what do you think about Blockchain Miner Pro software?

No need to check this section, this is fine to start in general mining discussion itself. I have used this blockchain pro mining software. It's operate like cloud mining software how minergate or others working but you will be get scammed by them. You itself understand once you get into that. If you are trying in this you are wasting your time.

it works with cpu and not gpu
and it asks for mining fee and not donation and original version works

Re: Bitcoin Fees - $59! Holy shit!
by

It's normal bro.few days ago I also faced this kind of issue.I withdraw from an exchange platform about $500 and the transaction fees were $5+ worth of Bitcoin. I think the miner is now so greedy.they charged us a huge amount of bitcoin for every transaction it's very painful for Bitcoin user.I want to see your transaction TXD, please provide it here.
Bloody miners are ripping off the users of Bitcoin. They way I see it is that it's doomed to fail with these ridiculous fees. Some other altcoin is going to become the major crypto that has no fees or absolutely tiny fees.

THIS.
Bitcoin fees really are ridiculous, I hope that this somehow gets fixed soon.
Paying $2 fees when sending $10-15 payments it's absolute nonsense.
using x**o wallet can hurt you even more.

Re: What is meant by stake in a coin signature campaign
by
sandy rivers
on 27/09/2017, 10:55:09 UTC
it's a system that probably got most attention during the waves signature campaign.
Unlike regular campaigns, in this system, members don't get paid by fixed rates or pay per post rates.
There is a total budget for the campaign (which should be mentioned in the thread somewhere) and users get paid distinct shares of that total budget.
If you have X stakes, your payment would be: (total budget)*(personal stakes/total stakes).
E.g. having 10 stakes in a 5BTC campaign with a total size of 1000 stakes would give you 5BTC*(10/1000)=0.05BTC.

There's no definite answer what is better or worse, it always depends on the individual campaign.
Thanks for the info Lutpin you are being more of a help over here to me with your info on many topics.

many people are talking about mining ,,, I am the first time to get to know mining, and not yet understand what mining is? what is the purpose of mining? and what are the advantages of mining? and how does mining work?
please enlighten ..
mining is a process of extracting crypto currency.
purpose of mining is to get a desired crypto currency such as btc or eth.
you get paid in crypto at the end of the cycle.
you have to join a pool and start mining using miner such as antminer and yu are good to go.

I'm not an investor, I've never invested in any ICO but I'm interested in it.

I've noticed that the success of ICO's depends on the services offered and mainly on the advisors of the Dev Team (e.g. a well-known banker or a Bitcoin/Ethereum Developer). When I read any article about an ICO, I always ask myself 2 questions: why is blockchain needed and what is the added value of blockchain ?

I'm analysing and comparing ICO's using websites such as:
https://icobazaar.com/
https://wavesplatform.com/

About lending and borrowing crypto-currencies, Poloniex offers this service (and automation tools exists) but I've never used it: https://www.poloniex.com/lending#BTC
thanks for the total outlook been looking for a while for stuff like this.

Re: Current BTC fast transaction minimum fee?

Alternatively you can use: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
Alternatively you can use: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Can someone enlighten me? Can someone explain it.

What are thos link I clicked it all I see is charts and rates of Bitcoins and Satoshi.

Please and thank you for a helpful and understandable answers for noob like me.

If you open that page, you'll see that at the time of writing, the mempool contains
~10k unconfirmed transactions with a fee between 0 and 20 sat/byte
~8k unconfirmed transactions with a fee between 21 and 40 sat/byte
~1k unconfirmed transactions with a fee between 41 and 60 sat/byte
...

Since a block contains ~2000 transactions, your fee should be high enough to put you in the top 2000 transactions, that way you have a decent chance of getting your tx into the next block.

The graph also shows you the estimated waiting time for a 95% chance of getting into the next x blocks with any given transaction fee. For example, at the time of writing, adding a 20 sat/byte fee will give you a 95% chance of getting your transaction confirmed within 840 minutes.

Under the graph, there is a text that currently reads:
Quote
Which fee should I use?

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 180 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.

So, basically, if you add a fee of 180 sat/byte, you should be fine.

good to know about this. Thanks for the info.

Is there any certain form to find campaign for brand new member ?

You have to look for regularly in the service board, as there are very few campaigns allowing brand new members.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
The good news is that you can be junior member in almost no time.
Alternatively you can look for in the Altcoins Bounty board but they don't pay in Bitcoins, but altcoins:

Re: Buying Bitcoin Noob question!!
by
sandy rivers
on 27/09/2017, 03:45:45 UTC
Amount of coins in your wallet will not change (if you don't send/receive coins) but the value of the coins in usd is constantly changing. So what you see is the current value. My guess is that this transaction was so expensive because it was bank transfer which is costly by default.
so my question is what is the most economical way to buy bitcoin as i came to know  from the above post that bank transfer is a costly one.

Re: Putting my bitcoin address at my signature won't get me banned right..?
by
sandy rivers
on 27/09/2017, 03:37:38 UTC
What the Subject says ^^.

That shouldn't be a problem at all. A lot of people do that in case someone else wants to tip them for good advice. If you hang around long enough and add good information to this forum, you may get small tips from other people on the forum.

However, if you ever join a signature campaign, you will probably need to use the signature space for that campaign only.
good to know about this .Thanks for the info.

Re: So the China Bitcoin ban is because NORTH KOREA
by
sandy rivers
on 27/09/2017, 03:00:23 UTC
I do not believe in this issue, I think china banned bitcoin because the worries of bitcoin users are increasing and can threaten the Chinese economy because the government can not control bitcoin.
I even thought the same but the reason china banning bitcoin is because they are in process of creating a crypto currency that is centrally organised by the government.
