1)  You can't really "get listed" on Mintpal...if your coin shows high volume, they will add it on their own...you could go the voting route, but that will take tons of BTC and coins that get added to MP via voting usually aren't that successful anyways

2)  Getting media coverage for Britcoin would be HUGE...you should aggressively market Britcoin this way...BC once you have newsworthy video footage, you can spread it around twitter to prove your coin's legitimacy

3)  most country coins were epic failures BC they're massive premines (often 50%)...Britcoin premined 200k coins out of 10M, which is nothing....you can buy 100k Britcoin for 1BTC now, if that helps put it in perspective

4)  getting on the Keiser Report would be huge

5)  aggressively pursue the marketing routes that are free...blog interviews, video interviews, twitter marketing, etc.

6)  have a video of paying for a cup of coffee with Britcoin at a local store...if Britcion becomes as good as cash, it will become massively valuable

7)  I like the Britcoin's tech...secure, proof of stake, low inflation, negligible premine

 do what Vericoin is doing...follow their lead...you don't have to reinvent the wheel

9)  I like Britcoin's branding...Britain - quality - Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Beatles....drunkard Churchill...lol

Final point)  a)  focus on tech improvement  (i.e. do exactly EVERYTHING that Vericoin is doing)
                  b)  focus on aggressive marketing - twitter, YouTube, blogs, Keiser Report, British and other European media...etc.

With so many new coins in crypto, you have to make noise and BE AGGRESSIVE if you want to be noticed!

It crossed my mind to simply "out-cheat the cheaters", but I decided that is WAY below my own Dignity and also stealing from FlipPRO.

Rather than spend my last 2 weeks aggressively cheating like the rest of you, I was researching and investing in MAXcoin.  It certainly paid-off as my MAX portfolio is now almost equivalent to the 120,000 quark prize, and MAX has some massive momentum going right now!

I definitely want to thank Bill Still for getting me involved in cryptocurrencies, but my Quark days are OVER!  This forum has totally turned me off to the Quark community...for all of you who didn't engage in cheating, you're still COMPLICIT as you just sat by silently and didn't call-out the cheaters.

In summary:  FlipPRO you need to get street-wise;  fuck the pathetic cheaters;  complicit participants grow some balls;  and for me - Good Bye Quark community - I'm onto Newer, Better, and More Exciting Things

And of the 45 contestants, I think there are about 3 or 4 really good logos, and I consider mine one of them.  How can my logo be weak since it is literally in the same family as the Facebook and Twitter logo, and those logos are on nearly every webpage in the world!  Notice, I also have symbols representing Quark's 6 hashing functions - something most designers left-out.

Firstly, thank you for bringing some order to this nightmare...

Here's my proposal.  We have 45 designers, and let's say we each get 1 vote.  The problem is we all have an urge to vote for ourselves, which would result in 1 vote for each person.  We need to have several rounds of voting, and no one can vote for themselves until the last round (or last two rounds, for example).

For example:

45 designers total:

1st round:  each designer vote for 5 other designers (can't vote for yourself)
then select the top 10 designers with most votes

2nd round:  each designer (all 45) vote for 3 of the remaining 10 designers.
select the top 5 designers with most votes

3rd round:  each designer (all 45) vote for 2 of the remaining 5.
select top 2 designers.

Final Round:  each designer (all 45) vote for 1 of the remain 2 logos.

I feel it's safest we all just write the names in, so we know there is no cheating.  For example:
round 1...I vote for:
1.  Freddy
2.  Tammy
3.  Sally
4.  Jimmy
5.  Frank

Also, I doubt all 45 designers will vote, so make sure people aren't cheating by creating an account and masquerading as one of the absent designers.  I've noticed a few people on this forum are very talented at creating sock puppets - it's pathetic, really.

Also, no more petitioning, "vote for me".  Each person, look at the google doc and select 5 names, then 3 names, etc.  

This is my general concept, feel free to modify the number of rounds or the number of votes, etc. if you please.

Again, FlipPro, thank you for stepping-in...I was really starting to lose hope in homo-sapiens in general.

You, like me, probably thought this contest was about selecting the best possible logo for the quark brand...this is where you're wrong...this is merely a social media and cheating contest - it has nothing to do with a silly quark logo; you can tell by the quality of the current voting leaders.
