Peer to peer lending API
by
sauna
on 20/03/2015, 00:02:43 UTC
Hi all,

My cofounder and I have been working on a peer to peer lending API that allows people to lend, borrow, and invest directly from their wallet. Our APIs are defined here (http://pylon-static.pylonloans.com/develop) and we built an example online wallet here (https://pylon-account.pylonloans.com).

We would love to continue working on the project, but we've run out of money. If anyone is interested in incorporating loans into their wallet let me know! I'll be updating the website shortly with our documentation.

Cheers,
Kevin King

My Newegg shopping cart comes out to ~$1550, and that doesn't include shipping either. How the hell are you selling these for $1200? And you had better be selling a legit version of Win7.

Selling at a loss because I cant run the machines (keeping 1) without blowing out the circuit in my apartment. And ya it's a legit copy of windows 7. Will ship with cables etc.

no way that thing will run anywhere.. I had 3 7950's in a case, Thermal shutdown EVERY time no matter what I did.  I had LOTS of fans on it.  Gave up and put it in a good old milk crate Smiley

2 cards if they are spaced apart nicely..

EDIT - just read you were getting 1500 out of them so I think they are clocked down.  Which will help with heat.  I am pushing almost 1800 out of my 3 7950's

Yup, probably because I'm not overclocking. One of the disadvantages of OCing is that the cards are not really designed to disperse the heat you are generating when you run at higher clocks.

how many MH/s does this ditch out ?

For which protocol? I know for Scrypt (litecoin) it gets about ~1.5 MHash/sec. For bitcoin you should see about 1.5GHash/sec

1) This is the wrong subsection for this post.
2) you are asking retail price for a used system.

These are new parts built two weeks ago. I cannot run from my location so I need to sell. I can give you receipts to verify.

I'd be surprised if that thing could run ANYWHERE thats above freezing temperature.. 3 7950s in a case that doesnt even look to have the side fans installed.. sweet jeebus that thing is gonna be hot.

It has a top fan and a side fan. Actually does quite a good job of dispersing the heat.

Well.... I did blow the power out of the building. Apparently running 4 machines at once wasnt a good idea!

I'm keeping one, and I learned a lot building them, but at this point they need a new home Sad

I understand.  I have extension cords running through my house, so I'm on different circuits.  Start the microwave - breaker trips.  Start the washing machine - breaker trips.  My wife is about to kick me out lol.

Your avatar is a perfect description of how I feel running these things sometimes!

Ships from USA, bonus points if you're in the bay area. Extra bonus points if you attend the meetups

I tried relogging but the order is still not showing up.

I also dont have any LTC in the cryptocurrency area that is awaiting authorization. And ya I agree that you can just use a site like BTC-E, but I love supporting new exchanges and seeing what they have to offer. Sometimes it turns out you get burned, but I'm hopfule about Cryptonit's response.

WARNING: Cryptonit Destroyed My LTC
by
sauna
on 02/05/2013, 18:28:23 UTC
I placed an order for 80 LTC on Cryptonit and received an error while placing the order.

The FTC in my account never showed up, my LTC is gone, and the order I placed does not appear in the order book. There is also no history of someone withdrawing the money from my account.

I have contacted Cryptonit and will update with their response. For now, be careful when using their service.
