I understand that these are Batch 3's, but you may want to price accordingly to fair market value.

Yep, I'm thinking it's gonna hold in the $50-60 range, there's just too much buying power out there for it to drop much lower.

I'm also aware not everyone likes Paypal, probably because of the possibility of charge back attempts. I thought the gift option on Paypal was unable to be charged back but if someone has a better idea for transferring USD and wants to do this trade, I'm open to suggestions. Looking to get this trade complete before Monday, otherwise I'll probably just use Coinbase.

Well, I don't think the Blades are doing too bad on the eBay side of things. The still seem to be selling for between $4-5k even after the price drop. As long as you have the ability to sell a high dollar amount every month, both options(blades or USBs) could net you a little profit when resold. I've been thinking very hard about putting my last blade up for sale. Part of me wants to hold onto it and just leave it mining for years since I believe that Bitcoin is here to stay, the other part of me wants to sell it and reinvest the funds into either BTC or other hardware. Hell, I've also still got a 6x GPU rig, but that's just because I'm nostalgic.

Again, I'm auctioning those USB sticks to start at $1350, shipped Friday or Saturday if they're snatched up. For the forum, that price may be a little high, but for eBay, it's pretty low, especially if no one else bids on them.

I'll agree, the price is high because of the recent price drop. It really screwed a number of us that bought those units at almost $300. Right now, I'm just trying to recoup at least some of the amount a friend and I spent to get these. I had a sneaking suspicion we should have just gone in on another Blade together.

I hope it does work out for you.

If you were able to work out an escrow in your batch 3 sale, it would probably be one of the more reasonable ones on the forum and I have no doubt it would get scooped up in no time. Everyone on the forums prefers to use escrow, it's proven safe and reliable, and for someone as new as you to these forums(your account that it), it would make many buyers more confident when sending you an offer.

Good luck!

Yeah, the inability to not be able to change the email address is what will turn most people away I think. Simply because of the fact that you would have the ability to request a reset password later down the road.

Honestly, if you are truly in need of the $7,000 or so, I would look at putting the unit in escrow with a "no backing out" clause and then applying for a small bank loan. Yes, you may have to pay interest on the loan for a few months until you receive the BTC, but remember, you are still making a good return on your initial investment of what the unit was worth comparative to USD when you bought it.

That is honestly what I would do as it protects the buyer, and the "no backing out" clause protects you. Additionally, if a buyer didn't want to agree to the clause, then just have him put a small deposit in escrow prior to, or included with the full amount and use this small amount as a penalty fee if he backs out.

Ok, that's pretty much escrow!

However, there is always the issue of you contacting Avalon and claiming that your account was hacked into. Is there any documentation or confirmation that they will honor an address change or the release of your account to another party? If not, I would contact Avalon and ask them to give you clarification. I would also allow John K to take full ownership over the account after he has received the full payment. That would eliminate any possibility of you changing the login info right after you recieve the BTC(I'm not claiming you would do that). This would just ensure everything is controlled by the escrow.

So, you want someone to send you over $7,000 worth of BTC on your word that you'll surrender your Avalon login/password?
