Re: High or Low Supply: Which do you prefer?
by

on 25/01/2019, 20:40:03 UTC
I prefer to have low supply coins because I think if the project is really great and perspective, so the lower is the total supply of tokens, the bigger price is. There are so much projects with 4 billion total supply that are simply worth nothing.

I doubt your strategy will work out. Despite the seeming chaos in the market but it's balanced what concerns prices and volumes. You took a risky position! Hopefully, you know what you're doing.

Re: XRP competing places with ETH?

At the moment you can invest in ETH and XRP. I don't understand why you're putting competition between these two coins. These coins are very promising cryptocurrencies and I have invested in both.

I remember everybody was in a panic a year ago: people were buying a lot of Ripple at $1. And where are they? It's a very deceptive market! I think we'd better wait at least 6 months and see whether Ripple's worth buying

We are all waiting for the golden bull. But the course continues to fall. So let's be realistic. There will be no bull. We live on. We continue to work actively.

I agree with you. We'd better leave our hopes and not start hoping for smth else. Let's just work and see what's next! The more  hopes you have about the market, the more troubles you'll get from it

Re: More than 80% of ICO's launched in 2017/8 Were Scams, STO's are the next step.

In the last two years more then half of ICO's was shut down or tagged at scams

There is currently an intense debate raging within the crypto community. This debate is centered around the emergence of a new method of raising money for blockchain projects, this method is called a Security Token Offering (STO).

Some people believe that STOs, will eventually completely replace the original Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Others believe that STOs in their current form actually take away from a lot of the original positives that crowdfunding through an ICO provided.

Here in thisSTO guide, I explained everything about STO's the differences and regulations regarding it and why it so good to the crypto world

What would you think will happen in the next few years, STO is just another faze or it will be the final form?

Thank you for such an interesting topic. I've missed this new cycle of the development of investments in blockchain projects! I've run over this text so far, and I consider it a good idea which may lead to new growth!

Re: ICOs completed in the first half of January have raised around $160 million.

"Initial coin offerings (ICOs) completed in the first half of January have raised around $160 million. The figure was provided in a report by ICO rating service ICObench shared with Cointelegraph on Jan. 18.

ICOs completed by Jan. 15 have managed to raise about 33 percent of the combined amount raised in the previous month of December. Half of that sum was secured by just one project, the report notes.

According to ICObench, the number of fundraisers that are set to take place in January is more than 150, a figure similar to the past seven months, excluding December." - Read more in Cointelegraph. https://cointelegraph.com/news/icos-raised-160-million-in-first-half-of-january-report-says

On the one hand, the sum's not so big for the whole market, especially against the backdrop of the economic situation. On the other hand, it's surprising that there're still investors in such a bad market, and they invest much! A very interesting article and analytics

Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency?
by
sexylady13
on 24/01/2019, 18:26:49 UTC
Too late to recognize cryptocurrency and understand about bitcoin is the biggest regret, because when there was a surge in the price of bitcoin in 2017 I just realized that bitcoin was able to give me big profits and be able to provide convenience for me in making certain transactions. I hope that there will be a repeat of the rise in the price of bitcoin as happened in 2017 so that I can make a big profit through bitcoin.

No doubt, it'll be. This is demonstrated by the active development of the network and much positive news despite the bear market! It is to be hoped that the growth will start as soon as possible. But realistically, I guess we'll see it at the end of 2022

Re: How to avoid Dump after listing
by

on 24/01/2019, 17:50:29 UTC

In these market conditions it is normal that some investors and hunters are impatient and they dump
their coins below ICO price. We can see this trend happening even withsome high potential coins with
huge supporting communities. It is a good opportunity for buying cheap coins from them.

The questions are whether the growth will start and whether purchases will be worthy. It's well known that many coins can't get back to normal, disappear and are delisted from all exchanges.

Re: How to find out a legit ICO?
by

on 23/01/2019, 20:42:05 UTC
Reading whitepapers was the best way to avoid scam projects. If the whitepaper is great, move on to the product developments status and the team itself. As the last step, I would check the social media communities.

It reduces the risk of meeting a bad project, but there's no 100% guarantee. So many times there were cases when people had said the project had been good but it turned out it was a scam. It becomes difficult to distinguish a real project from a scam cause fraudsters are very tricky today

Re: Crypto currency unpredictability
by

many traders try to predict cryptocurrency price movements because they see charts that occur at the exchange place and it turns out that everything is not very accurate and many are sorry but if you have the courage you can do it.

Globally, it's impossible to predict everything, but experienced people can predict 70% of cases of local movement of the market. That's why they always get their profit! Only the time machine can predict everything!

Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction
by

For Q1 2019 in my opinion there will be no change in market conditions because it's too fast after experiencing a lot of price declines, maybe we will see prices improve in Q4 2019

Nice scenario! I also think that by the end of the year the market will start going up slowly and steadily, but we shouldn't wait for any sharp movements. By the end of 2020, I suppose.

Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto?
by
sexylady13
on 23/01/2019, 10:10:44 UTC
The real risks are that the market is very unpredictable and nobody can say what would happen tomorrow. Moreover, the market is very volatile and it can increase the price of any altcoin by 200 percent and decrease it by 500 percent within a night.

Real risks are that exchanges and wallets are being hacked. Fraud is everywhere. Moreover, there's still a bearish trend, and it's a real risk for new investments, including investments in cryptocurrencies!

Re: Is ICO investment still worth it?
by
sexylady13
on 23/01/2019, 09:44:14 UTC
For me, it is very risky for investment in the ICO, because currently there are many ICOs that fail, and prices after being in the market fall from the ICO price. But there are still a number of successful ICO projects, to invest in ICO is indeed profitable if we can see the project has good prospects, because in my opinion there are still some ICOs that have good potential

Any person who has been in this market for some months and invested in cryptocurrencies knows everything you said. You'd better mention those projects which you still consider interesting!

Ethereum and BInance coin can also need to be considered by you, since ethereum is more potentioal altcoin than any altcoins and Binance coins got so much popularity in the recent days because people started to use it to get away from the fee on Binance but don't invest for too long in my opinion.

I agree with you about these coins. Now they're worth the money and may be added into the portfolio for short- and middle-term investments! I think they'll demonstrate a positive trend toward growth!

In the short term, a serious breakthrough is not worth waiting for. A sharp surge in prices for Bitcoin should not be expected, the prices for altcoins will remain in the same range as now.

I'm prone to think there won't be growth in the nearest 6 months, but there'll be a downfall! I guess everybody thinks differently just because of greed. Charts show that we more likely will go to update the annual minimum of Bitcoin!

Not only the user's lack of knowledge, but also the security vulnerabilities of crypto coins can be a risk. First of all, security is a must, and confidence in crypto coins is reduced if security is not provided.

Many projects pay much attention to the security of their networks. As we know, ETH postponed its update because of the vulnerability. Developers work on that, so the situation will be better soon!

Re: Crypto pattern over the year
by

some people still have a hard time accepting that every single ICO has always been a big scam. most of them don't show it obviously but they really are scams at heart otherwise none of them attempted raising funds like that and not returning any product in the end. we have ridiculous projects too. they all promise things they can not and will not deliver.

I don't think we may judge the cryptocurrency market too harshly. What concerns small business and startups, we'll see most pr-s die in a year. Cryptocurrencies are risky, but many projects keep struggling!

Re: What is your favorite crypto and why?
by
sexylady13
on 20/01/2019, 11:45:40 UTC
My favorite are XZC because zcoin utilizes the zerocoin protocol to provide anonymous transactions in a unique scalable way. its a cheap privacy coin and i always liked it and have high hopes for it in the future
my second fav coin is NEO because i like the concept they are doing and i like the fundamentals, its a new coin that already made wonderful progress!

these are the only 2 coins im holding at the moment as well

what about you? Smiley

To play favorites is a bad idea. I advise you to estimate blockchains according to their technical characteristics and opportunities to earn.  This will bring you more profit and patience.

Re: THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT

you must bear in mind that cryptocurrencies are not all about profit. It has become a mindset to use cryptocurrency to get rich quick instead of maximizing the underlying values of the cryptocurrency technologies. Earning some money fro cryptocurrency isn't wrong but you should able to look at the bigger picture and change your mindset to spread cryptocurrency adoption in general.

I like the way you express this complicated idea. Sure, to stay afloat you must love this market and this technology, and to love it you must understand it and see its perspectives.

Last year everything about crypto  went  really  bad  But Crypto  Investor  never  give up  hoping  that things  are going to Change  this year !!
This year Two  Big Exchange Is in Big Crisis, Hit BTC And Cryptopia !! Is anybody  behind trying to manipulating the cryptocurrency  ? Exchanges platforms are shutting Down  and the Market always keeps dropping, isn't  it a sign  of  someone fighting to  Shut down  cryptocurrency  ?

Let me answer your unclear question in a simple way: life goes on, the market develops! I think now the market is going to enter the new phase of the calmness, which always happens before the growth

Re: The End All Coin
by

So what would the perfect coin look like? What sort of technology, abilities, and specs would the perfect coin have to have to overthrow Bitcoin and all others and be the only crypto currency we could ever need?

It's not the holy grail, it's just a code which will always meet the needs of the market. I think it's enough that Bitcoin quickly develops and accelerates with the help of lightning.
