Re: German (Jewish) Professor Demands White Children Learn Arabic

They should definitely learn German and not the other way around -- i.e. Germans learning fucking Arabic.
And to suggest making it mandatory? He is fucking nuts.

It would never be proposed here in Sweden, by a sane person, even though the extremely large number of muslim refugees that have settled here during, well, the past few months... And even though our long tradition of Social Democrats as the ruling class, again, it wouldn't be proposed here.

I thought we were politically correct... Germany is completely down the shitter, it seems.
Be proud of your country already and get rid of that fucking imbecille named Merkel.

Re: Creating a trading platform
by
sedeki
on 08/11/2015, 11:44:17 UTC
I'm currently working on a trading platform which will consist of an API, a native client (think TradeStation) and a web client for people that cannot install stuff on their computers or aren't at home etc.

The idea is for it to be a Bitcoin "stock exchange", with both stocks (i.e. Bitcoin companies; not real stocks in that sense) and also Bitcoin futures and derivatives.

I'm looking for someone that can help me out, e.g. with the API. It is written in Python/Flask and uses SQLAlchemy.
This is obviously non-paid.

"This is obviously non-paid."
Is that mean you seek someone who know about API and coding to works together with you with free (not be paid)?

Also you not offering new idea of exchange service. Just same as c-cex, bittrex and other bitcoin-alts exchanges. I do not know it will working or not.
Obviously it wouldn't because of non-paid.

Regards.

The idea is that you can post contracts e.g. futures like, "This contract will give you X BTC at the end of day Y" and the exchange software will enforce that contract.

Let me know what you think about this.

Good to see that you are helping the Bitcoin community by starting up a new trading platform. Would you mind explaining what do you mean by Bitcoin companies; not real stocks in that sense ?
Thanks!

Regarding Bitcoin companies, I meant enterprises like the ones listed on MPEx, not on NASDAQ.

Integrating Quantopian.com's Trading Library with MtGox?
by
sedeki
on 11/05/2013, 18:19:29 UTC
Hello!

I'm surprised to have not found quantopian's open source trading library (Python) applied to Bitcoin?
It can be found here:
https://github.com/quantopian/zipline

I don't have time to do this myself at this moment but if I cannot find something like that I'll write it myself.

www.quantopian.com has a lot of trading algos that I think could be really interesting to bitcoin traders.

Python and C++ coder available
by

on 25/04/2013, 20:53:36 UTC
I am a Python and C++ coder that can help you with technical design, development and QA.
Since I am quite a new member with few references I am willing to work at a discount.

I have a passion for algorithms and have a natural attraction to problem-solving.

I have a full time job so I'm looking for something really exciting to work on at night.

I don't have any fixed rate and I'm open for offers.

I currently own an online clothing retail shop, and would like to start accepting bitcoin as payment. I would love to take part in forums on the subject of merchant solutions. I've been doing a lot of research on bitcoin, and I believe that either bitcoin, or a version of the idea behind it, is the future.
PM me the address when you get out of here.

Re: Bitcoin SIP/telephone service
by
sedeki
on 09/04/2013, 00:11:03 UTC
I'd love to have:

1) my own phone number
2) POTS routing(as in I get my phone number and get them routed to my own asterisk server)
3) outgoing calls from my own sip server
4) ability to change my number quickly
5) log access so I can verify what information about me is kept
6) international numbers
7) text(sms) capabilities, to receive AND send text messages.

I'd also side for your services if only a subset is supported.
right now I'm using twilio numbers which are bridged into a conference call to my ipkall number which is forwarded to my asterisk server. not quite the best solution, IMHO. and the thing that bothers me most is that IPKall keeps deleting my numbers if I add phone numbers for multiple users on my server without notice.
Sorry, what does this mean? Is this the subset you could do without, or...?

Bitcoin SIP/telephone service

I'm doing a small market research on the interest on a Bitcoin SIP (a VoIP protocol).

What features do you want in that case?
- Your own telephone number?
- Total anonymity? Access via Tor, etc
- ...

Re: Have people stopped buying drugs on silk road due to price of BTC?
by
sedeki
on 08/04/2013, 21:45:11 UTC
All hypothetical of course.

Due to the high price of bitcoin, will that affect the silk road? Will people turn to different markets that deal with "proper" money [ducks and runs for cover] and hoard their BitCoin causing deflation?

Are there any figures?
The prices are adjusted to the USD.

Yes but BitCoin is rising in price all the time so some people might hold them to sell rather than to spend them.
Sure. But that was a explicit design goal.
I don't think this is a big problem though because Silk Road is a big reason why people buy BTC in the first place.

Obviously Gavin et al can be identified and obviously have a big responsibility within the Bitcoin community.
They are just covering their asses in case something goes wrong, which you know, has happened before...
