The new version is finally ready. You can download PhoenixMiner 5.8a from here:

https://phoenixminer.info/downloads/PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip
https://phoenixminer.info/downloads/PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

Anyboby get paid from cryptosx2 since 2 days ago? It likes not running.

The site is running, but the volume of investment dropped, since MC opened new, pretty much the same game with the only difference that it pays out 1.1 times the input and not twice the input. A lot of potential investors (or rather investments) went there. Some people (that were on the earning side) withdrawn their stake and most likely reinvested them in the new site.

Yes plz remove this limitation now people will withdraw their earnings definitely

But the 20% are then distributed to other investments. so it is a reward for those that don't withdraw and a chance for next investment on the queue to earn some coins.

I am sorry, but I think is better to don't change the rules in the middle of the game.

What sense does it has, when You diverted investors to pretty much the same game with lower payout, and the same principles as the 2x? Isn't that "changing the rules"?
Also with the withdrawal blocked for those on Queue, you locked out those people from investing in your new game. So 2x will most likely die out in a couple of days now. People will either withdraw their money (those who can already started) and the rest has to wait for their turn to get into earning and hope the withdrawal wave will let them earn something.

If this was not aimed for, then please clarify the reason behind creating new game rather than updating the current one.

I have no problem with the small shares as much as I have problem with reposting them several times from one address in like 5 minutes apart. I just don't get it. If I have more, be it as low as 0,005 why on Earth I would deposit it like 5 times 0,001. It's just beyond me. If I had no more than 0,001, then sure, go ahead. I used that with dodge myself at the start, but I just had no more than the bare minimum.

While I'm happy with the new features, I would still urge MC to fix the 10% earning status to either reflect it's not 10% of people or that it is actually 10% of people. New earner is activated with each + - 10th investments on the input and it's not really checking how many inputs there is.
This stretch deposits too thin.

Also it would be sensible to limit the number of earnings to a certain number of shares, and open new earning positions only when there is space for new shares. Be it 1 or 2 shares might be a good target. With combination of the 10% earning rule we would be save that not too many people are stretching the dividends and staying in the row for too long and also paying out usually 1 or 2 big payments at the same time.
Well that is my input. Any discussion is welcomed.

Let me point out I have been paid out 4 times for three of my investments (BTC, LTC, DODGE) and although I understand this is a risky business I did invest again. I have faith in MC as he is very trustworthy person. At least that is my experience with him.

About new games in different chain or other x1.1, x1.5 options in same chain is were there are the main doubts.

I would say keep it all in a main chain. Spliting investors would hurt the game imho.

I think the idea is good.

Especially the ads turned into dividends thing. Even bits will usually help to payout people and investors are checking every now and then the site, so ads would be triggered occasionally.

Well I would suggest fixing one thing. The number of people earning. It's not 10%. Most likely a bug of sorts.
Also it would be fairly more interesting if less positions were earning at any given time, than still opening a new ones. There should be a limit to this, or You will end up opening new positions, lowering income for the previous ones and not really paying anyone. My 2cents.
This would at least speed up the game if nothing else.

The reinvestment is not really helpful at all. It's just a different name for withdrawal button for some of us. You will just exit the Earning queue and get on the last spot of the Open queue. So in effect investor will get nothing, just repost his/her money saving on the transfer fees. There is no other benefit. Most people do reinvest anyway. yes it takes time, but we really don't have problem that are reinvesting.

For investors, I would suggest to invest once all You wish to invest and not put a 2BTC investment there in 4 or more chunks. It serves no real purpose. You just (at this time) open more earning position just by creating more investments than is really needed. Imagine someone putting in 1BTC in 0.1 shares. It will open two positions and then try to distribute 1BTC while it could distribute the same BTC to 2 less people meaning the earning would be faster. Not to mention You spend more on fees.

I think the problem with 'Target' is, that some people tend to put in the funny 100x expecting the return any time soon. While that would be of course very nice, we should be clear, that 100 time 0,001 BTC is 0,1BTC and that is not going to happen, when 0,001 is pretty much the most money people are putting there. (now consider that someone could put 1BTC with 100x return. lol. )

So my 2cents would be to restrict it to max 2x unlimited and anything more would be time restricted like someone already mentioned. Let's say a 3 months. It will either force people to go for 2x which should speed up the reinvestments or people will risk they get out of the game with less like in the other timed games.
Also it might be interesting to put restriction on MAX investment keeping current 100x return and lowering the minimum allowed share to enter. (please note I have no knowledge of transfer fees for all of the supported coins, so lower treshhold might be stupid thing to ask for)
