Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ?
by

If your Country bans Bitcoin, transfer your Bitcoin to a wallet of a foreign country (Coinbase operates in 32 countries). If you want to cash in, then use third party services like Virwox to get USD in Paypal, then use Paypal to get cash in your local currency.

Bitcoin is like Torrent, peer to peer and you can’t block it. If you have access to internet, You can use Bitcoin anytime, anywhere!

Re: Anywhere you can buy NEO with USD?
by

on 11/06/2018, 18:47:13 UTC
Allow me to answer this question as I have bought NEO coins from multiple places. Mentioning the 2 sites where you can buy NEO coins from.

1. BITTREX - Go to Bittrex, The Next Generation Digital Currency Exchange and sign up. Get your BTC or ETH address. Transfer BTC or ETH to Bittrex and send your exchange it with NEO.
For a detailed guide, read this: How to buy NEO from Bittrex? - Bharata Finance

If you are buying NEO from BITTREX, I strongly recommend you to shift your coins to NEO wallet to get free GAS.

2. BINANCE - Go to BINANCE.COM and sign up with them. They are a Chinese exchange. So, choose the English version. I agree the website UI sucks but they are good. If you buy from Binance, you will get free GAS even if you hold them on their exchange without shifting it to NEON wallet. Plus, the exchange does not charge any transaction fee.

Re: Cryptocurrency as Commodities in Indonesia.

on 09/06/2018, 06:43:35 UTC
For now, indonesia is not regarded as a cryptocurrency friendly region. The Bank of Indonesia does not acknowledge cryptocurrency as legal tender for goods and services rendered. This situation can also be observed in Russia, where the central bank refuses to recognize cryptocurrency, while politicians and government departments attempt to regulate and promote it.

Re: How to keep yourself protected from crypto scams
by

on 05/06/2018, 16:47:51 UTC
To prevent yourself from becoming game to these ICO scammers, always double check the ICO contribution address with multiple sources.  When the ICO starts, make sure to check the contribution address on the official website, along with the pinned message on Telegram, and the latest Twitter feed from the company’s official Twitter.  Never blindly trust messages that are being spammed in the Telegram channel claiming to be the official contribution address.  Also, never give in to solicitation on Telegram or through e-mail from people that may look like an admin or support team member.

Re: KYC of bounty hunters
by
septyadf1
on 04/06/2018, 17:20:26 UTC
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

Most Bounties required KYC due of many bounty hunters are greedy in enrolling multiple accounts and this is the one way to avoid cheating and multiple accounts but some reasons is the country ICO's located is needed KYC cause their banks requires KYC for some legal issues.
I think it would be too much. It's become normal that mostly ICO's are asking now to verify your identity. But it's really sensitive information and I'm not giving it to every random ICO. But if Bounty campaign participants are asked to verify identity, I would skip that campaign. There are so many scam or shady bounties and it's likely that they may use our personal information for a bad things. And even if they will pay out, I think it's not worth to sell our sensitive personal information for some tokens.

Re: Price prediction for Bitcoin Private
by
septyadf1
on 04/06/2018, 16:52:40 UTC
It is quite hyped so I see bullish. Original Bitcoin's climb will also help this coin to raise quickly.
It is good coin to invest or just get from regular airdrops in my humble opinion. That's it.
I think that currently it is very difficult to predict the prices as the market is relatively small, meaning it may be subject to manipulation by large holders and investors. Hopefully in the future if the market size increases we may be better able to analyze and predict.

No one disagree to use the KYC. People should also understand the risk you are taking by giving up all your information. If ICO want to complete the KYC. Just pay for a well known third party company to complete it. ICOs are raising hundreds of millions should be able pay for it.

Bitcoin is not banned in India. It is not considered a legal tender. Neither is gold. You can sell your Bitcoins to an exchange in India or a person.

This is so because in some countries cryptocurrencies has been stated as illegal to use in the exchange. Specially in India it is not accepted as in exchange of goods for buying and selling.

Re: My opinion about ETH
by
septyadf1
on 30/05/2018, 17:10:08 UTC
Ethereum has been published since 2014, since that time it has accompany Bitcoin as crypto currencies coins which has many supporters and market participants interested in investing in it. As the progress of Crypto currencies was rapid, there are more coins created after such as LTC, Ripple, Stellar, etc. I think Ethereum can challenging Bitcoin as soon, but the fact this coin also has many competitors of its own, so in my opinion Ethereum not yet able to pass Bitcoin but still be top of altcoin other.

Ethereum on the other hand is a blockchain smart contract platform (token) which has more use case than bitcoin, but there are also other new blockchain application platforms that are far better (at least in concept so far) than Ethereum. Lisk is one of them. Lisk is scalable as opposed to Ethereum (which is huge) and allows decentralised apps and smart contracts to run on its side chains without exhausting the main node.
I can see Ethereum facing major challenges with the generation of big data and millions of contracts and applications that are going to be executed within the ethereum main network every minute in near future.

Re: some of the reasons that made the bitcoin's price down
by
septyadf1
on 29/05/2018, 19:14:25 UTC
The price of bitcoin is derivate from many factors, the one that comes from my mind are :
1. Fight between stakeholders about the Bitcoin scaling issue
2. A Huge volume of transactions on trading exchanges
3. Geopolitical events and corrupted governments
4. Bitcoin is limited in numbers and more people are eager to get a piece of the pie, this increase the rarity of this cryptocurrency.

Re: Will crypto replace fiat money?
by
septyadf1
on 29/05/2018, 17:35:06 UTC
Cryptocurrencies surpass fiat currencies at some point in the future. One important consideration is that cryptocurrencies cannot be manipulated quite as easily as fiat currency, largely due to their decentralized and unregulated status. Beyond that, cryptocurrencies could better support the concept of a universal basic income than fiat currencies would. As a matter of fact, some programs have already experimented with the use of cryptocurrencies as means of distributing a universal basic income.
