Hi there. Apologies all for the lack of communication here. I had a prior obligation to the Boolberry community to ensure a smooth transition for the original developer and his team to return to the project. We also have a 25+ page research paper we've been peer reviewing before publication that covers the new ring signature scheme that will be implemented in Boolberry (very exciting stuff something that will position it as a leader for ring based privacy). On top of that we've been writing the final code related to that paper to get it turn key for use in Boolberry. In addition, I've been traveling which has made things even more difficult to manage meanwhile trying to manage exchange listings for that community.. As anyone can imagine its hard to do all that and focus on two projects.

All that said, starting this week my focus will be 100% on Doubloon. While I've been preoccupied with Boolberry our team here has been working on the project. We've made improvements to the mining algorithm and pour transactions. Our next steps will be to integrate all moving parts i.e. minting, ledger and trustless key generation etc. As soon as I'm settled and our new website is up we'll release a roadmap to give everyone a clear overview.

Hey all, is there a dedicated trading sub for boolberry? I posted a trading question on the Reddit but there were crickets. If there isn't a trading sub, can you all get one going? Also, what is a fair price rn for BBR? The trading on stocks.exchange is pretty stagnant and small (but it is the only exchange as of now). This being said, should we expect a general rise or fall when it gets listed on the Kucoin?

I reached out to them months ago and again in December but still haven't seen any response from them. If anyone knows anyone there they are more than welcome to open up a dialog with them. This is a decentralized project so anyone can help the project! Feel free to reach out to them about relisting the project.



Today I received a confirmation from Kucoin with regards to BBR. Their delay was due to changes in management positions resulting from new hires to handle increased workload. We are now working with their full team towards integration of BBR.

In addition, we are also working with other exchanges to list BBR although due to NDAs we cannot speak on the matter until things are announced. What I can say is these exchanges are in the top ten by volume. These other exchanges will also require funding so we need to explore ways of creative funding for the project to cover development, research, operations, marketing etc.

would be cool to have binance on board too, and very glad poloniex became irrelevant !!! did you guys noticed how poloniex became the anti pump exchange? all coins are lagging behind, how do you explain that? people hungry to sell for btc to get out?

One thing to consider when comparing XMR to BBR marketcap is scarcity. Monero has roughly 5 million more coins in circulation than Boolberry even though they were both launched within weeks of each other. This would require Boolberry to have a much higher PPC than Monero to achieve parity in marketcap.

Greetings everyone,

We will no longer be hardforking Boolberry. We will be fairly launching as a separate currency with a small pre-mine for research, development and marketing along with a small mining tax to support on going project related endeavors.

We will also be pivoting to a new zero knowledge system developed by our researchers. This new system will require us to forgo ring signatures and stealth addresses. Since we won't be using our ShortRingCCT research, we're planning on migrating that it into Boolberry, so if you're interested in that head over to the BBR thread and join the community.

Itsuku will be reserved for Doubloon along with our new zero knowledge system and our i2pd integration.

Sorry for all the confusion here but this was a recent development in the project direction and we decided it was best to bring our prior work on ShortRingCCT to make Boolberry a stronger competitor in the privacy vertical now that the original developer is back on the project full time. I've updated the ANN to reflect the pivot in direction for the project.

We believe this is the best direction for our project's integrity as all coins will be mined through Itsuku rather than generated through a hardfork.

It shouldn't be long now until BBR trading is open. Kucoin synced the daemon and wallet on Monday and have been working on BBR integration all week. For those unaware, they also just revamped their trading interface. IMO, it's the best interface for any exchange at the moment. I'm really excited to get everyone trading there. I have a feeling they're going to be the top altcoin exchange for 2018.

I'm absolutely agree that regular updates and good communication with the community is the key to the successful project, and that's the thing we're working on. A lot of things were made during the last 4 months. The premine myth was ruined many times before, however, it's continuing to stay in trend among haters. I'm not trying to complain or something like that, however, I only want to make you notice that there's a huge progress performed by the team during the last months and thats the start point of the new era for Bytecoin.  

I have taken heavy positions in several dozen coins over the years and I love what I am seeing with this project. Truly unique to have the opportunity to be involved with both Boolberry (legendary) and now Doubloon.

With everything we're seeing, coupled with the incredible development team behind the scenes, Boolberry will be valued north of $5 by the end of this year...Easily.

+1 for the hard fork. There is nothing stopping CZ from making his updates "after" the hard-fork. This community has been loyal and patient. A hard-fork is the best way for us to have an opportunity to be involved with both projects.
