Im not a big supporter of this coin, to me its not a currency but it does hold value, i just dont have much confidence in it becaus it could be out gunned at any moment, alot of people dont see it that way, some even go as far as to compare it to bitcoin even saying that it will replace vitcoin, thats impossible because bitcoin and etherum are two sepperate thing$ , bitcoin-currency< eather-blockchain, so it would never replace bitcoin or any other E-currency , bitcoin we know is here to stay, eather never know, we could wake up one morning and eather could be dead.
I really support ethereum, because the project is very good for the future,
just look after hardfork emoga price can go up to 500 dollars
ya. hope many good things will coming this year for eth

Quick update: the first payout was small because most of it went to cover up the last part of the hole.
There are some "stuck" transactions: after the wallet update there is a strange behaviour. However don't be alarmed, I am working to fix it. If you see a transaction in the logs but you don't see the transaction in the blockchain, it doesn't mean that your bitcoins are lost.

Are you involved in pyramining?
I thought it was a one man band...

No, he is not involved with pyramining. He has been spamming other threads.

I think he has been removed by this time   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=712301.0

I am still not clear how these rules will affect my accounts.  I have several accounts with varying balances and bonuses (but I assume that I am not in the oldest 10).

If the new rules only apply to new deposits, does this include the queued amounts, or will it be implemented after the queue has cleared?

In short:

Will I see any benefit from the 6THash or so that is queued?

Will I now lose the 15% from referrals that I have accumulated and have it replaced by 5%?

The bonus payment seems to only come from completed accounts (which will be the oldest/ smallest and so add the smallest amount of hashing power).  This also reduces the 'bonus' everyone else gets when an account is completed and the hashing power is distributed to the rest (unless I misunderstand the concept).

I am open to a change in rules for new accounts, but I have a significant amount of BTC invested here and I am concerned that because I was an early adopted, I will now be disadvantaged.

The whole point in changing the rules is to attract more investors, but will anyone try and recruit others for a 5%/2.5%/2.5% bonus scheme?  Just a thought!

New rules (draft):

  • The hashing power is distributed proportionally to the power bought with each deposit, and it does not get averaged anymore. Deposits will get their real hashing power instead of being a part of the whole pool.
  • The hashing power left (completed accounts) is distributed to the 10 oldest and still active deposits as a bonus, to speed up completion.
  • The % of mined coins distributed to upper levels (sponsors) is changed. Before it was 15% to 1st level, 7.5% to second level and 7.5% to third level. It will become: 5% first level, 2.5% second level, 2.5% third level.
I am not sure, but what I understand is....new rules will be applied to new accounts and deposits and as new rule the hashing power left will be distributed to the 10 oldest deposits until completion. After these deposits are completed, the hashing power left will once more be distributed to the oldest deposits and so on  until old deposits are all completed. What about queued  deposits??...I don´t know but I am sure we will not be disadvantaged Monkey1 Smiley

It is not possible to get a refund. Didn't you read F.A.Q?

Your deposit is still queued. You are not the only one worried about this.

I have just joined them today just as a test with 0.02 BTC.

Eq. hashing power:   0
Reward completion:   0%

Does this mean I get 0 hashing power?

For all people "worried" about the status of the account: just wait for the new hardware to be deployed. It's worth it. Your deposits are currently queued.

It seems they will be activated by the end of January.

In the last few days I had several meetings and I am currently finalizing a partnership with a 28nm ASIC chip producer (NDA, so I can't reveal much). It will bring us opportunity to add more than 30GH/s per BTC before then end of January. When the agreement will be finalized, all deposits will be kept in queue until the new infrastructure will be deployed.

I am also making some simulations on new account policies that would give incentives in joining, and still contribute to all members.

Is it a pyramid scheme?
It is not: rewards come entirely from Bitcoin mining, not by referral deposits. All deposited funds are used to buy new infrastructure. The referral system is made to allow you to increase your income by inviting new members.

So how is that not a pyramid scheme?

No, it is not a pyramid scheme since you will always receive 10% reward from your investment. If you refer someone, part of the mined BTC will go to your account as a reward for inviting members, but those BTC comes from mining, at last you will always receive your investment plus 10% as minimun.

I've deposited 0.02 BTC to Pyramining. When do I receive my payout and can I cancel my deposit?

From Pyramining FAQ
"Rewards are sent in multiplies of 0.1 BTC. If your account is near to be fully rewarded (less than 0.2 BTC left) reward will be sent upon completion in a single transaction."

 From Pyramining Home page

Investment estimations
Break even:   ~ 53 months
Complete reward:   ~ 59 months
Current infrastructure:   74.31 MH/BTC
New infrastructure:   ~ 909.09 MH/BTC

No, you cannot cancel your deposit. From Pyramining FAQ  "All deposits gets entirely converted to mining infrastructure."

That deposit was over a year ago, and at the rate at which it is currently receive rewards it will take almost another year to hit .1.

Sorry dyingdreams, but I did lower deposits than that  http://www.pyramining.com/account/browse?id=hytdpe9f

And this was my first deposit, a year ago.

kefdp9zb   2012-09-23 07:11:01 UTC   0.01 BTC   28.6%

I moved my ... to find referrals so

 I have had my reward!!!

Sent rewards:   0.30150755 BTC  (I have deposited - Total deposited amount:   0.12078111 BTC)

I take a look to your account, you only have 1 referral, that has invested 1/2 you have. So, your bonus may be 11% or less.

If you try to have some more referrals, your time for seeing payout will probably decrease.
ASIC is benefit for all deposits, since  in 19/07 I was getting a 0.00001024 reward for that first  deposit and now I am getting 0.00002860 for the same deposit (per day)
