Re: Is BTCJam a Fraud!? Should you get out now!?
by

This is a message from Kuwait supporting what BTCJam is doing and doing right. Of course, there is much more they can do and I know they are doing their best to iron out issues and make it better platform for both investors and those borrowing. It is great idea and my hats off to those who set this up. Until now I thought Brazil to be just sun, sand, samba and beautiful women. I stand corrected now!

Have I been scammed by borrowers? YES. Would I blame it on BTCJam? Certainly not. They are as legitimate as one can expect. Last month one of my friends (there are only two from Kuwait on BTCJam so far) lost a few bitcoins from BTCJam through the heart bleed vulnerability. Guess what BTCJam did? They returned it back to him within the blink of an eye! Wow. Now which fraudulent company does that?

I am somewhat active on the BTCJam unofficial FB group and privy to what happened with Avastar1. He does not belong there - not even by a long shot. What he is doing here is nothing more than shouting out "sour grapes". Best to disregard people like him who are nothing but a nuisance to good and thriving communities like BTCJam and all those honest people who have benefited one way or the other through that platform.

I suffered the same fate too... And I had a lot of over 800 VTC transferred from coinedup which came in so much later that by then the price had halfed! Cryptsy ought to pay attention to this kind of happenings.

Dogecoin Mining - Low hash rate
by

I got myself some computer gear and set out to mine dogecoin through a pool. After many a struggle, I got it up and running only to find that the Kh/s is so low that it would take me a month to mine just one dogecoin - let alone a block!

My processor is Intelcore I7 - 3.40 Ghz - 16 GB - Win32 - Graphic card is AMD Radeon R9 280

My settings somewhere is incorrect as otherwise I should be getting a whole more than the 63 Kh/s my computer is clocking right now. Can someone kindly help tune up my setting. Thank.

Given below is the readings on my PC:

I have download a cgminer from https://pool.dogechain.info/ and followed through with the steps in the same order what was recommended. Even after a few tries I have error messages and the mining does not begin.

Here is the message.

 [2014-01-31 20:53:25] Started cgminer 3.7.2
 [2014-01-31 20:53:25] Started cgminer 3.7.2

[2014-01-31 20:53:26] Need to specify at least one pool server.

File name is cgminer.conf
My settings are ...

Not sure if this is acceptable here but I would tip the first person who sees me though this problem and helps me start out my miner. Tips of 5000 Dogecoins.

Thank you.

BTClevels.com - They have SCAMMED me. I am unable to withdraw the btc deposit I made some two weeks ago. Wrote to them atleast three times with no reply. Best that people be mindful of this website.
