Re: [Auction] BitcoinPride.com For Sale - $21,000.00+ in revenue - $9100+ in Profits

Say592,

The price of BTC should not affect the outcome if your BTC-denominated BIDS....

The site has valuation of well over $80,000.00.

It's quite honestly worth a lot more than the 12.5 BTC you were bidding.... Please try to not interfere with any more auctions if you do not wish to bid....

Really? You are going to talk down to me offering and retracting a 12.5 BTC by saying it is worth much more, then show no such expression when someone offers you 3 BTC for it? Revenue does not equal value, especially when you had no more than one month’s financial statements. You can claim whatever you want, but when you show one month’s financial statements, and it just so happens to be a month where you made most of your profit, that is a little odd. It was worth a $2500 gamble to me, not a $4500 gamble. Point taken though, if I participate in any future auctions, I will wait until the end of the auction to avoid any potential movements in price.

I have some experience with printing and dealing with printing shops. Put me down for BTC12.5.

@say592 Given the recent rise in bitcoin price, does this 12.5BTC bid still stand?

@OP
Does the auction also include the ebay store/account?

Are you open to the possibility of bids for business without the "$800 of merchandise"?

I gave it a lot of thought this weekend, and I dont feel all that comfortable with 12.5 BTC with the recent increase in value. Consider my bid retracted.

There is soooo many knockoffs of these floating around.  Getting hard to tell which ones are real.

Anything I can do to help prove the validity of these? I was unaware that there were knockoffs out there. I might still have the receipt from Verizon.

LocalBitcoins rates are very fair, 1% off of the top for escrow, but chances are you are selling above the Bitstamp price (but below the Mt Gox price) with an established account in a populated area, you would have had zero problems converting $50k in BTC to $50k in USD. The thing is, you werent prepared. You could have transferred the BTC to your uncle, he could have done the KYC verification with CampBX and also had cash pretty quickly.

When we say that BTC is good for moving money cheaply, the money we are talking about is BTC, not government fiat. After you move the money, you go through the same hassles to convert BTC to local currency as you would with any obscure foreign currency, in many places there simply are not a lot of options, and the options that are available are subject to extreme regulation.

$85, shipped with tracking to anywhere in the US. Price should be based on CampBX or Bitstamp last, I wont nitpick, just get it in the ballpark. PM me for more details!

Brand new set of urBeats, still sealed in the box. I purchased a new phone from Verizon recently, and they gave me $250 in store credit. I picked these up, but decided that didnt really want them.

I have great feedback on LocalBitcoins from over 260 individual buyers as seen at the link below, and I am also allowing escrow on this listing.

PM me for orders or more info, or email me at bitcoins@southbend-btc.com!

Price for BitcoinTalk members is 0.065 BTC + 0.025 BTC shipping to the US. You can order as many as you would like and only pay the shipping once per order. Add 0.02 BTC if you would like tracking.  International shipping, with no tracking number, is 0.1BTC.

Im selling these on Bitmit for 0.1 BTC, so this is a significant discount. I have 100 of these, so if you are interested in purchasing a larger quantity, I can discount them slightly.

These are very cool novelty physical Bitcoin, made of copper and featuring the Bitcoin logo. These were minted in 2012 and contain 1oz of 0.999 Copper!

Orders received before 5pm EST will ship the same day!

Hesitant about ordering? Take a look at my LocalBitcoins page where I have sold 550+ BTC to 185+ unique buyers! Link below Smiley

If you have any questions, please ask! I am here to help!

And of course a horribly blurry picture to prove I actually have the coins.

I'm in the US. If I want one of these things it will cost me more than $11...kind of a lot.

You could get two of them for ~$15. I was trying to price them exclusively in BTC, but it looks like that is kind of going out the window. $7 per coin, plus $2.50 for US shipping with no tracking. Buy one get one half off still applies, use CampBX last for exchange rate (just get it in the neighborhood, I wont be picky). If you have any questions, including but not limited to exchange rate or discounts for multiple coins, feel free to ask.

Yeah, I know. This is among several things I do, and sadly I just dont have time for the forum! I hop on every now and then, but my ventures on LocalBitcoins keep me pretty well tied up. Its a long weekend here in the US though, so i am hoping that I will be able to spend some time updating my profile and such, but I also have to start printing my first run of Bitcoin Tshirts, so we will see how that plays out  Smiley

I did just sell about 20 of these coins on Bitmit too  Smiley

Thanks for posting the pictures though, along with the good Facebook comment thread.

Do these have any value? I actually found one of these coins coincidentally (the same time I had this tab open) on a Dutch market place (digital), and it said it was loaded with 1 BTC, however I couldn't see a sticker or any private key.

The only value in these is as a novelty, unless you count the $0.20 or so of copper  Smiley

Ah, alright. Guess that one might be a scam then =P. How much would shipping to the Netherlands be?

For a small number of coins, I can do United States Postal Service International (I assume it transfers to your local government postal service) for 0.095BTC.

I still havent had a chance to go to the post office yet, so I updated the prices based off of the website. I think they are still a little high, but they are where I am comfortable with them until I have a chance to go in and ask what the best way to ship them will be.

No photo of the coins... the link to the dropbox is in error... perhaps it is not in the public area of your dropbox...

No, it was. Im not sure what is up, I can see them just fine. I went ahead and uploaded them to a different host, thanks for pointing that out.
