If they only had a pre-ico then it wouldn't be a pre-ico because it would not precede the ICO. Thus the pre-ICO would become the ICO itself.

This is really old news by now. It's inevitable that bitcoin can't really be a viable payment option until the huge volatility is no more. Crashes like the one we're experiencing right now make it very difficult for both buyer and seller to understand exactly the price they're receiving.
Do you think there will be a chance that bitcoin will be recognized by all people around the world? If so, what would you contribute for the success of bitcoin in adapting human culture?
I believe that bitcoin is already gaining recognition around the world. However I don't feel as though it will reach a state where it is adopted by the majority of the world for quite some time, or in fact ever. Recognition and adoption are very different. Bitcoins success can be attributed to its revolutionary design and nature.

Re: 2017 was 4th best year for Bitcoin after 2010, 2013 and 2011.
The year we had was quite amazing but I fear it could be an outlier, although I like many would probably be happy if we can even have a year similar to that of 2012 or 2016 with around a 100% growth in bitcoin price.

How much is bitcoin estimated to be worth in 100 days?
There is no universal estimation, just peoples predictions, I would guess somewhere around about 18k, bitcoin last year doubled in price about every 100 days so by that logic you'd guess just over 20k but I think growth will slow this coming year.

I expect to see bitcoin passing 50k within 3 years, hopefully passing 100k. If we look at this year at has done over 7x, if it can do that in the next 3 years instead of just 1 year we will be at 50k!

Re: What is responsable for the decline in Bitcoin and increase in Altcoins
Please can anyone explain to me the reason behind recent decline in bitcoin value and a sudden increase in altcoins to the turn that ethereum in particular move to the height of $325.16 of which it has never reach such a height in the last three weeks. Your ideas are all welcome
There was a fork planned and a lot of money moved in to bitcoin for that reason, when the fork was cancelled they money had to flow somewhere else and a lot moved in to alt coins.

There are a few movies I always watch if I see them on TV - Shawshank redemption, back to the future (1,2,3), the matrix, Armageddon.

I use an Iphone 6s, I've had Iphones for about the last 6 years and probably won't change any time in the future, next will be either the 8 or the x, I'm undecided as of yet. As much as I'm aware that other phones have better specs and are cheaper I cannot stand the UI of any other phones.

If BTC continues the upward trend with the level of volatility we are used to then as you say, more and more people will learn to just hold until we get close to a stage where very few btc are actually traded relative to the total supply. This will only lead to more upward pressure until a price is reached where people are content to dump.

If the current price trends continue then it could be as early as the first few months of 2018, that would be a near 10x in one year.

Bitcoin is almost certainly a bubble to some extent but like most things that bubble, the bubble bursts but given time they rebuild and grow to even higher levels.

I think that any major war between two major countries would have an effect on prices, the extent would depend on the countries. I think the price would suffer but not to a major extent.
