Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018

I suggest everybody, who gets all worked out over such predictions one good book: The Black Swan by Nassim Taleb. It is very educational and it will put predictions such as 1800 by 2018 or 100k by xxxx to the right corner. Bitcoin is the example of the Black Swan and it cannot be predicted.

I'm not too sure how 2018 will look like. It seems like bitcoin is still recuperating from the explosion in the end of 2017.

Who else think BTC is controlled by Illuminati? Saw some intersting articles which poped up in my news feed.

Why would they need BTC when they already control banks and global financial system? It works against them so i would say that their goal would be to destroy it.

Re: A Flood of Bitcoin Forks Coming....4 more here before Jan 2 2018! Sheesh!

Here is a list of upcoming forks:
http://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/2017/12/05/upcoming-bitcoin-forks-2017-2018/

I'm not too sure if this is good thing since at this moment it does not look like any of them is bringing any essential change. It will only confuse the potential investors. I think that the price of the forked coins will determine the frequency of the future forks.

Bitcoin cash is just an example how someone with a lot of cash can influence things. Bcash is basically just an altcoin which does not solve any of the critical issues. Block increase will only postpone the problem and is by no means final solution.

Do not forget that there are hodlers who did not touch their wallet for years and plan to do so, until bitcoin value reaches xxx.

Bitcoin Cash is a test. Test for Bitcoin. I have to agree with the user "European Central Bank" - if a bunch of greedy guys can bring down Bitcoin, one can only imagine what a coordinated attack from governments and central banks could do.

Ok, so if i understood correctly, miners get fees and block reward? Shouldn't the block reward of 12.5 BTC per block be enough?

Well, we can see one alt orchestrated attack on bitcoin in the past period - bcash. They are evidently putting a lot of effort to persuade the people that bitcoin's problems are unsurpassable and that their coin is the right solution. Things will significantly change once the Lightning network gets into operation.

Re: Christmas And BTC?
by

on 21/12/2017, 10:46:50 UTC
Well, Christmas is time for giving and many people will sell their bitcoins in order to buy some gifts, this might influence the value to a certain extent. But i'm not sure that the amount of sold assets in bitcoin will be sufficient to influence the price. So you can expect the drop in price but as it seems it's mostly due to the Bcash and not to the Christmas.

I have never dealt with them but you can take a look here: https://www.bitcoinsuisse.ch/trading-desk/ According to the description on the website, they allow up to 20 million USD/EUR/CHF daily trades so this should cover 40 BTC. Please if you go trough with them, leave here your experience.

Re: Is it possible to earn bitcoins from playing games?
by
salihno71
on 18/12/2017, 15:01:12 UTC
You're asking the wrong question. The correctly formulated question would be: Can i get paid to play games? If you can get paid to play games in USD or Euro, there is a high possibility that you can be paid also in bitcoins. Beta testers are in demand and this should be one way how to earn money trough playing games.

I can see the similar post in 6 months time "let's bring bitcoin back to 20k$". What is gone, is gone. You missed this train and there is no use bashing your head over it. New train is however just passing by. It might not take you to the distances the 6k train would, but you will never know how far can you go from here.

Thats $85+ million that are being donated to good causes, but the media will never report on it, they only report the bad side.

Media seems to be feeding on the negative news. If you look, most of the news are reporting about something bad that has happened. They just spread fear and uncertainty, i'm just not clear why - is it because of the fact that they get better reaction from the audience or is it to keep audience in constant semi-scared mode?

Re: The Richest 1% Now Own More Than 50% of the World’s Wealth

This is just the sad indicator how the world works. On one side you have people dying of hunger and living in utter poverty, and on the other side you have people shitting in the gold plated toilets and spending per day enough to feed several thousands from the first part of sentence on some utter nonsense.
