Looks like all of the blockadz are down since I have the default ad up for all of the spots on my blog. Hope the admin is ok since today is the big payday :p.  Grin Grin

edit: Also getting a error 500 whenever I try to buy ads so the ad servers could be the main issue.

Not quite Heaven but a pleasantly warm well-lit purgatory. Still a few kinks here and there and there is a wall of technical knowledge between us and the general public. Yes its way smaller now since bitcoin is the easiest it has ever been to acquire via bank accounts and debit cards but we still need more reasons to use it outside of enthusiasts brute forcing it the hard way. Long story short big steps forward since inception but still a while to go.

Congratulations on reaching beta status! Took a break from playing but since you have quite a few changes added I decided to test some of them out.

Jobs are a bit rough not sure if I am in a bad cluster of systems or not but they all require me to travel across the whole galaxy to extremely dangerous locations. Not exactly easy for the reward amount but it seems close to impossible to complete some of them without a ton of upgrades which cost a ton compared to the rewards. Possible end game I'm sure but the grind to get there looks meh.

The ui improvements are nice and the tutorial helps a ton especially when starting fresh.

Currently can't do much but mine, refine and run from pirates which isn't too bad. And at the moment copper is plentiful with some rare spikes of some higher ores which puts me at roughly 100 satoshi per 5 min mining run with 2 lasers depending on the system if I get all copper. Its not terrible but everything feels so terribly expensive.

Just a few thoughts using the account I had from alpha.

Re: Ore-Mine.org: 45% OFF All Mines Purchased! Only this week. 2092.36+ BTC paid,

I'm still a little bit skeptical. Can someone link me to a more reputable member who has a high-level mine so that I can be reassured? It's just a little suspicious to see a lot of newbie accounts praising Ore-Mine and then not posting on the forum again.

Feels a little... strange.

Hey its good to be skeptical when it comes to investing in anything especially anything that graces this section of the forums. If you have time you could read through the thread starting from the beginning to see where the site has been and the future plans of the owner Sector. It's a pretty interesting read and it was nice to look at all the feedback and everyone's thoughts about ore-mine during bitcoin's highs and lows throughout the site's history.

Of course if you just want to scan through the thread you can just look at Sector's post history and check out the pages around each post. And to answer your question I don't recall reading too much about those with higher tiered mines but I'll search for any posts because I too am curious.

Coinracket,Faucetnetwork,Bitcoinsheep,bitcoincanada,rtube,timsfaucet
Either turn out to be always empty or suffering technical problems...
Don't think there faucets will come back they are always empty. Also faucets with unreadable captchas(skipped few still unreadable) can be removed. Some Faucets got also almost always safety limit reached.

Yea I just came to the thread to report those ones specifically because they aren't a part of the rotator and avoid the built in report function. Other than that the rotator is quite enjoyable and the few satoshis I get from the referrals so far have made it worth it.

Re: Ore-Mine.org: 1912+ BTC paid. 100% Real income! Mining in the form of the game
by
sarcasticviper
on 29/12/2015, 20:11:19 UTC
Not really. If they don't actually invest in mining then there is no actual profit being generated. They could be just paying from other users funds. The problem with that model is that it will collapse eventually.

As far as I know from casually reading most of the thread, he stopped investing heavily into mining hardware and worked on profits from a trading bot and other site stuff seen below.

I told that a long time ago. We are doing profit from using a users money for our BOT trading, some mining contracts (To be honest: the contracts are old, we do not rent any new hardware now!), from our ads and from our Lands game.
As far as we cannot provide an income for unlimited investments, I even will not try to discuss that it is not a ponzi. I am sure that all mines will be sold.
I am working on increasing a possibility for new investments. I think that we will add some new mines in 2016, but, I am afraid, it will not be so much new mines.
Anyway, I hope that all, who are really interested in buying will have a time to purchase mines while they are available.
+ Litecoin will be accepted soon.

Re: Best way to get BTC easily
by

Well easy does not mean super profitable but the easiest is to get started with joining a couple of faucets and build up from there. check out the micro earnings forum here for a list of the newer ones and discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0 .

I also recommend taking a look at the faucet rotator below since it introduces you to a good amount of faucets. It also shares your referral link randomly to new users each time they sign up to a site on the rotator. Again it wont make you rich but its a welcome boost to whatever satoshi you may make on your own.

Good luck with earning!

Came to this forum mostly to learn about bitcoin and current things going on across the cryptocurrencies. I stayed for the typical forum drama reading and heck its pretty entertaining just reading through an active forum every day.

Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today?

Earned a few thousand satoshi visiting my favorite faucets and poking around in a rotator. Its nothing too fancy but tis my daily routine to hit the higher paying ones once a day and go to rotators to get more if I'm truly in the mood. Overall its not much but its a fun concept to get bitcoin for a few clicks here and there. I also throw a portion of my faucet dust on gambling sites to see where it goes mostly because its money I can lose and get back fairly quickly.

As the saying goes only invest what you can afford to lose :p. Currently only throwing some spare faucet change at it seeing where it goes but so far so good. Its like a prettier version of oremine but without the monthly interest.

Re: What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin?
by
sarcasticviper
on 07/12/2015, 05:15:22 UTC
I heard about it roughly 3 years ago in 2012 during the first year my gaming pc was born. I was learning about the world of pc hardware and the various things done with graphics cards after hours when they are idle. I got into spending my extra gpu power on Folding@Home which was a big thing on the pc forum I was frequenting and we had a team/giveaways every month for people that supported the cause. Then there was a bitcoin section added and for all intensive purposes it overlapped with the F@H section since there were similar rigs for both (couple graphics cards, motherboard, psu and tons of fans).

I took a few glances at it and read up on what information was available which was pretty vague other than download some client and spend resources on hopefully getting some virtual coins. In my off time I did download the client and get it running to the point of it catching up to the current blockchain. From there I cant remember if I did mine or not but if I did it was using the miner on the client. It was all confusing and I put the whole bitcoin thing on the backburner til 2013ish.

I think Bitcoin was around $140 ish and I do remember debating on whether or not to buy some, mostly because I loved looking at the btc/usd charts and all of the information and news was flowing nicely. I started visiting a few faucets every now and then and messed around watching it hit $1000+. Around November that year I created this account here and lurked reading everything not really feeling the need to post but checking on things regularly.

A month later Dogecoin came out and I learned about the altcoins and how to actually mine. Getting in early I did manage to earn a nice amount of dogecoins each day but I didn't really have much value behind them and it was a nice fun project to mine for at night. After that get really into cryptocurrency stuff, mined a bit, bought a bit, lost a lot, learned a lot, and had fun every moment of it!

Fastest way is buying bitcoin with whatever currency you have. Now if you are looking to start from scratch with no investment, faucets will get you some small amounts of bitcoin to get you started but as you said its really only a few cents here and there which makes it a long process. Truth is there are no fast and easy methods. Everyone you see with tons of bitcoin either bought it with cash, have a bitcoin business, trade, or somehow got extremely lucky gambling which is something that is not recommended.

One thing to realize is bitcoin is just another currency and not magical internet dollars. Signature campaigns are your best bet of making some coin that's above what you would get in faucets and is easy. Hang around the forums and explore and post. Eventually your account will become mature and you can apply for the better signature campaigns out there. Its a long process but definitely not a get rich quick scheme.

Really love the site so far and I wish I found out about it sooner. It took awhile to get the hang of it but I learned about the mine thing and the interest on your current balance by lurking deep into this thread. My only suggestion would be to have a general FAQ page to the site for new members/referrals just in case they get lost.

There is a bug with adblock. When I turn it off the site tells me its on and gives me the "You will be banned eventually" page but when its on I never see the adblock page.

Hello, sarcasticviper

Thanks for your report! That sounds weird. Could you please tell me more? Which adblock software are you using? Also, does it help if you turn it off and then re-login?

As a side note, we're constantly resetting adblock-related automated bans, and one of the users who posted on this thread earlier is the worst offender >Smiley If you're falling victim to wrong adblocking accusations, please reach out to us. We also see that many players are having no troubles at all, which is nice.

Just using AdBlock Plus on Firefox and so far re-logging has no change
