I was planning on ordering a few for myself but I am going to gauge interest on potential group buys for the Alpha Technologies 25 MH/s Litecoin ASICs.
*snip*
How sure are you that you can manage to get a preorder in quick enough to be delivered in the first batch?
If you can convince me, I'd like to go in with you on at least half a rig.
I hate to point out the obvious here, but it no longer makes sense for Ken to sell machines when Bitcoin is almost $600. He would make far more profit mining with them himself. Not like we would see any of the mined profits anyway, he will find a way to keep them for himself.
Well, since there is a publicly documented statement regarding dividends, if he does that there will be repercussions.
Though I don't think that will be the case.

Ok, I'm getting a bit concerned.
Was burned by Labcoin pretty bad, and now ACTM isn't paying out dividends, the volume of trade on cryptostocks is a joke, and no official word.
Am I mistaken in thinking we are past the deadline that accumulated divs should have been paid out?
Do you guys have an IRC channel somewhere?

Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining)
The only reason it's priced where it is likely due to the inability to set asks and bid prices with more then 4 decimal places on Cryptostocks.
I don't buy into this fully. There are plenty of people that are just stubbornly holding onto their shares - if there weren't we would see plenty more sells at .0002 or .0001.
they're stubborn either because they've given up hope altogether and have written off their losses, or because they know there's an artificial floor propping the price up for them, and as long as they see bids on the book, they know they have someone else to give their bag to when they get really desperate. (The third alternative is they think Sam's going to pull a rabbit out of his hat in the third act.)
Actually, I'm still holding shares because I am getting an amazing dividend percent after buying dirt cheap when some of my ultra-low bids I placed on btct.co got filled at during the panic sell at the end. Seriously, a few more weeks and I'll have my entire purchase cost of 2 btc paid for.

Am I the only one who is amused by the fact that some FUDiot is permanently marking their bad judgment on the Blockchain? And what will said fudster think 5 months from now when Labcoin is making it's investors rich?
Also: Whoever you are, thanks for the extra dividends.

Even if they deliver on time (fat chance), the difficulty is jumping so high that no machine they sell will ever meet ROI barring some sick increase in the value of bitcoin, but still in that case, better to just hold onto bitcoin.

I don't understand you guys.
First you complain that solo mining isn't effective at such low TH rates, and then when Labcoin capitulates and states they will pool mine, you complain that then you can't be sure that they are mining or just depositing to the address.
Could everyone who isn't holding Labcoin shares please go the fuck away.
If you claim 'white knight indignance' and that you are here to 'protect investors', then take your shit up with Burnside.
This forum is so full of stupid it is making my router sick to it's kernel.
