Re: Is it a good time to buy altcoins?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 14:12:30 UTC
I've been doing some reading lately and willing to invest a small amount into altcoins but not sure is it the right time to buy now. Shall I wait any longer?
Do not wait anymore instead buy more this time because everything is now under control, market is going up again FUD is already over. Do not miss this opportunity to buy at its cheapest price

yep, FUD is already over. bitcoin is made 10 percent up and good coins  made it between 20-30 percent up. This is just preparation before it starts flying. If you don't want to regret, make your investments now.

Re: Is bitcoin going to hit 5000 USD ?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 14:05:25 UTC
I do not think it's possible because bitcoin is very strong, I'm sure today is the last day bitcoin down and tomorrow bitcoin prices have started to increase again.

Yes, especially today's graph shows clearly that bitcoin will not break 8k towards lower levels again. This last drop is called correction in technical analysis in case you don't know it already. And that is the very natural behavior of markets.

Re: What Happend For Bounty FB IF FB block ads crypto
by

on 03/02/2018, 14:04:08 UTC
according to rumors circulating, facebook itself will block / banned ads about crypto, and when it is true happening in the near future, what is the fate of bounty campaigns facebook? I am more confused.
According to you ?

That is very scary. We earn little money with these shares in facebook bounty. if facebook blocks our private facebook accounts that we are holding for years that would be very sad.

Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 14:03:04 UTC
Dont think it will happen because of its mass scale adoption acros the world and pretty much everyone heard about it.Yes bitcoin have problems with transaction fees and time of it but eth isnt really much better, thing that people are forgeting that btc isnt over with improvment for example lighting network should be up this year for btc

Actually it is bit early to make comment about this debate. We should see how they will survive after this panic selling. if btc stays around where it is and eth goes over 1200 usd, then there is sign that good boy ether can outrun btc.

Re: Will bitcoin end?
by

on 03/02/2018, 13:36:40 UTC
No,bitcoin will never end, it is the future of our currency.People from all over the world invested in btc and these investment will never finished.Future of btc is very bright.

Exactly. I wonder what makes you ask this question? just because it came down 50% in a month? how about it made %200.000 in few years? If you want to be a good investor or trader, you have to learn how to think objectively just by using the power of the numbers, not the emotions!

Re: Why BTC is down again?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 13:34:58 UTC
initially I think the current bitcoin drop is a reasonable price correction. but this seems not just a correction, but there is a panic that accompanies, and perhaps also FUD.

Right, main reason is panic selling. That is the worst one. Because when it starts, it is very hard to stop it. I can observe that they are using media channels to effect our decision to sell, so they can buy it for better price.

Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 13:28:55 UTC
The government of China condones the use of bitcoin I think is because of this reason. They think that the use itself will not benefit their economy's growth and that they think that the growing population of chinese people that are investing in bitcoin might someday make their own national currency obsolete.

I don't think the word "hate" is not the right term to use for what China feels about bitcoin. Maybe they are just threatened on what bitcoin might bring to the economy. We all know that China is very competitive in terms of economic activities.
Another reason is that,as one of the biggest economy in Asia, they are making some research on creating another cryptocurrency system so bitcoin won't threat them . they don't want to be overpowered.

guys come on, open your eyes. What makes you really think that China hates bitcoin. They love it man. They love it more than anything. They are playing with news just to speculate the market, that's all.

Re: How can we help bitcoin grow?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 13:25:28 UTC
Bitcoin doesn't hold the promise it once did, explosive growth and adoption, now the only explosion in adoption is the number of segwit users. People are using the lightning network before it's ready, potentially damaging the bitcoin ecosystem.

So I ask you, what can we do to improve bitcoin adoption, reduce fees and protect bitcoin for being crushed by regulations?
What I believe we must do is to trust the blockchain itself. We all know bitcoin is not an ideal money but it is very great in its own ways. One reason is that it made the cryptocurrency world very famous and it is very adaptive. Keep believing in the rise of bitcoin and it will lead us to greater heights.

As we all know there is a huge war against crypto currencies by central banks and we should introduce the concept to as much as possible people. second most important thing that we shouldn't sell our coins just because they want.

Re: China crackdown on BTC and will support its own cryptocurrency

https://www.forbes.com/sites/sarahsu/2017/10/19/will-china-host-the-worlds-biggest-state-backed-digital-currency/#380d56461231

Though the news was on October 2017 but still relevant and could be one of the contributor why there is huge dip of BTC's price recently.

Majority of Chinese patronize their own. We cannot deny the fact that there are large of Chinese population in  the market of Cryptocurrency and their absence will be a huge blow to the price of BTC and other cryptocurrencies in generals.

Most of the projects, trading sites, mining platforms are belongs to China only. Their support is must see the bitcoin and other cryptos in the high price. Atleast companies should migrate to other countries where bitcoin is legal to use.
Other countries still really looking to adapt the bitcoins but some illegal source are spread negative information about the bitcoin. So they all are fear to invest on the bitcoin.

Agreed. They are the one dominating both investing and mining part. After all these years they think that they finally got the chance to beat usd, not with their own currency but crypto currencies.

Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin?
by
sean.maley
on 03/02/2018, 13:19:22 UTC
I would suggest that you check the historical price of bitcoin dating back maybe 2 years or so and you will see that it is common for BTC to fluctuate. Given that it goes down dramatically if there is FUD like banning or regulations being implemented. Vice versa when there is good news. But as the saying goes, nobody can tell what 2018 holds for BTC. What we need is faith in the technology and patience.

Good point of view. If you want to see the big picture you have to check at least 2 years graph, you can even check 5 years. why are you checking just one month and saying is it downfall of bitcoin, of course not.

by

I think there is a misundertanding here. Do they ban it totally or just for illegal purpose?

It is just speculations that has been used today to manipulate the market and I'm sad that they succeeded to do that. Their main objective was to cause retail traders to do panic selling. I hope you didn't!

by

Yes, the banks are fear because of the achievements that the company of bitcoin receive in there company.
Bitcoin is the most leading electronic coin which lots of demands and supporters they have; therefore they can replace in future in this world.

They definitely fear about crypto currencies. The main reason of today's drop seemed like India'a ban speculations but we all know that actual reason was the war between central banks and crypto whales.

Re: Bitcoin is in danger?
by

TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.

I think it's normal. I have read a lot of articles before engaging myself to bitcoin. There are couple of down lows and highs when it comes to bitcoin.

I also think so. If you check weekly graph for 5 years time span you will see that last 25 days down trend doesn't mean anything for bitcoin. I would start worrying if it goes below 8000USD level and stay there a bit.

The social media giant said it is barring ads for "financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, and cryptocurrency."

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/31/18/facebook-bans-ads-for-cryptocurrencies

I have seen it yesterday and it made me really upset. I just started to earn some money with facebook bounty campaigns and then facebook wants to ban those advertisements. I now scared to post anything because I don't want my facebook account to be blocked.

Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin?
by
sean.maley
on 30/01/2018, 18:45:00 UTC
It’s not too late to get involved in bitcoin. Yes, there are plenty of people become wealthy by the help of bitcoin, and we are reaching the bitcoin limitation. But it’s not too late if you are gaining bitcoin’s right now its because know that you are starting to earn some money. Maybe, there are only 20% of people’s population that are using bitcoin.
if indeed you intend to really follow bitcoin, to my knowledge also is not too late in a journey.
it's just that you missed out with other friends who have built the account too long enough.
so at this time there is no word late, whatever your business in managing bitcoin then it should remain grateful.

It is definitely not too late. The journey is just starting actually. If you check coinmarketcap website Top Gainers list you will see that every day a lot of coins are making at least 5X so it is clearly not late.

Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin?
by
sean.maley
on 30/01/2018, 18:43:39 UTC
Because that is how it is. This forum is for everyone, thus bitcoin is for everyone it may seem that males are more knowledgable than females or should I say males are far more interested on doing this thing rather than females. Because there are no gatepass or requirements even existing on this for you to start, you only need to have a sense, perseverance, and most likely a hard work on doing this stuffs because this thing is not a joke for us to troll around.
We don't know who many women here, but majority of us here are man and it is not strange to know that. Since man, are more exposed in technology, whenever they have time they are searching for the update and news unlike women who are giving most of their time updating their status (not all). And most the women focuses if not in their career but in their home and children.

Agreed. It is unfortunately expected. I believe the reason is that they are not really used to take risks when it comes to finance. It is not specific to crypto currency world. If you analyze any other investment field I expect the same less women.

Re: If the BTC crash, will it take every other coin with it?
by
sean.maley
on 27/01/2018, 11:28:39 UTC
BTC is the king of crypto, so yes, if btc crashes it does effect all the market, basically people start selling all there holdings in panic and cashout there investment in loss resulting in overall reduction in the market cap.

I was also thinking same up till last month but somehow I have changed my point of view. Because even when btc was falling, there were some altcoins going higher. That made me think that even if btc crashes, there is still chance that solid coins can survive.

Re: Invest now or wait?
by
sean.maley
on 07/01/2018, 16:38:26 UTC
Waiting for the perfect time isnt an easy thing to do,it maybe in weeks months or even years, instead of waiting you can start trading alts and investing in ICOs and win a lot of bag full of money.
No time for waiting! This world is so fast and we must do nowBTC

It sounds like a good philosophy for our evolving world. Waiting is for people who are afraid. I also believe that there is no "perfect timing". If you have money, do a good research about projects, decide the coin and invest. That all I do.
