Our BTC project is named as TMR (http://www.tmr-asic.com/index_en.html), which comes from "The Miner". This project was started from the beginning of this year, and targeted on high efficiency Btcoin computation ASIC for, and distribution scheme of future computation power systems.
We had already completed the first-generation ASIC for Btcoin miner, which is based on one traditional and cheap 153nm CMOS process, with normal computation ability of 144MH/s, as some optimization had been done on RTL code. Actually, this first ASIC is used for verification and design experience for Btcoin computation ASIC, and the result is quite good, as listed below. These results will make good basis for coming next-generation full-speed Btcoin ASIC, and reduce the risk of high-cost and new CMOS process which will be used.
Since we make the first-generation ASIC based on low-cost CMOS process, so this price of these exited ASIC is still competitive enough to be build up as these miner machines.
Review of Our progress in this year:

TMR团队的先期运作完全是自毁招牌。看到淘宝产品描述页面里TMR直接注明:"因此在您购买此矿机时，请充分了解此风险，即有可能买此矿机投入的钱可能永远无法赚回本。"这才是业界良心啊,甭管价格高低！人家提醒小白了！不像杨骗子啊打着赚钱的旗号坑了多少小白啊！凭这句话就说TMR靠谱之前我要说下，在矿机发布多天前，TMR官网上就写着TMR全新比特币芯片 每16颗芯片打造一台矿机 多台矿机便捷级联，极具性价比，但是却一直不公布售价。有多少人是冲着这句话加了群的？每天我都在TMR群里看到大家都在TMR极具性价比，是业界良心的，都在热切的期盼售价的公布。待到16号公布的时候，骂声一片。
另外，采用这种资本垄断，团队获利的盈利模式对BTC社区有百害而无一利。这将导致BTC中心化的进一步加剧，危害BTC网络的稳定性。
以上两点，我认为TMR不值得尊敬，这样的团队还是越少越好。

嗯，官网是一个月前做的，主要是看到市面上的烤猫现货价格实在太贵了，
当时算了一下我们的成本，分摊掉前期一些一次性费用，感觉能比其他现货便宜好多，
所以也没有考虑很多，就写了这个宣传文字（当然这也是我们的最终目标，从芯片设计阶段我们就在这么考量）。
这一个多月来难度确实变化太大了，我们也没料到，最近太忙没有顾及到官网，所以有了这样的结果，
我想说的是这是个动态的过程，并非我们的本意。
至于我们的成本，
第一批小批批的成品成本跟大规模上量后的成本有很大差距的。
另外我们第一版的板子从设计角度为了确保容易定位bug，也完全没有做成本压缩上的考虑。
而且我们也适当要摊销一部分一次性投入（mask，制板，贴片都有些一次性费用）。
所以最后：
如果按成本价来卖，当然也可以，但我们最终权衡再三（主要考虑到我们的供货能力）还是订下了这个价格，让您失望了。
而这个价格，是定位给研究者用的。所以我们在淘宝说明上把挖矿风险提示得非常清楚。
另外，我想说，只有当一个行业充分竞争时，您心目中的业界良心才会出来，
因为他们会有一定的资本实力，利用一些创新型的方式来赢利。
起码比特币挖矿行业目前还没到达到这个阶段。
我是投资人之一，本来实在不想预售，但是最近看到很多人购买了几乎无法回本的矿机，实在于心不忍。因为我们并不缺资金，所以可以暂时超低价不记mask成本预售，只为占领市场份额，并且用国内第二大交易平台做担保如果延期可随时退还全部预定金额。
这位弟兄已经活跃很久了，披露过做芯片的事，应该是真实的。
喜欢忽悠的人通常不会那么耐心，不会提前很久打埋伏。
我相信这位兄台说的也是真实的，的确在做40nm的芯片，
不过我一直在芯片公司工作，虽然不了解你们的具体情况，但有几句想说的：

芯片回来，离真正的矿机还很远，系统硬件上的一点点改动就会让时间周期拉长几周到几个月不等。
特别是如果你们的团队在美国，就更困难了。

投一笔钱，成立一个公司，再找几个资深的技术人员来做，可能技术上验证、测试什么的都没问题，
但是如果他们之前不是一个团队并熟悉芯片公司运作的所有流程，那么很可能在芯片产业链的各种地方碰到意想不到的问题，
这样需要非常长的时间来磨合。
虽然是竞争对手，不过还是祝楼主好运，能很好的解决这些问题。
