Ethereum+: A Peer-to-Peer Digital Asset System

Abstract. The Ethereum+ network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. A zero compromise blockchain with the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture and the Turing Complete programming of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) architectures. This is a breakthrough smart contracting and digital asset system based on SHA512 proof-of-work, designed for extreme throughput and scale.


What is Ethereum+?

0.5 would make the MC 3 billion making it similar in position to ICON, Bytecoin Lisk etc. I don't think it's there yet TBH but .25 is something I can see in the near future for this coin.

Yea there's no reason to abandon the project when there's room for growth. It could just be a pump n dump but looking at the volume, there's a steady increase along with the price so it looks organic so far...

I use this and other wallets that have this type of false positive problem in some antivirus and I have not had any problems.

Again, the solution is not to set up exclusions. That's like asking for only pain medication when you have a broken leg. This needs to be fixed by the dev.

I agree that the solution isn't to set up exclusions, the better and right solution is to update the wallet so that ideally, the wallet isn't detected as a virus. At the moment, a non-techie person would likely be scared off installing it if their AV program alerted them to a virus and that reduces the likelihood of wider, mainstream coin adoption.


Here's the issue. I'm a software developer myself and when I downloaded the wallet and AV picked it up, I refused to execute it. Why? well two reasons.
  • 1. Too lazy to look through the source to see why AV is picking it up since my time is more valuable than that. I'm sure it's a false positive but again, I'm not spending my time looking through source when I do that all day for work.
  • 2. I trade other cryptos like everyone else and I have lots of sensitive info so I'm not going to take the risk of executing something that could spawn a keylogger or something and potentially lose all my investments.

Some new trader is going to feel the same way. This should be addressed.

Windows Defender also snags it and prevents it from downloading. Can this be addressed anytime soon? It looks bad when you download the wallet and it gets cited for a virus even though it's probably a false positive.

Nice to hear some news from you. I would like to know if there is a way to see how many people already added a wifi spot.

I agree. Some metrics would also help the coin in the market. adoption rate, usage, downloads, hotspots, coins purchased, coins used, etc...

Unfortunately I'm on iOS so I can't test it out but It's great news that it's working and will be in the Google play store shortly. It can only improve from this point forward so we are all looking forward to the success of this project. Lambo06 has done an excellent job coordinating and managing this project, kudos to him. Keep up the good work.

That's true. Look at the quantity that is being sold. Some people are taking advantage of the low volume to manipulate the price lower so they can buy cheaper. Who sells quantities of 50 to 500 WiC at these prices? Those are like $1 to $5 trades. We are suffering from low volume. Hopefully once the app is released, we get listed on coinmarketcap and perhaps more exchanges, things will improve.

Relax. the market JUST friggin opened! The people who bought at stage 1 would automatically make close to 100% profit by selling so some are, it's the market that's what they can do. Give it a few days/week for the price to stabilize and the app to be released etc. The volume is super low right now so when that picks up, there will be more volatility

Unlikely unless they can get some big players in the WiFi hotspot business to adopt their payment system, which won't happen until most consumers are ready to support the system. Cryptocurrencies are still foreign to most people, so the biggest hurdle is making it available to the average person.

From what I've read. The buying and usage of WiC for the end user will be completely trivial and knowledge of crypto isn't needed. For the end user, WiC will basically be like credit for wifi.

Now that the tokens have been distributed for the large part and trading will begin soon, can we get some speculation going as to where you see the price in 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year?

This is my first ICO so I don't know how these things play out. I'm sure some of you have been successful in past coin investments and can give your insight. Thanks and happy trading!

I think it will do the project much better if there was an online method to add WiC credit rather than having to physically travel to a retailer. The whole idea behind WiC is convenience of easily being to find a wifi hotspot around your area. If they have to now find a retailer that sells gift cards, it ruins the experience. I think a easy online method of buying credit is absolutely crucial for the success of WiC

Lambo: that is a solid statement my friend. If I had any doubts before, you have squashed them. I agree, these same people would want the USD equivalent if price fell just like I stated earlier. I'm a new investor not affiliated with the team or anything but to me, if the presale was in the form of USD, then a refund would also be in the same amount in USD regardless of market changes. This would always work in your favor since let's say Eth went down $100, you would expect to get the same amount you paid in return so you can't have it both ways. Just because the market is in your favor at this time, doesn't mean you can take advantage of it. Just my 2 cents.

I disagree, refunds were not the original agreement between the investors and CrptoWi.  I would think they are free to create any new terms to offering refunds, by just refunding eth

I don't think I made my statement clear enough. I'm not saying they should refund in USD, I'm saying they should refund in Eth with USD equivalent despite market changes. so if $1000 equavalent eth was sent, $1000 equavalent in Eth should be returned. The original investor wants the same amount in eth that was sent. I'm sure if Eth was down $50, he would want the USD equivalent instead. You can't have it both ways.
