Re: How to find ICOs worth investing?
by
sayulita
on 23/02/2022, 18:37:40 UTC
Now is not the time to invest in ICOs from last year ICOs are no longer the choice of investors because ICOs are dead, to invest in the future we can see current trends such as in NFT or the metaverse, but we must look in more detail at the projects we will invest in, especially in the destination and developers and has a team that is experienced in crypto.
indeed ico is not popular anymore, but I think the basic in finding a good new project is still the same. Currently metaverse and nft are trending projects going on. besides the experience or background of the developer is the most important, we can also learn the purpose of the project whether it will have good prospects in the future, although all of that is not a guarantee, but if we are successful, then our investment will double
THe risk involved in NFT is also pretty big, there are many NFT projects in which only high ballers only can invest like some NFT are being sold for 1 ETH upwards and most of the people can't afford to invest in those NFTs. Since the NFT are limited in supply that means that you have to be online when they are dropped unless you want to miss the NFT drop and we all know that the projects that are speculated to increase in value tend to sell out faster than the rest and this wasn't the same with ICO, each coin in the project was equal unlike NFT which are unique in its own qualities.

Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential?
by

Polygon has potential to be like ethereum because less fee and fast so I'm pretty sure that many project team will prefer polygon network in the future.. It will be popular just like ethereum and also the price will skyrocket and reach $100 price, so polygon is my choice good for long term investment.
Isn't it true that polygon already experienced its major bull cycle, so there are less chances that it would go into another bull cycle to give exponential returns. My best speculation would be to invest in a coin that isn't that popular now and is also having the features of coins like polygon, ethereum etc. I also like BNB but have stopped investing in BNB for now as there wasn't much movement in its price from a very long time, but I am really inclined towards BNB to give good returns once it become more popular for ICO and new tokens.

Re: The long term way is down

I am used to seeing Bitcoin go down drastically and I bet anyone who had been following it does so. Then, it just goes back up with unexplained events.
If you have been through those times, this is nothing.

Its just a matter of a few tweets from some influential people like Elon Musk for bitcoin to go down or up in price. A tweet in support and the price goes up and vice versa.

Demand and supply moves the market. many years back no one believed bitcoin will make an ATH of $1k not to talk of how much value bitcoin has added. january and febuary are mostly bearish so i don't think there is a cause to panic
Referring to the 10k BTC pizza scene, no one would have believed either that a person could actually buy 2 pizza for 10k BTC. No one could have actually thought that the price would rise to such an extent that buying a whole bitcoin could not be possible for the general population and even now bitcoin is still a child and still a lot of growth is happening. But the market suggests the otherwise and is only going down from the start of this year and from what I have seen, the crypto market as a whole should at least be in a bear market for at least the first half of 2022.

Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it?

You can make a good profit if you need to prepare mentally or research the market 1 to 2 weeks in advance to trade weekly.
Its not about preparing a week or two in advance, you must research the trends thoroughly that what happens to what coin at what time of the week, as there are many a times reoccurring trends in the market where a coin pumps at a certain time and then dumps as well. If you have your timing right then you can earn a lot of money from these silly trades. For example there is a GODS token which is used in the game of Gods Unchained and every weekend there is ranked matches and every player tend to play those tournaments to win some tokens and the rewards are distributed around Wednesdays, so if you mark your timing right then you can make decent profit over a single week.

Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin
by

The ones who are telling you to rid of the government are people who wish to control you.

Though bitcoin is decentralized, we can never get rid of the government as they are the ones who maintain the law and order of the world, without them, the decentralized world will be in chaos. Bitcoin is a currency, it does not have the power to control us, we are the ones who supports and give life to bitcoin, but without the support of the government, cryptocurrency will never be adopted and probably will not survive in the long run.
Without government support crypto can boom as well, for example there are a lot of illegal things that government doesn't support and still they are flourishing as a business and making people rich as well. So it can be the same for crypto too, where people use and do business without the interference of the governments because of its decentralized nature like what the underground marketplaces are doing right now.
But this is the same reason the government bodies are trying to interfere and make crypto legalized so as to make people pay taxes and start legal businesses which accept bitcoin.
And about surviving in the long run, crypto has already survived for a long time and that's when the government tried to look at crypto because at first they would have thought that crypto will not work and will vanish after failing but they were wrong and now are trying to do things the right way.

Re: Words of advice

The point here is that we don't give an opening for scammers to enter, so we really have to be more sensitive and careful. The scammers have their own modes and strategies that sometimes we don't think is common. here there are many failures that have happened to many people with their respective failures, such as fraud, being bugged, or panicking with the crypto market. those are all risks from the crypto world which is indeed dangerous but as much as possible we must be able to avoid it so as not to get a loss. believe in our own abilities and always upgrade our skills and knowledge so that we can be even better at trading.
The thing is that people don't want to spend time in understanding the crypto market and the functions of the wallets that they store their coins into. They just spend their money after reading an article or watching a video on how to buy X cryptocurrency and think that the coins are now safe in their wallets. But in fact they should study more on how to keep the coins in their wallet in absolutely safe environment and they never invest in the security of the coins which is of utmost importance.

Re: What is your expectation
by

Bitcoin will be more popular globally, Bitcoin will be accepted and regulated by more countries in the future.
Bitcoin might be accepted by more establishments in the upcoming years. Nothing more. I don't want to expect too much as there is no surprise to it. Just expect the unexpected whether it would be negative or positive Smiley.
But with bitcoin being legalized in the countries one by one there would be a problem in paying taxes, as in India the taxes on bitcoin investment profits is 30% which is the same tax slab that is being paid by the elite people who earn more than middle class here. And the main problem is that you just can't write off the losses if there are any in case of a bad investment in crypto, so this can be a big problem if you earn less as compared to the amount you invested in crypto and would have to still pay taxes on top of that too. On the other hand people were far better when government was turning a blind eye on crypto industry as a whole.

But bitcoin being legalized comes with ample career opportunities in the country and also now starting a crypto business would be easy as compared to when it was not a legal tender.

Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins?
by
sayulita
on 25/01/2022, 12:51:12 UTC
I am also one of those who brought bitcoins early but also did sell my coins thinking I have made enough profit off of bitcoin and now I am regretting my decision, so what else to do now?? That's the reason why I keep on investing in altcoins and hoping that one day I would potentially hit a gold mine and would redeem the mistake I did with bitcoin. But till now I am still unlucky and not found that project that would make me a millionaire, so the hustle must go on. Another reason would be that altcoins are now being more innovative than that of bitcoin, bitcoin is still the same as it was from the start but it is not the same with altcoins as they are providing more value to cryptocurrency economy and day to day use.

Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in?
by
sayulita
on 24/01/2022, 18:02:45 UTC
$ 1 million is a good capital to buy coins, when the market is red like yesterday it becomes a good opportunity to buy, with $ 1 million I will give 80% to buy 5 main coins that I will use for staking, and these coins are CAKE , BUSD, Uniswap, MATIC and BNB.
Even investing in the top 10 coins in a calculated ratio will give good results in this kind of market, but the problem that would arise here is the amount of time that a person would have to wait to see the profits in his wallet because of the possibility of us entering the bear market as the price is about the half of what it was around the month of November. Basically it would mean that the profits are sure but the time required to make that profit would be high now, but it is good if we compare it to investing in the blue chip stocks.

Re: Too much of new crypto projects?
by
sayulita
on 24/01/2022, 15:32:10 UTC
That is what happens in an unregulated milieu: chaos. The trouble is most of those projects range from crass, unabashed imitations to pure scams and just a tiny fraction are tangible and have a working products, of which a tiny fraction of this actually survives up to a year. Yeah. Always do your research
an unregulated environment is an area that is easy to manipulate, so there is freedom for people to commit fraud, this kind of project does not have a good community, team and developer, but the product serves as a tool to manipulate people's desires to commit fraud, so be careful Be careful in investigating such a project, doing research and evaluation all the time.
Only a few projects are there that are providing value to the community, the rest of the projects are just bad copies of the real ones and are only there to make money to the developers by capitalizing on the HYPE provided by the original projects. So, that's the reason why most of these projects become dead after over a year or so, as a matter of fact most of these aren't able to get listed on any exchange if it wouldn't have been for those decentralized exchanges where some idiots fall victim to these scams and hand over their money to the scammers.

Is $34k the bottom??
by
sayulita
on 23/01/2022, 05:43:25 UTC
The price was going nuts and now seems to have stopped falling for now and also slowly rising up for a little while as well. What are your thoughts, is it going to fall more or would it start to rise again and recover all the money that was lost.
And what if this rise in price is just temporary and the price would again reach $34k and breach that support as well, what would happen then, what is the next support to look out for in case the market bleeds more in the coming days.

Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year
by
sayulita
on 23/01/2022, 04:51:31 UTC

In other words, it will take some time for the market to get better.

This may change and it may not be so long for reversion to start. The price is around $34k and pushing to $30k support and strongly hodling at $35k. On a longer time frame, it is looking like a change is possible to happen anytime soon before the second quarter beginning. This year may still look positive at the end.

If the support gets tested again a couple of times then surely the price can go below $30k and that would mean that the price can further go down and bearish cycle with bitcoin lasts for very long period of time, this is also looking like the case when the Bitcoin price broke $20k mark for the very first time and then in a couple of months the price spiraled down to about $5k. What are your thoughts, are you buying this dip or waiting for the $30k support to break so that you can buy more cheap bitcoins.

Re: Know when to buy and hold
by
sayulita
on 22/01/2022, 19:02:27 UTC
Exactly, but buying the dip is not a normal thing, everyone doesn't have that kind of brave to open their trade in the bearish market.
Now the spot price is $34K, You know this dump helped the trader to waste their own money and transfer that money to the pocket of whales and manipulators??  Cheesy

yes, every dump is useful for manipulator/whales/crypto_exchanges. they bagged huge money during the dumping moment.
be wise don't feed the manipulators, hodl tight, and don't be panic.
That's right, at least there must be a large enough capital when you really want to do something like this.
because as you said, most people are not too bold to buy when the market is like now.
although this is indeed a good thing, of course we also don't forget the analysis which is indeed a support to make at least the choices we take can be accompanied by good data
Isn't it good to buy more at the time of a market dip, most of the new investors get afraid of dump when they see the amount of money that they hold in their wallet go down by more than 10%-15% in just a day or two. They panic sell at that time and then regret their decision later that why they sold their holdings in case of a dump instead they could have just waited for the market to recover and then would have made some profit buying the crash. I always look out for the crash as an opportunity to buy cheap coins and secure a better position in that coin and fill my bags.

Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth?

on 22/01/2022, 18:02:21 UTC
I agree with you now is the right time to buy bitcoin or big alcoins like eth and binance, but I'm waiting for the price to go down I'm sure the lowest price is not today, definitely tomorrow or the day after tomorrow is the right time to buy bitcoin.
Maybe if you want to buy big amount of bitcoins or Ethereum then it is the right time to do so because currently the market is already all red and easy profit if the trend reverses and the market goes up. But if you wait for the market to go down further then it can be a bad decision as no one has ever predicted the bottom correctly so you are also not a special person, I would suggest you to not wait for bottom and buy whenever you can get a great position to buy like today itself.

not everything will happen like that.from the lessons of bad experiences maybe we can learn and we also need to do good habits and always be careful in responding or taking the right steps to be a successful trader..
.I hope that nothing will happen more, everything must go according to our ability and don't force it.
Trading is a treacherous game and everyone can't take that kind of risk in life. The person was a real addict, maybe it's his tendency to become addicted to everything that he gets indulged in, for example he is having hard time leaving alcohol and drugs as well.
Although he shouldn't have made this kind of mistake where he has lost 5-10 bitcoins because of such an inconsiderable mistake which have cost him a fortune that I guess is non recoverable and its more than the amount of money that a person can save in his entire life in some countries.

Re: Where should I invest money?
by
sayulita
on 21/01/2022, 18:46:48 UTC
This coin isn't trusted that much and chances of it going to go to the bottom very soon are higher than it going to moon. So that is the reason that people aren't talking about this coin. High APY can be sometimes misleading, even if you get 19% return over your invested amount of tokens but then also you can be in a situation where you have lost money as this coin is highly volatile, so most probably a market crash in the future would be inevitable.
I would suggest you to invest in more established investments that can land you big money maybe with a 6% or less APY as the market is currently in a bear cycle and when the price starts to rise again then it will surely be good to have your money invested somewhere safe rather than lying around here and there.

Re: What happened to the crypto market now?
by
sayulita
on 21/01/2022, 18:06:48 UTC
why do you still think that crypto will end, crypto has become a part of humanity that is difficult to eliminate...

if you ask me about the best investment then i will suggest you crypto instead of gold, property or stocks are not profitable only the most profitable imo is crypto. a bear market like what is happening right now is normal, don't panic and don't sell and sell your assets in current conditions, believe me the price will go up again.
But since the market is in a downtrend then can't the buyer wait for the bottom of the downtrend and then after that they can also buy the cryptocurrencies that they want to buy. But most of the investors are not traders or know anything about technical analysis as well and thus might probably miss the bottom or maybe mistaken a small dump for the bottom and loose a lot of money in the process as well, so it would be wise to buy crypto over a time period and then I am sure in the long run the investor would have benefitted a lot from investing in crypto over these years.
