Re: People are not motivated by money.
by
seniorita
on 17/09/2018, 17:59:50 UTC
I always hear the argument for capitalism "B bb BUT people won't innovate without the profit motive" WRONG

Humans want to solve problems, create, and innovate, they do not need money to motivate them.  Cavemen were painting art 20,000 years ago without the desire of money.

True scientists like Tesla, he didn't care about money it was about the pursuit of science.

Capitalism does not cause innovation, most new technology is found by government programs like nasa (internet, smartphones, etc)

Main reason why they care about money because money can buy them everything in this world, that's why they need find job to get money and using that to sustain their life.

Re: Bitcoin become an asset
by

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Bitcoin obviously a currency that's why it called cryptocurrency, but for now bitcoin can become asset too, i don't see any problem with that.
People use bitcoin for investment because for now bitcoin price not stable, that why many people prefer using it for investment not for payment.

This is why scheduling your time is the thing you should do if you didn't want something like this happening to you, this is lesson to you now, you should choose your priority, I suggest to focus to your regular jobs, then go to crypto if you have spare time, that what I do now.

Re: What will happen to bitcoin?
by
seniorita
on 09/09/2018, 13:06:48 UTC
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out.  It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value.  Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.

This why some investor should know when they should buy Bitcoin for investing and when you sell it to get profit. If they not know about that, only luck that can prevent losing their money

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
seniorita
on 08/09/2018, 19:42:12 UTC
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

It's hard to imagine, many commoner/old generation not really know about technology especially about cryptocurrency, this is case from my country. It's better to educate all of them about cryptocurrency before going to next step.

Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges?
by
seniorita
on 02/09/2018, 11:03:30 UTC
Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor. They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked? Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well, identify the loop holes and cause the problem. In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.

Of course hacker can become more smart, they are human too who can increase their knowledge. But I think, most case is because human error. I think that exchange should maintenance their security system in week if they want their money secured.

Re: What will you do with the current market?
by
seniorita
on 02/09/2018, 10:59:22 UTC

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?

I will do nothing because I can't buy anything, if I can, I will buy Bitcoin more to increase my profit, the best thing I can do for now is just wait and sell it if it better than my buying prices.

Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world?
by
seniorita
on 01/09/2018, 16:00:01 UTC
in the future, will there really be a need for fiat currency? Government can collect taxes in crypto, determine how to allocate it, and spend it in crypto. Ppl can receive salaries and do all commerce using crypto. Loans can be done in crypto. Fundraising can be in crypto. Sure, problems have to be worked out in terms of scalability, does it have to be completely decentralized, etc, the value has to become more stable. But theoretically, is there any reason to have fiat in the future?

It has been established that governments can now do taxation without representation by printing more money (which is a tax on everyone holding the currency), instead of trying to get a bill passed that allows it to increase the tax rate. With crypto this would be no more. All increased taxation would have to pass a vote.

From an economic standpoint, the idea that a country can stimulate its economy by adjusting interest rates is tenuous. There is just as strong an argument that lowering interest rates has caused speculation and bubbles, with calamitous results. In a crypto market economy, capital will flow from where it is needed less to where it is needed more.

I don't think world really need fiat currency, it can be changed by other currency such cryptocurrency in future or maybe newly created currency. But like you know, transaction using cryptocurrency need internet, not every country have good connection and some people maybe not know about it, so if cryptocurrency can solve this problem first, they might be the real future currency.

Obviously they prefer investing in gold or silver instead in cryptocurrency because they know more about gold and silver and they trust in that metal more.

Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

I think some country already regulate some usage of Bitcoin in their country and few of them already banned it. But if you talking about regulate Bitcoin it self, I think they can't do anything to Bitcoin.

This hard to happen in the near future, because your smartphone will get over heat from mining and of course your phone need huge amount of battery or it will die in a short time and I think in first place smartphone used for communication not for something like this.

Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency?
by
seniorita
on 19/08/2018, 12:18:50 UTC
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

Bitcoin it self is safety, but the thing you should pay attention is your own wallet, private key is the important things you should protect, it's better to save your private key offline not online.
