So did the hashrate now permanently drop??

I see it hovering at 2 TH/s which is DOUBLE than Bitcoin Diamond has, and this is AFTER a diff. increase and BEFORE it is listed on an exchange. As you can see, too soon to say this is a "permanent" drop when we've barely started...

From Discord user dadoc:

The fact that we usurped BCD with its large market cap virtually immediately after launch speaks volumes about this project and the longer term likelihood of success

Well, I'm acknowledging that there are tech difficulties but you are saying this is a scam and there won't be exchanges (ever) and the code will be close (forever). Wanna bet?

People are putting money into this buying coins and the code is closed source. Anything could be in it - a line to say that all coins will be sent to another wallet on the 1st January for example.

It's against every principle of crypto for the source code to not be open source once the project is live and trading (whether OTC or on an exchange).

Never suggested that it would always be closed source - the whitepaper says it will be released at block 2016 but until that happens then it is what it is.

I have already replied to you in the Discord channel but here it goes again:

there's a difference on saying something like "hey people, be careful: pool is not functioning and in my experience this type of mining shouldn't be that hard"
to "this a scam because the code is closed and there are no exchanges" (without saying that you know that we should wait until block 2016 to see what happens)

You're spreading half truths to your convenience.

And people putting money is taking advantage of a low price just for speculation, if they would like to be extra sure they should buy in exchanges and after the code is released... risk vs reward.

Would be nice to know what our tokens are worth.

Plenty of OTC trades both in Discord and Telegram, OTC price has increased quite a bit once the mining pool problems we had were ironed out, currently BTR has about 25% of Bitcoin Diamond hashrate after 10 days of mainnet release.

There are newbies selling at about 0.001-0.002 BTC per BTR but most of legit traders are already looking for >0.01 BTC or are waiting for exchange listing and github code released (after 2016 blocks are mined).

Cheers.

Poor quality FUD, probably from Bob1234 in the Discord channel who has being already rebutted but he insist on ignoring the facts:

- Closed source code: false, github will be release after block 2016
- No exchange: mainnet was barely launched 7 days ago and it is not a fork but an airdrop. Forks like Bitcoin Diamond didn't have relevant exchanges at the beginning.
- Barely functioning pool and other tech problems: it is working with its hiccups yes but also devs are fixing it.

Trading channel not even opened yet and only OTC deals are being done by the community.

But yeah, no worries... others will make some money instead  Wink

...so you agree with all the points made then... was that meant to be a rebuttal?  Huh Huh

(and to save anyone from having to trawl through the Discord channel - two people replied to the same criticisms, both resorted to personal attacks once they couldn't argue against the points...)

As a perfect example of how not to launch a new coin this is it...

After 1 year in development the devs have produced:

  • Closed source code to 'make sure there are no bugs' despite the development time and testnet.
  • No exchange.
  • Barely functioning pool.
  • Official pool has 0.6% of the net hash despite the closed source code - who is mining 99.4% of the blocks?
  • x13 algo however people are also apparently able to mine it using timetravel algo.

The coin's only differentiator from any other sh!t/scam coin out there is that it will be 'rare'... I have some 'rare' multicolored dog poop if anyone wants to buy that instead?  Grin
Excellent analysis of the coin - just the facts, which prove that this project is scam. This is a dead coin, which even in the green market will be useless.

WS Updates For 2/7/18

  • Added Electrum 2FA + extended word functionality to the tool. Simply input a valid Electrum seed + the extended word and the tool will function as normal
  • Launching our affiliate program soon, please mail walleting.services@protonmail.com if you would like to be among the first to try it.
  • New coins will be added once we do another much needed back end upgrade to support these obscure forked coins. We are looking at BTP, BPA, and many others. Please leave your suggestions for new coins to add in this thread.

I'd suggest LBTC

Again I want to point out how much I love this service Smiley just a suggestion though: you should implement an "info system" where you can input the seed and the system tells you how much of each fork/coin you've ^_^

Hallo, I submitted yesterday my non-zero balance bitcoin segwit addresses (all my bitcoins are on segwit addresses), but today I saw that you have just added a special space for segwit addresses. Do I have to repeat the submission procedure using the new space?
Thanks

IMPORTANT: For those who signed with a SEGWIT address, please make sure that that address (starting with a “3”) is the one that appears on the signature you saved.
If it starts with a “1”, please go to our https://www.bitcoinrh.org/#get_your_btr and re enter: legacy address, segwit address and saved signature. No need to sign again.

Keep in mind that this was not our mistake. It was a problem with Segwit implementation and Ledger not being able to easily sign with segwit addresses. Our dev team has figured a way to circunvent this problem so that there is no need to move BTC to a legacy address

This is a bit confusing, I signed with a Trezor and nowhere in my signature is my address... if the checker says it was signed can I guess that everything is fine?

Best,
Sanchi.

I have a question about signing with Trezor: as you may know Trezor refreshes your addresses each time so I am not sure how I have multiple BTC addreses with 0 BTC but somehow the Trezor knows that my seed has X amount of BTC even when my used BTC addreses are empty.

When I sign with a fresh address does BTR knows how many BTC I have?

Best,
Sanchi

No. You have to use the web wallet to figure out all your addresses with coins. Also, for txs where you sent money click on it to go to the explorer and you can see your change address. Check all the change addresses to see which ones have coins in them. You must sign each address separately that has coins in it. Signing one address will not link any other address you may have. You can check address balances at blockchain.info. That is what I did until I found all the addresses (regular and change) that added up to my balance. And if you send any coins or get more sent to you before the airdrop you need to register the new addresses (regular and change) also. Almost every time you send most of your coins go into a change address as all outputs must be fully spent when they are used in a tx.

Thanks! I'll check then one by one...

The crowd sale has completed. Thank you for everyone that participated.

Lets not forget that these 20k ETH and 1.1k BTC are now valued much higher. I am not sure whether the dev team decided to take no risk and sell it all for GBP.

If they haven't sold yet, it's a good amount of money for development and marketing.

Not sure about the BTC but they have the full amount of ETH which is now worth: $4,567,345.44

I'm not sharing here the ETH address but the team shared it so everyone at Slack can see and it is legit.

They've now 4.5X more money than when the crowdsale ended Smiley

Thats all ? A photo ? Or reported ?

Does any of you guys know how to wait? Or read?

I must confess that I got lost in all the slack chatter, wasn't the stream at 9 GMT? Is robin having any type of issue?

He's online responding and all. Seems like he's just not ready yet, dunno. He said he will restart the stream once the real thing starts.

I get it but the guy is a clown, if I was part of the ICONOMI team I won't be happy at all...

Doesn't it looks like any crypto exchange outlay?
Is it what taking so long for ICONOMI to built?
How is this different from what we as a traders already do at exchange?

I checked the source code of the ICONOMI team, please take a look:

Cool stuff!

When was the 2nd round of Byteball distribution? Maybe people is trying to supress and buy back in anticipation of a short pump caused by the ICONOMI team announcing new bytes acqusition?
