB of dual chan but will consider 4GB, 1066Mhz is fine but prefer 1333+
4.  Needs an independent vid card. Consumer grade, but atleast Nvidia 500-600 series or ATI 6xxx-7xxx (something under $100 here, like a GT 610, etc.)
5.  Vid card not needed if using APU/CPU
6.  cheap mouse/keyboard, wireless.
7.  mini wifi usb adapter. one of the lil $7-12 ones. atlast N though.
8.  minimum 500w PSU, (those lil Corsair system builders ones hold up pretty well for home users, as an example. nothing completely generic here please.)
9.  atleast mid tower sized case, nothing too plain but not too fancy either. no Lian Li (fancy) or Sun Co's (plain beige) ;p
10. Don't need monitor.
11. Needs a DVD +-RW burner, sata connection atleast. something cheap.
12. 1TB or larger HDD, sata 3, nothing less than 32mb cache, prefer 64mb.

Would like a bid for parts only shipped/drop shipped to my location in FL
And a bid for assembled with Win7 installed. Don't need key but if you got it cheap, a price for w/without key would be appreicated.

Starting prices;
-Parts only, shipped = $450 or less ( I have very similar build sitting in my Amazon cart for $350)
-Assm w/ or without key = $550 or less

Will work out payment details with any winning bidders. Can pay cash upon receipt or BTC in escrow, seller's choice.

Thanks for your time!

Kind Regards,
 Panda
