I do not want to beat around with cli to handle my coin because to lose my cons in case of mistakes.

This is exactly what i'm doing, has worked great the last couple of days. Use the 2.02 daemon from the CLI version then launch the 2.01 GUI .

Version 2.0.2 beta release is available for Windows now!
2.0.2 fixes sync issues and adds a new feature to automatically import pre-rebase wallets using intense-wallet-cli. Use the commands
--upgrade-legacy only upgrades the file and exits, while --wallet-file loads the wallet after upgrading.
The new feature and 2.0.2 release will be in open beta for a short while until we bump it to an official release. I expect linux and mac binaries to be available tomorrow. Please DM me on our Discord which is the easiest way to get a hold of me directly, or post on our GitHub issues page with any problems.

Thank you for this! Running this daemon with the 2.0.1 GUI wallet, this is the first time my wallet has fully synced since the algo change.

I had the same problem in the beginning. Rebuild your wallet and raise the transaction fee you pay and the problem will go away. The transaction was never really sent.

New version of the miner for my pool
Some of you requested changes, i made them! New build 3 of the miner available at the same place: http://girino.org/metisminer/
New on this version:
1- option -d now supports more than one device (old syntax, -d 0,1,2,3 etc)
2- option -I for "gpu intensity" (same as -s on ypool miner, but -s was taken by some networking options). USE WITH CARE, values too high might freeze the program, values too low will be rejected by the GPU. Default is "-I 19". I don't recommend values above 25 or bellow 15.
I still have to implement an efficient CPU miner. The default implementation (that comes wth the wallet) is even slower than using opencl on the CPU device. So for those looking for CPU mining, i'll work on it for next week.
