Is price negotiable? Shipping to italy?

At this point the price is firm. It is already discounted from what CoinKite offers for essentially the same thing that sat on my shelf for a few months.

PM me an address and I'll investigate international shipping.

[WTS] CoinKite Bitcoin Terminal - $500 - GPRS Quad/WiFi - 2 available
by

on 04/12/2014, 14:30:12 UTC
I picked up a couple CoinKite terminals about 9 months ago for a project that never got off the ground. They are new and unused with all the pieces in the box (opened one to verify, removed nothing) and have never been registered to a CoinKite account. More information on these terminals and the services CoinKite provides please visit https://coinkite.com/ for more information. (including Multi-sig and TOR addresses)

CoinKite Terminals: $500 each
Free shipping up to $25 cost

I think these are a great way to show businesses that a traditional card acceptor can handle bitcoin for them and will be the preferred form factor for some people going forward. People who I think would benefit from these systems include:
  • Small businesses that need to handle more than 1 bitcoin transaction an hour
  • Consultants or resellers who want to work with these businesses
  • Bitcoin educators who need a good prop to bridge the current and future worlds
  • Anyone wanting to operate an impromptu manual bitcoin OTC/BTM exchange at events

If you are interested in one or both of the units I have please send me a PM, I'd prefer to ship only in the US, but might do some limited international shipping for an additional handling fee (if you need more, please either contact Coinkite directly or have a broker contact me that can accept a US shipment.) I'm asking $500 each to offset my losses and give someone a good deal at the same time ($1000/each retail at purchase time, $675 today) with free shipping up to $25 per terminal. I accept Bitcoin at Coinbase prices or most altcoins at a premium depending on convertibility.

Please PM me with any offers or questions, or feel free to ask the latter here.

Edit: found a better link, might require login: https://coinkite.com/faq/terminal

Looks like about 600 in attendance here at Inside BItcoins. I'm the guy wearing the pink tutu because I'm TMIBTCITW and, moreover, bringing awareness to The Tutu Project, of which has yet to accept Bitcoin donations but, hopefully, by my action here at Inside Bitcoins, that'll change, whereupon they'll receive a $1,000 USD via bitcoins endowment from Bitcoin 100.

Pink Tutu FTW!

And you look funny too!

bitcoin is a desire to exchange value in search of a medium, altcoins are a medium in search of those that value it.

SWAG = Strategic Wild Ass Guess

Scientific is also used, but I learned my version from the military...

In either case it denotes a combination of big assumptions bounded by available information to get a likely outcome

Extortion, a familiar tactic when it comes to the Bitcoin scene and business in China.

I don't really understand this. Is extortion a familiar tactic when doing business in China in general, or specifically when doing Bitcoin business in China? It seems odd to refer to extortion, or any tactic, as "familiar" for such a new thing as Bitcoins. In any case, I found the statement surprising. Are ASICMiner staff frequently fending off extortion attacks as well?

Extortion is a constant worry already, bitcoin is just the latest "magic" way of earning money that others will want to take.

Q: How do you plan to convert 7000 Bitcoin into fiat? No need for full disclosure, but this question is critical.
A: ... I do believe there is still some discussion around if ALL 7k should be sold ASAP or if a portion should be held for dividend payments etc. ...

Please establish and communicate a policy around this ASAP. I do NOT like to see investor funds being used for dividend payments, the money is there to grow your business, not to placate the shareholders.

Please also open a complaint at the link in my post above.

Unless multiple folks are complaining he is such low priority that I doubt they will ever get around to doing anything.

I have yet to get a satisfactory response, but they claim that the investigation is "open"

I can't add this latest information to my case except as hearsay, it means nothing in that context. If you report it yourself it can be taken as evidence and used against him, so please take action to defend yourself and others!

OK everybody I find the pattern: whenever I paid attention to how the miners were working they don't find anything. When I went to lunch, dinner, sleep they found coins.  Wink
In concur, this is how it always work.

Unfortunately hardware follows the same pattern for failing...

- I'm committed and guarantee forwarding the delivery the same day it arrives Sarasota - FL USA, when the final bid meets at least €16k.
Every one-hundred-thirtyfour euro less will delay shipping by one day. In the last scenario items won't be shipped brand new anymore, but being used for the calculated number of days.

To me it looks like you are attempting to sneak in a second, higher reserve price and will be extracting the most profitable mining period from anyone who "wins" the auction below €16k.

There is no way I'm bidding on something with such a clause (which likely violates eBay ToS) that stands in absolute contradiction of your advertised price ($2670) in the previous post. (speaking of which, these opening terms would net you ~50 days of mining with the equipment the buyers believe they have purchased with "early" access)

Make it a simple auction and you might get some action.

Hmm, I wonder if I should sue the registrar for my money since they obviously didn't even do form validation on that number...

I also traced my coins on blockchain and they entered a mixer on the very first hop.

So, is anybody going to the convention next week?  I can only imagine the ruckus that Yifu will cause there - i imagine him being hounded by folks everywhere he goes (at least I can dream), but someone needs to chat him up about BAKEWELL's 2 B2's .... I'm in the bay area - I'll go do it myself if i can snag a ticket, and can firm up a time & place where he'll be...

I'll be there, and I own something like 1/7th of the shares, so I'm planning on bringing it up...

If other shareholders are going please let me know and we can try to coordinate a single meeting instead of hitting him up every time Yifu turns around.

CAUTION!

I placed a "canary order" with them last week and while I was told to expect my stuff on the 9th, it still has not arrived today. No tracking number has been provided either.

I have emailed them twice this week without a response.

I do not know if they are a scam or if they forgot to account for Finals Week or something. Since my order was placed on launch day, I'm giving them some time to get their stuff together, but they really need to improve their communication if they are legit.

I will update in the reddit thread (as Scryb3) as I find out more, and continue to take appropriate action as needed.
