Ok, this sparked my interest a little. I think I can see a lot of real world use for this outside of our crypto bubble. Im going through the source now. I will probably try to build later today.

Hi, I am in Berlin now. Where can I find the location of the current project? If it even exists...

It only exist in Amsterdam for now I guees. The next location will be opened eventually. More than location, the problem is with exchanges. They don't build ETH gateway and sold people those PBT tokens. This is not fair. ICO price was 3BTC, the current price is 1BTC... Pitty.

Amsterdam is already there, but shouldn't they be working on Berlin location? If not what the fuck have they been doing since ICO?

I will be in Berlin tomorrow. Is anyone have any information on the supposed location of the new 'offices'? I would like to stop by to see if it is even in existence.

Why are updates so rare? Slack is a closed group, not accessible by web searches.

Well for one thing, not much more value will flow from this forum to the Augmentors group. We served the purpose they needed from us which was to bankroll their idea. In the future, value will come from gamers that most likely do not know much about crypto. Being active here will no longer help them so what is the point?

This actually seems pretty accurate in this situation. It's kind of like "we already have your money so fuck you. We could care less if your little 'tokens' become worthless since we got what we needed from you".

I admit that I invested in this  Undecided

I definitely regret it now. The actions of the team are completely unprofessional since the end of ico. I had a really good track record of ICOs before this, but, you can't win them all. I am tempted to go visit their 'operation', Amsterdam is just a short train ride away.

Please keep in mind that Primalbase tokens (PBT) have 4 decimals.
If you see something on exchanges now that appears to be PBT, check the decimals.
PBT has not been released yet.
Be careful!

I do not think this is accurate. Both Steem, and SBD have 3 decimals in real-life. On the exchanges they have the normal 8 decimals like every other coin....but, if you try to withdraw you can only withdraw the proper decimal amount.

Just a question. Is Augmentors game doing much advertising outside of the crypto world? Obviously, your targeted game base will not be this community right?

This may have been answered somewhere else already.

Will the 30,000,000 set aside for "development, awareness, promotion" stay the same amount regardless of how many coins are sold in the crowdsale?

This makes a difference because based on 100,000,000 DTB, that is 30%. But if only 10,000,000 DTB are sold in crowdsale and the rest are burned, you will have 75% of all the DTB.

I feel like this "redistribution" plan might fail. If all the powered down steem gets dumped on the market quick as possible, it will redistribute SP, but the price will have crashed so much that the new holders will barely be able to upvote $0.01. And the hardcore buyers will still end up as the largest holders and nothing will have changed except the price will be shit.

Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Decentralized Debit Cards | OCaml | New Blockchain Platform

I would like a little better explanation of how "decentralized debit-cards" are supposed to work.

Are they supposed to be able to be used at point of sale purchases? If so, how is that supposed to work? The reason businesses except your current banks Visa, or Mastercard debit-card is because of the centralized entity(Visa, or Mastercard) that backs up the purchases. Anyone could print up a bunch of cards that are not backed by Visa, or Mastercard....but no one is going to accept them for purchases.

Banks also offer a non-branded debit-card for people with only a savings account. This debit-card is only used to withdraw money from your banks ATM. It cannot be used for purchases. I do not see how this could be an option either because you need the centralized entity(your bank) to hold an account and offer withdrawal services through the ATM.

None of the above would allow even a fraction of decentralization.

So basically another no future clone with no plans. You guys really should stop releasing these, it is not 2014-2015 anymore. Only new technology coins do well now....bitcoin based clones are ancient history.

wasserman99 when and under what conditions you're going to pay signature bounties? And these payments will be from ico 1 or ico 2 funds? An if from ico 2 why that?

if it is from ICO2 then SebastianJU should pay the signature bounties to make sure that people receive their hardwork money.

People from phase 2 can still request a refund. Funds from phase 2 have to be reserved, therefore paying bounties out of it is not an option unless the option for refunds is removed. The "dev" got more than enough from phase 1 to pay the bounties.

Was there ever a hard fork of xmr where consensus was compromised?

No.

So what's the reason for xmr classic?

great question, isn't it ?

I guess the guy who started the thread wishes to surf on XMR current pump, and on the wave ETC created.

Conclusion : to grab money here and there.

A.K.A SCAM

Lol and if it's no faked buy, it seems some folks are really buying it

I just took a quick look at the ico page, but from what I saw, it is just a wordpress checkout? That would be super easy to fake volume on, you just need to change a field in the database.

I read some very good quality postings over there. Any signs it could revolutionized the internet?

Yes, it's possible. steemit is a sweet site. I'd say it already has changed the internet. I won't use any new app or website unless they pay me in cryptocoins.

well steemit is made with a good Idea. and some posts are extreamly brilliant, but the problem is quality contents are not getting enough upvotes, and not earning well, and the other side some low quality and shit posts getting huge upvotes and earning a lot of money.
I don't know what these big power holder see to judge a post.
and may be this is the reason of the recent huge dump on steem coin.

Most of it is automated. My rough estimate based on a number I pull out of the air is 75.63% of posts the largest holders vote for they never read.

Only the Steemit Shills are making money on Steemit Blogs, pretty disgusting. The 1000 people signing up a day are obviously exploiters draining free Steem from new accounts sending price down. Invest with your time and creativity not your $$$.

You can draining free Steem's only with in 104 weeks so no way that new accounts sending price down.

well we all new it would get exploited,. What can be done to limit it though?

Absolutely nothing x]
shil accounts vpn's an many other methods can make it almost impossible to detect.

you need to earn something like 10x the account creation amount before you can start power down process.

My quote also claims the developers gave poor mining instructions.

For me, this was the greatest part of the launch. It was not some easy clone that I could just click the mouse a few times and instamine the fuck out of it. It was like a puzzle. After I figured out the mining, I tried to help others get started, but even with detailed step-by-step guide, most could not get going. Hindsight, I wish I had rented tons more servers, and kept them running until the end. But, like you said:

Quote
First, being used to so many launch shenanigans from other coins, I, like most other miners, am quick to throw around the word "scam".
On the first day(after re-launch) I was pretty sure it was a quick scam. I should have known better after digging through the code, but in the cesspool that is the ALT ANN section of BitcoinTalk, you can never be too careful.
