yea I kinda did notice. 2 main reasons I started looking here. Thought bitcoiners are more of the investor type of people. I have gotten far with these types before, so maybe I assumed wrong.

Second reason, I wanted feedback from the community if my model can or will work well for bitcoiners. I did get the response, and they say they'd buy in if it offered btc instead of just fiat. So now I listen and make the amends needed.

I sent you a PM back regarding contact info. Still waiting for a response Smiley
yes I know, and thank you for your feedback.

Give me some time to sort through all the PMs. Will def. get back to each and every1 that gave some input. I'm also on 2 other forums, right this instant, so I'm stretching myself a little bit thin.

Don't panic if you don't here back from me for a day or 2. Smiley

I doubt you will find people to work for your promises. Professional writers, sysadmins and whatever you are looking for want to get paid with money on a based rate, not get a share of a potential revenue.

Don't worry I stopped looking here. I learned from experience that paying for a sub-standard article from someone who isn't even interested in the niche you're promoting won't get you anywhere.

The people who don't see value at this early stage of development are the ones who lose out in the end. You know why? It's the same as bitcoin, if you were an early adopter you are probably travelling around with a yacht to get to places nowadays. If you came in just now, you're probably begging for scraps (I'm not referring to you personally btw).

Just saying in general what happens.
Did you happen to notice that this is a bitcoin forum?  If your project has nothing to do with bitcoin, what did you expect?

coinbase reports for sports betting?

Coinbase reports to the IRS for any amount that accrues over $600. So if you've received more than $600 in BTC to your coinbase account, the IRS already knows about it if you're a US citizen.

If you're a foreigner, it depends on the laws of the countries they're operating in. Coinbase obeys the law and is obligated to obey the law as a real registered company.

Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go?
by

Yeah I see what you are saying.  I think the first step is to simplify the exchange process.  I had to read up on how to buy bitcoins and tbh it was a total pain to get some.  If you could just buy them direct from a bank account in stead of having to wait a week or pay a hefty transfer fee then that would go a long way to better adoption.  That will be the first barrier to cross.  The second will be transaction speed.  The average person does not want to wait so long for a transaction to go through.  They are used to credit cards and instant money.  Third there needs to be some advantage that bitcoins have.  Why would the average person use bitcoins in stead of dollars?  If I get ripped off using my CC then I just call them and have the transaction reversed.  BTC has no such thing.  It needs to have an advantage for the average person and not just us.

You see, what you defined here is what clearly the majority of people feel.

But all of you are wrong on one thing.

The points you highlighted aren't Bitcoins fault.

It's the way fiat works fault.

The companies who sell you BTC and their inability to process your payments quickly enough, or having to verify you, is due to the problems with Fiat money. Paypal also has to verify you (is it BTC money or emoney?)

Once you transition to the world of BTC you start to see how much more control you have and how smooth transactions really are.

Volatility is the major drawback.

Scamming comes a close second, due to it's nature of non-refundability.

But most of you don't  complain about volatility of the US Dollar. The $ has been Euros bitch for almost 6 months to a year now. I don't see anyone complaining if they feel like the $ is too volatile?

Seems interesting, I'm interested in the moderator position, but...

Will be rewarded with a share of total profits.

Does this mean that you will not be paying anything upfront??

Hey, I don't mean to answer for him but this is what he showed me. Can the other guys he's talking to please confirm if they're at this stage of talks with him or not, cause I haven't heard back from him in a day now.

In his pm, he's doing kind of like a pre-interview thing with people to separate the people who are really interested from those who just want a quick buck.

He already built a porn review site which has around 300k subs a month. He showed me on teamviewer. He logged in the admin panel and showed me his writers. They even have pornstars writing for them !! And the porn dvd's they get to review are FREE. Can you imagine that? All 10 of them get free dvds sent to them by the agencies whenever they release something new.

Apparently the way he said he built it was, he got around 10 ppl who are invested in it timewise, and that would be serious about the whole project and treat it as if it is their own and from there it grew really big. They even got some AVN awards from what I researched.

Then he basically split the affiliate profits between the guys and himself. He as the owner, owns the money accounts, but they get paid, when he gets paid.

I think his model really works from what he showed me on Skype and teamviewer. Alone you can't build a site and hope to be successful. You need posters, bragging about it on social media and stuff to generate buzz etc.

Hope this answers your question.

P.S. satnof, can you please update me with at what stage you're in. How many people did you find that qualify? Are we holding some kind of group meating or hangout soon?

UPDATE:

What I can discern from most of the people on this forum, is that most of the people are here to earn something on the side quickly. Also most of the responses I got are from non-native English speakers, who want 5 bucks for an article.

Believe me I can give you your 5 bucks for an article. I just don't want you as a person to have to do anything with my site.

I'm not happy with the situation. I thought there would be more of the investor type here. To answer your question only 3 people have made the cut for me up to now. So we're far from done. I'm using other forums to try to compensate for the shitty people who will never amount to anything that I'm getting here.

Please Asian and African people, I have nothing against you personally, but please stop the ceaseless messaging. It won't get you anywhere.

All I need are people who have reviewed, given constructive input, and are willing to embark on something to grow my site like it was a baby or a small plant. I want people with creative ideas, and who want to dominate that type of market that the site is about.

That's all...over and out.

To the people who made the cut, please give me some more time to find more people. We will hold a group chat when we have all the players. In the meantime please prepare your notes and ideas for a soon-to-be-held online gathering of shareholders.

On reddit I saw a post by a disgruntled girlfriend of the mentor of ross ulbricht. She claimed to be that ross ulbricht wasn't the actual dread pirate roberts for some 9 months until this guy saw the heat coming and gave ross the reigns or smtg like that.

Basically he was given the Emperor Palpatine treatment, where he was set up to take the fall, while the Sith Lord kept in the shadows.

Another troll story...?

Enjoy her confession: http : // np . reddit . com /r/AskReddit/comments/3b0kwl/whats_your_deep_web_story/cshrivc

What does the 'np' stand for ?

This link from one of your previous posts is also very suspicious.

dunno brother just copied and pasted the link. Is it not working for you?

I think np just means it's "not supposed to vote" or smtg like that.

Re: Criminals/thieves/hackers who have been tracked via the blockchain?
by

on 29/06/2015, 02:58:18 UTC
There's a serious issue with Coinbase here. If this is true, we shall boycott this company immediately. I understand that the FBI or other law enforcement agencies can track your acts, or business, but Coinbase shouldn't. I want to point out that when buy drugs with cash, US dollars, nobody sees the Bank of America, nor the Federal Reserve as having been part in your wrongdoing. Coinbase customers should be entirely free to do illegal things with BTC, and Coinbase has no right to prevent its customers from doing so, nor should it track its customers.

Guys and gals who are reading this post, stop and listen to what this dude is telling you. If you use Coinbase, find an alternative. That will teach them to mess with people. The power is in your hands. Opt to use it now.

We can hopefully create an avalanche effect online whenever the situation calls for it. (In this case a reverse avalanche effect).

Hey you have good writing chops. Wanna write for my blog? Tongue I saw this post hours ago, but notice that most people won't click if you just dump a link there. You have to give a little more context for people to actually engage.

If you're promoting just for SEO purposes, well that's another thing then...but know this...Google appreciates high quality content. even your forum posts should be of good quality for them to be considered. Smiley

Your article is finely written though.

Re: Could Satoshi Nakamoto be the CIA/NSA?
by

on 29/06/2015, 00:59:32 UTC
I'm sorry, but I couldn't even read the whole thing through without laughing. THe CIA/NSA is working for the US government who is trying to eliminate Bitcoin. It competes with their banking system and current economy, so why would the CIA/NSA invent something that is competition? They wouldn't.

That's not what Ben Bernanke (or however you spell his name) said on record. The chairman of the FED Reserve.

And here the proof in case you're wondering: It's in the first line of the article: http://qz.com/148399/ben-bernanke-bitcoin-may-hold-long-term-promise/

Now that ties in quite snug with the overall theory, which doesn't make it outlandish after all.

I would be interested and decently qualified for your moderator position, though I'd be happy to look into newsletter writing.

P.S.

Any script kiddie can tell you this, but https://weathyat20.com/tab-store.gif is trying to be loaded from the main homepage but cannot be found.

You're also directed to a website that does not allow BTC payment when you click Join. Personally, that's bad play if you're targeting the Bitcoin audience and since you display a "Bitcoin accepted here" image.

Thanks for the feedback.

You actually seem quite good at what you do. Let me pm you with some questions, and we'll discuss there. Have had a couple of other interested parties, but so far yours was the most constructive as of yet.

P.S. I'm still looking for a viable option of accepting bitcoin. I looked at Coinbase Merchant Tools and have even created a full account there, but read on a post here today in main section that they're literally banning accounts left/right and center.

LOLMAO. That made me crack. How did everyone miss that? Like when they said Al Qaeda can be loosely translated to el CIAda

lol is that real? if it is then he must have wanted for the world to see that picture. maybe he's sending a message to the world, something like "get the hell off of fiat!"  Grin

It's him, i know him irl and i'm sure he did it on purpose

What purpose? introducing Bitcoin to the world?
I think it's a nice idea Cheesy

the purpose of making people from greece aware that they can exchange their worthless fiat currency for bitcoins. that's how they can get rid of their crappy government and their system.

LOL @ comment. Did you know that Greece was the first to introduce the notion of democracy and representative democracy? (a senate, governors etc.). Romans adopted the model cause it worked so well at the time.

And that image is inserted there as a subliminal message, or else it was shopped if it's not real.

Re: Any other way to earn Bitcoins

on 29/06/2015, 00:30:12 UTC
Would be cool to have a bitcoin fiverr.

Fiverr already accepts bitcoin. It just doesn't pay you in bitcoin for obvious reasons.

you can add these two:
the forth is buying bitcoin with cash and either use it as way of payment or holding it if you think it can make you profit.
the fifth is trading, you can trade bitcoin with dollar (fiat) and vise versa to earn profit this way. or trade bitcoin with altcoins.

I'm actually finalizing development on a platform site where you can get an army of people earning you btc commissions + leads if you ever want to monetize your referrals and send them an email blast for new offers.

it's front-end is not quite finished, but the gist is in the 15-min video:

https://wealthyat20.com

I'm also looking for site moderators/blog posters in return for equity (shares). Have lots of topics but need to focus on other stuff atm.

Backend of platform is fully functional including moderator roles and member roles.

The original post was made today, for full details disclosure go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102706.0

All those for the same thing ? I mean "site moderators" + "blog writers" ?
I may be interessted but you should give more informations like the blog will be about what exactly ?? Only bitcoin stuff ?

No actually it will be more about List Building & Internet Marketing. Have a whole range of topics. Posts don't need to be that long, just provide value to the reader.

The site offers a platform where you can build your own list of emails and referrals. The way it works is you refer 3 people and you can stop...your downline will do the work for you from that point forwards. The first 2 that you refer to the site, you don't earn any commission on them, but instead give them to your referrer.

On your 3rd referral you start earning commission and you can practically stop referring people. That's because the 3rd person has to follow the exact simple rule:

Refer your first 2 people to your refferer (which is you). So now you earned 2 commissions and their email address. Those 2 you got from your referral will also have to give you their first two in order to qualify and start earning commissions. So now you got an extra 4 referrals for free, and so on and so on, each time doubling up.

Basically you get an army of referrals working for you, earning you not only commissions, but leads for potential other sales. If you want to send an email blast to your downline to promote another affiliate offers, it's up to you how to monetize your email list that is being built by your downline for you.

It basically doubles up every time... You can watch the whole 15 minute long video here:

https://wealthyat20.com

I am ready to give out shares to potential partners willing to undertake the task of expanding the site. Will not ask you to fork money, but rather take care of its content. It's backend is mainly coded now, so I can focus on front-end stuff.

If you want a free review account, just contact me. Or if you think you can provide some sort of valued input or even your time, in return for shares. Anything you can come up with, I'm opening to ideas and what direction you might want to take the site in.
