Hope this pool can update its interfaces and stats at some point, depending on the port your hashing on stats are not displayed for 4334 and is for 3333 among the other ports also doing the same. Not able to set static diff, could use some TLC on updates.

Not a chance. You want fancy shit interfaces, look elsewhere. This pool is in its dying stages and the last thing on earth I'm going to do is do an expensive fancy shit interface update for absolutely fucking nothing. The last 250+ block solvers didn't seem to care.

Yeah it is hard to rent 0.1 btc of hash since that is about two weeks of profit for me.

And the odds are more then 120 to 1.   So 750 to 800 spent on a 120 to one shot is a move.

Oh wow, so $800 buys me a 1 in 120 chance to win $100,000? That's a lot better than any 'little lotto'

haha tempted to try this tonight. But the last time I tried to rent a rig at nicehash it told me the solock diff wasn't compatible and wouldn't run.
you used the wrong address I will find a link for you.

Hi everyone! Is it normal for my speeds to fluctuate between 700Gh/s and 1Th/s constantly? I feel like no matter what settings I use, this is what it always does. Could the issue be my pi? I'm hesitant to setup another computer to run this, but if this isn't normal I'll just use an old laptop or something. Thanks!

This here would be your best source for finding a hosting facility - Crypto Mining H/W Hosting Directory & Reputation

The S9's have had life brought back to them for the time being. They have a LP firmware available so if you bought these relatively cheap you might be able to become profitable. The problem with going this route at this time is shipping costs and potentially setup costs. This might negate the chance of profits because the S9 is already borderline for profits. Not sure what your power costs are at home but I would personally get these set up an mining today. Whether you want to solo it for a lottery or go with a pool and accumulate some guaranteed rewards; you have some research and decisions to make. You may want to check around the mining boards for more advice if you plan to keep them at home. Another bonus is in the winter you can run them at home to assist with the heating if you keep them on hand.

Here's some general reference than some more specific S9 related threads.
First time/Small miner reference for getting started.
main S9 thread
What to do with all the old s-9s. This is geared to making them a space heater - but by ignoring some of the mods and running 1 or 2 boards you can make the S9's work for your basement.

Thanks for this! I will check out your helpful links tomorrow!

Thanks for the informative replies! I guess right now our issue is we have a couple S9's that we want to use in a solo lottery pool. We'll probably just run the one. We're looking at running them from our basement but a colo would be best I feel. If there aren't colo's that do just 1 or 2 devices, then I guess we'll continue to look at the basement idea.

Hosting a single S9 economically?

Hi Everyone!

Can someone please recommend a host for a S9 that isn't too expensive. The few hosts I've talked to have pretty big minimums like 25 to 50 units. I'm just looking for a colo that can take one, maybe two, S9's. Thanks!

Hi everyone!

Would someone please post what speeds and settings they used to get 1TH/s on the r606?

Also if I was to buy a second one, could my rasberry pi run two or more r606s or would I have to get another pi?

Thanks!

okay added you

if you win I need an address to ship it to and proof you purchased an r606

Yep, its on backorder! I didn't get the one with a PS but I might have an old PC PS somewhere. I'm thinking a little brick one might be tidier, is there a third party one on amazon you can recommend?
