I have tried many many times to mine with the wolf opencl miner and have spoken with Arux alot on trying to get it working but never could get it working. I tried with several different drivers as well. Wolfs miner works with my rx cards mining xmr but when i mine aeon all i get is low difficulty shares. I tried many different setups but could never get it going. If anyone is mining with wolfs and are using the RX series cards please let me know what your doing. When i saw that there was a new miner it made me want to give it a go again.

This also happens with my Hawaii cards (390X)

Has anyone compiled the binary for the newer Aeon Stak gpu miner?

Anyone mining aeon with R9 390's? If so what version of the miner are you using and what driver? Thanks

This is what happened to me as well. I have been trying to get my RX480 mining but never could. When i had switches to the older miner it gave the same problem. Had to remove the driver and installed the older 15.12. That fixed being able to mine with the oldercards Nd miner

I am having trouble running this miner on my RX 480s. This miner code is also used for the Aeon miner. On both it keeps rejecting any shares, low difficulty share problem. I have tried everything i can think of but nothing has worked. I have tried 16.7.3, 16.8.3, 16.9.1, AMD SDK 3.0, numerous times using guru to start fresh every time. Any ideas? We have ran out of ideas on the Aeon thread. The user Arux has recompiled the miner several times but no luck. I am using windows 10. Thanks

I guess i will go back through it all again, but im sure ive covered all the bases. If you have anymore odeas or if anyone is able to mine Aeon with a RX 480 please tell me!

A few posts ago a user shown that his was working. Windows 7 i think. Im using windows 10. Could this be involved in any way?

After seeing your post i removed all drivers installed with guru and then did a clean install of 16.9.1. Then downloaded your latest miner and still nothing worked. Even my older cards. I also installed AMD SDK 3.0 as well. Tried all kinds of different conf settings and have given up for now. Went back to mining with my older cards. Ill just mine XMR with the RX 470/480 i have. I really dont understand this at all. 😕

Yea nothing worked on the new miner, so i reverted back to the old one as well. All my cards running like normal except for the RX 470/480

Also now with the new miner i cant mine on my tahiti cards and hawaii.

Arux has there been any new news Bout mining with the RX 480's?

When I go to use the latest Wolf xmr miner it won't start mining. It posts the error -63 kernel error. I don't have this in front of me atm. The first try it couldn't see my devices. I believe it was that it couldn't see the opencl devices, error opencldeviceID's. At this point I then did a complete driver uninstall using GURU, and then reinstalled. This fixed that error, and now I get the error about the kernel. Specifically it was saying kernel '3'. So I can't get his latest to work at all.

Also to add I tried the older miners Arux compiled and they won't work either. Now I do have a rig with the RX 470's and I am going to try with it since people apparently can mine with them. Also as I said earlier all other gpu's work fine. So it seems that the 470 is ok but not the 480? Is that possible?

So you can mine on a RX 470 with the older miner? Can this be adapted to the current one Arux? Had no luck witj the new compiled miner sent. Whats the difference in the two miners?

Arux, does the opencl miner nees to be recompiled with anything newer for the RC 470/480 to work? I really hope it can be as i just aquires quite a few. 😕

I also tested all my other cards, pictarin, tahiti, hawaii, all working fine.
