Post about it where your user-base (people that care about their privacy) may be.

Places like:
https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/
https://www.reddit.com/r/privacytoolsIO/
The forum' Service Announcement (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0) board (people also appreciate their privacy here).

If it's a product, you may also see if it's a good idea to create a signature campaign here (depends a lot).
If it's also related to Bitcoin, post on /r/Bitcoin or /r/CryptoCurrencies (if related to any other crypto, or all of them in general).

Just some ideas I could think off.

Thanks buddy, Reddit is definitely in my list. The Service Announcement, however, looks very troubled.

It will help if you can give us some more details or possibly a sneak preview of what it is all about. Is this connected to email or file encryption or something to do with web wallets and your browser? Is this related to Crypto currencies or privacy in general for other things that you do online?

When you first want to introduce this here on this forum, you should post it here --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0 and you can also register here --> http://trustsdiscussionforum.co.uk/privacy for more discussion.

It's an Encrypted chat application.
And the website you mentioned is about ?!

At first you have to make something really great to make whole process easier and see for example how Tor was promoted in past. As it was stated already, reddit is a great place for that because you'll find a lot of people there on privacy related subreddits. On another hand you can also introduce your project on hacking related forums. If your product is really great and beneficial for people looking privacy, this makes whole process a lot easier because they'll promote it themselves.

Your last words are actually what i rely on, as the idea is really unique. I only hope it would reach them(people).

Based on my experience that I was in a project of a privacy cryptocurrency whose vision was very high, they applied one of the great strategies, forming a community, a large community through a forum only of the project where an Airdrop is distributed, where You can choose the best ones to make publications on social networks, but as long as you pay on time and do not recognize your effort.

The project was in a very good way, but it fell because they exploited their workers and did not pay them, inside the forum they treated the investors badly, they did not accept criticism and what led them to the total failure was never to have listed their currency in an exchange of level 1.

If you comply with what they failed, believe me that success will be guaranteed. It is also a good time since we are starting a great stage of the market, at any time you can take the bullish trend as it was in 2017-2018, you have the conditions in your favor.

Thanks for sharing, even though the project is not related to cryptocurrency but this was a great piece of advice. And i will defiantly take criticism as the project will be open-source.

Hello Everyone,

I am in the middle of a project related to "privacy" and I wanna know how to promote it!

The project might be available in a month, and i'm sure anyone interested in these fields (security/cryptography/internet-freedom/privacy/free-software/etc..) will very much appreciate it.

So, any ideas on how to promote it?

Re: What BTC Payment Processor to Implement in My Site ?

Have you heard about BTCpay server? This is one of the alternatives that I currently used for now it seems fine and they also support lightning network.

Here is the official website https://btcpayserver.org/

You can also check this list of a self-hosted and hosted payment processor with info from here https://github.com/alexk111/awesome-bitcoin-payment-processors

I've seen  BTCpay server but its a bit complicated to me to go into the process of deployment.

I've already seen the Github repo and only choose three processors to go with ( Blockonomics, Savvy, Payscrypt ) as they are the only ones in the list that won't ask for documents and the latter two are not working. So, that only leaves me with "Blockonomics".

so how did you deployed BTCPay Server and can you explain to me what is https://docs.btcpayserver.org/deployment/thirdpartyhosting ?

What BTC Payment Processor to Implement in My Site ?

Hello everyone,

I am selling a service on my website (subscription) that costs 5$, and I want to add a crypto payment processor, Mainly (BTC-LTC-ETH).

the problem is that I've seen a lot of payment processors and most of them I don't guarantee or either has AML/KYC crap.

I am currently choosing between "blockonomics" or "mycelium gear", do you recommend any of them?

Now I need to know what you guys would suggest I would use/do in this case?

If it helps, my application is in node.js.

Some people will never learn the meaning of privacy. And it is people like these who are the ones who go running around and spread misconception.
What did the OP expect to hear back in retaliation? If he was in front of me and told me the same thing about childporn I would have beaten him to a pulp.

oh, tough keyboard warrior.

Offer redacted. OP wanted a much more complex animation that would not have been possible to do within 24 hours. I estimated the value of the video he wanted to create at around $300 for a week-long work. And when I wanted to put my branding/logo on one corner of the video OP didn't come to an agreement.

1- I agreed for him to put a website.
2- I agreed to pay him 5$ for 7 seconds as what I was going to pay. or a 1$ for 1 second if he wanted that.
3- I told him I could give you a 1000$ if the campaign went good, he also refused.

He refused all that and wanted to put this at the bottom of the video.

"Video made by : Legendster"
"Short URL to my SERVICE ANN"
"Logo"

I disagreed because its too much, he refused to put his website and said: "If I put my website I would be exposed."

I responded with "exposed for what, are you offering children porn !"

then he blocked me!

Can't the person simply repay the paypal loan, get his BTC back, then contact paypal and have the payment reversed?

why not the opposite? i give him btc and he reverses the payment?

You can use bitcoin as collateral in this case. Until you pay back the paypal, maybe the value will rise.

What I'm curious about is what will happen if the value rises ? would the lender get his 100$ and give me the rest?
and how long may he keep the collateral with him?

Looking for a 100$ loan
by
sasatefa2009
on 05/12/2018, 15:50:34 UTC
Greetings everyone,

I'm looking for a 100$ PayPal loan.

Collateral:
1- I bought 700$ worthy of btc when bitcoin price was 8200$, now its worthy 350$ (BTC price 4000$), so idk how that could be managed as a collateral with a no loss situation ?!
2- I also have an authentic .edu email from my university, that could be used for many things.

Reason for Loan: To make a motion graphic video for my project. (If any user here would be kind enough to make it and I would pay him as soon I get funds then I won't need the loan.)

Regards,

What's your idea for the gaming and betting site? Is it something unique/hasn't been done before, or just a standard gambling site?

Yes, it's very very unique.
I'm sorry but I will only reveal the idea of the project with the chosen partner.

Looking for a Partner
by
sasatefa2009

Hello Everyone, Hope you are alright today  Smiley

A few months ago I posted about looking for an investor for my project which was a "gambling and betting platform", I found that the amount of money I wanted could not be easily arranged by a sole investor which what I was looking for.

And due to many college studying rubbish that time I postponed my endeavors towards the project. But since I finished my exams I decided to continue again.
I decided to start a campaign on crowdfunding websites such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter to gather funds for my project.

What I achieved till now is only reserving/buying the domain name.

I decided to use an extra hand until I achieve this. I am looking for a partner with a previous business and marketing experience to go all the way with me, to support me and give me consultancy, and to split any expenses if there is any, until the campaign is successfully published.

I am looking for a partner whether from North America or Europe with excellent English skills so we could communicate seamlessly.
Age must not be less than 21.

Kindly pm me in private with your information if you are interested to be my partner.

Kind regards,
