The website of the project does look professional and offers a clear roadmap. There are a lot of exchanges being developed these days and the real challenge for covex will be to bring in trading volume.

Re: Will ripple recover?
by

XRP is a long way down from its peak and is continuing to fall. Without any positive news from Ripple, the downward trend will continue.  Although it might be a good opportunity to get in at fairly low levels if it falls further as with all other cryptos, it will start rising again in few months if not in days.

Re: Instagram bans ICO and crypto ads

The big guys of the Internet are ganging up to stop the BTC revolution by banning crypto ads. There might also be a hidden political agenda to stop people from moving to crypto investing. Facebook and Instagram are fine, but I hope Twitter takes a different route as the way I see it, twitter is much more popular among crypto community.

There is a broad fall in the crypto market today and all coins are down. This weakness has been around from more than a month and it can go on for some more time. Best thing to do in crypto is not to sell in Panic and look out for bottom fishing when the value is down substantially.

Re: Coins with passive income
by
saif.shaikha
on 01/02/2018, 09:06:23 UTC
I believe it is better to invest in some good coin and wait for it to rise. Any coin that gives passive income vis PoS or some other mechanism is bound to loose value over a period of time as circulating supply grows just like it happens in normal FIAT currencies. Therefore, i would prefer to invest in some good project rather than in the one that generates passive income.

Re: Cardano (ADA) Coin - would you invest?

I am invested in Cardano, it is one of the professionally developed coin and the team publishes regular updates on their website. So it is still under active development and has good scope to rise in future. Though it has been falling from some time now , I am invested in it for a very long term.

Re: Shall I buy BTC?
by
saif.shaikha
on 01/02/2018, 08:32:44 UTC
The value of BTC at the moment is in consistent decline so there is chance that it might still fall further and would provide for better buying opportunities later on. However, as there is no certainty it is better to start investing in small amounts now and increase the investment when it falls further. If BTC starts picking up it will be difficult to find an entry.

Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto?
by
saif.shaikha
on 01/02/2018, 08:29:51 UTC
Ethereum's value has remain stable amidst consistent downward pressure in crypto currencies. So, it does seem to have better value proposition for investors and with so many projects being launched on Ethereum, it will always be in demand. However, on the question of whether it will replace Bitcoin as number 1 crypto, I do not think it will rise to that level. Ethereum's strength is the ecosystem that it provides to projects based on blockchain and if Ethers value rises to the level of BTC, the funds would dry up and so would the projects. So, Ether will always be a second best Crypto though much more credible and usable than BTC.

Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum?
by
saif.shaikha

Apart from Ethereum, I like the IOTA which is offers a different kind of blockchain called Tangle and it does have a real use case of being used in IoT devices for payments. ADA is another promising coin which offers a great blockchain platform, but it will take some time for its true potential to be realized.

Re: What do u use for exchange platform ?
by
saif.shaikha
on 30/01/2018, 13:34:06 UTC
There are so many exchanges available now a days that I have lost count of them. I mostly use Etherdelta as I find it easier and convenient to trade in the Ethereum based tokens. Any token created on Ethereum platform is available for trade by defualt in Etherdelta which is a great thing and one can catch real good projects early before they are officially listed.
Binance is another exchange that offers a lot of good coins if you like to invest.

Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched!
by
saif.shaikha
on 25/01/2018, 09:35:35 UTC
Is there any scope for Litecoin left now, given that its creator has dumped all his holdings. The reasons for selling do not matter as much as the confidence lost in LTC because of this action. I was very hopeful of the Lightening Network proposal which would have boosted value of LTC significantly. LTC had good future but now all seems to have been lost, will the it bounce back in 2018 or die a slow death?

Re: How do I know a bounty program is good?
by
saif.shaikha
on 25/01/2018, 08:47:02 UTC
You can read the whitepaer of the project and understand if the use case or the business idea a project is proposing has any merit  or not. The quality of the white paper and the roadmpa by the team usually gives good estimate about the quality of the project. Additionally one can also look into team profile and involvement of big investors in the project.

Re: Best altcoins to invest this year
by
saif.shaikha
on 25/01/2018, 05:24:54 UTC
I would go for IOTA, with its data market place being tested by several big names. It has fallen more than 50% after the initial hype around data market place, but this has potential to give good results once its market place is live and is adopted by some big name. Though no one can predict what will happen to the value of IOTA from here, I would still keep some investment in IOTA as it does have a real use case.

Re: Bounty or Airdrop?
by
saif.shaikha
on 24/01/2018, 05:19:31 UTC
Airdrop is simple and easier way to earn some free coins, but most of these coins are not worth anything. On the other hand bounties can give you a chance to earn some coins of good projects which can turn out to be huge in future. Though you will have to work diligently for a month or two for completing the tasks of bounty but at the end you would have earned some coins with real value. Having said that, bounty is a choice & commitment and airdrop does not take more than few minutes. So, I sign up for all airdrops (or most of them) and chose the bounty for the projects I like.

by

The crytpo market has stabilized a bit after the bath and is slowly rising. I believe the bouce back is going to be slow and with occasional dip every now and then. Overall the market will depend on what is going to happen in South Korea and China on crypto clamp down. Any negetive news will start a fresh round of selling.

Re: Is 5% daily in crypto trading possible?
by
saif.shaikha
on 20/01/2018, 18:31:50 UTC
Expecting 5% daily return in crypto is too much. It is true that the crypto market is very volatile however it is very difficult to predict the movement of any coin, even if one call goes wrong it can lead to substantial losses. However, if you are good in identifying the entry and exit points you can make good money in the ups and downs of the crypto.

I find MEW is the best Ethereum wallet  and is well supported by the developer. I have been using it from a very long time now and have no complaints. The offline MEW also provides the best security as the private key does not get shared over a network.

Re: What is key buying criteria for you to buy an altcoin?
by
saif.shaikha
on 20/01/2018, 18:02:03 UTC
The most important consideration for me is the use case that an altcoin is supporting. The coin would have a future only if it is backed by a real use case or platform where it can be used. Unless there is a real service behind a coin, it will not give good returns. For example take BNB of binance exchange can be used for payment of transaction fees at discount, this creates value and demand for BNB token.

Re: Ethurum or ripple
by
saif.shaikha

I believe ethereum has much better chance of growing as compared to Ripple. Ethereum platform has much wider scope and with the growth in blockchain technology it is going to increase by leaps and bounds.
