Ethereum+: A Peer-to-Peer Digital Asset System

Abstract. The Ethereum+ network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. A zero compromise blockchain with the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture and the Turing Complete programming of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) architectures. This is a breakthrough smart contracting and digital asset system based on SHA512 proof-of-work, designed for extreme throughput and scale.

What is Ethereum+?

Ethereum+ is a revolutionary network designed to solve the problems with all existing blockchains in terms of scale, parallelism and Turing Complete programming. Ethereum+ is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. Similarly to Bitcoin, the Ethereum+ network requires minimal structure, and timestamps transactions into an ongoing hash-based chain of proof-of-work (SHA512/256). We introduce two novel breakthrough techniques to validate digital assets: unique references and a general purpose induction proof system both of which operate in constant O(1) time and space. It is possible to compose outputs in any manner, without compromising the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture. Therefore, users can leave and rejoin the Ethereum+ network at will and be assured of the integrity and authenticity of their digital assets.

Zero Compromise Open-source Blockchain: Hybrid Account + UTXO Smart Contracts

The world's first breakthrough hybrid Account + UTXO based architecture engineered for massive layer one (L1) on-chain scaling and Turing Complete smart contracts.Ethereum+ offers the benefits of a UTXO blockchain along with the advanced capabilities of EVM compatible blockchains, but with none of the downsies.

I had to write all the code before I could convince myself that I could solve every problem, then I wrote the paper. I think I will be able to release the code sooner than I could write a detailed spec - Satoshi Nakamoto

In the same spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto's launch of Bitcoin, we released a fully operational and software development stack on Day 1, before even writing the White Paper. We wanted to be convinced that the revolutionary and breakthrough system worked before writing about it. No waiting, no limitations, just a scalable blockchain node and toolkit to build your dreams today.

Re: AMD Releases Driver for DAG Issue !!!

I went back to the old drivers.  Without undervolt tools this has to be changed in Bios which is a pain and hard to edit on the fly.   It will be worth it when the DAG becomes a bigger issue, but not right now.

It's really surprising how many people think this is great though.  You should really undervolt...

I have undervolted my cards from bios as I have faced the issue like most people with latest driver. Reverting back to previous driver does not change anything. I still have 1 card functioning unstable. I am afraid it might be related to hardware issue

Hi,

I have faced issues after upgrading/updating to the blockchain driver. I am suspecting 1 of my gpus might be bricked.

I have 4x identical powercolor rx 580 8gbs, they were running around 64C+- degrees. After the blockchain driver one of the gpus started functioning unstable.

After trying many things I have realized that power draw of this card is lowering down to 80w sometimes 40w and back to 110w as it should be. so the graph is up and down all the way. Normally gpu only power draw for each card is 110w, as the others run and draw constantly.

So there is something wrong with this cards, heat is higher than the others, power draw is unstable and it causes watchdog gpu hang error.

What do you guys think might be the issue with this card?

Hi,
I have been running my rig with 4x powercolor rx 580 8gb, 2x rx 570 4gb and 1 sapphire rx 580 nitro + 8gb

after updating to this blockchain driver one of powercolor rx 580 card started to heat up very much. +5 degrees than others. I tried to run only with this card. same heat. reverted back to previous driver but heat still goes up to 75+ degrees. 4 cards are identical and only one of them causing this issue.

What do you guys think might cause the problem?

Re: Watchdog: GPU hangs in OpenCL call, exit error

Okay, a quick update. Problem has not been solved.

I have received an OpenCL error again after 6 hours of run. Checked and realized that one of the risers socket was oxidised. Even though they are all new and my first rig. Anyway, I swapped with new riser, whole system ran about 12 hours and another opencl error on another gpu, did the same, plugged the new riser, ran another 12 hours. Those were rx 580s. after the last run another froze again, opencl error. and one of the 570s this time.  Huh
You guys can imagine the pain I have been going through.

Just to clear things, I receive Watchdof: GPU hangs in OpenCL call, exit error. Computer freezes(I tried disabling -wd 0 it doesnt function somehow) and amd driver has encountered an error message at notification on the right. And I have to go to rig and do hard reset each time this occurs.

Anyway, guess I ll go one card each to run about 12+ hours :/ starting with 580s.

Do you guys think it might be related to driver issue somehow that claymore cannot initiate opencl? To repeat things up, claymore version is 9.7 and amd driver is 17.7.1 crimson-latest one

Okay this is weird. I have switched the cards to silent mode and started mining. after 30 mins of mining computer froze and display went off. I restarted and check the logs and there was no opencl error and everything from the log looks normal. Now I dont know what is wrong Smiley Trying to plug the display into different gpu and try again.

reset all overclocking settings if you used any , watttool , wattman , afterburner ...ect
turn off your pc
switch the bios switch for each cards to the opposite way
reboot your pc
dont overclock or undervolt ,
start the miner program let see what happening

always the same gpu hang on open cl ?
if yes  , find out which one is that gpu , easy way to do that turn off the mining for that card from claymores mining software , if its gpu 1 , then push number 1 on the keyboard , you going to see a msg in the dos window , gpu 1 mining is disabled . Few minutes later that card going to cool down , fan willl be turned off , so you can see the card with gpu1 , fun not spinning .
turn off you pc , remove the problematic card , restart the pc and let the mining program run for a few hours .

hang on open cl usually happening when the bios is modded incorrectly , or the card is way overclocked or undervolted ...

Trying this now. I have been trying only on 4 rx 580s to be more precise but each time different gpu was getting the hang, so I suppose it might be related to overclocking or undervolting settings.
With your path, I ll find out if the problem is related to hardware, riser etc.

Will update what happens.

Thank you

OMG thank god I find a recent post with this problem. Same thing is happening to me.

I have a setup with only two cards (I've taken out the rest to narrow down the problem) and I've tried everything but still get the hang on gpu1:

- Swap the cards (between several)
- Change risers
- Change motherboard and cpu (yes, I have several)
- Reinstall drivers
- Use different Claymore versions. I have other rigs running with 9.5 and 9.7 without issues.

My setup is running on Ubuntu server 16.04 and I've tried diferent cards, RX 580s and RX 570s.
Yes, my cards are bios modded, but they work perfectly if set up in other rigs.

Since the only things I haven't changed are the PSU, the ram unit, the ssd and claymore itself, I will likely find a solution soon, but I'm really tired of this sh***t.

Hopefully we'll find a solution together...

PS: Oh, and one thing I didnt mention is that if I disable gpu1, It works fine and totally stable. It's driving me nuts.

What brand and model are your cards? I am pretty suspicious of mines which are powercolor that is causing the issue. You might want to double check the bios mod of the cards that is causing the issue considering both of them are identical and no issue with riser. PSU should be fine since you are only running 2 cards. You might also try to plug your gpu1 into different pci slot on mobo. Those are the checks I can think of for your case.

And yes I am going nuts with this issue. Hoping to come up with solution. Cheers

It's currently happening to me with an Asus RX 580 4GB Dual OC and an Asus ROG Strixx RX 570 4GB.

I have checked the bios mod of the cards, they both work fine on another rig. Could it be that the PSU line for the riser molex might not be providing enough power?? It's one of the last few things that I have to check...

The PSU is a NOX URANOVX 650w I believe. I don't have access to the rig right now. But what bugs me is that if I use -di option and disable gpu1, gpu0 can run for ages, but if I disable gpu0 and try to mine with gpu1 only it hangs just the same, so it's not a power issue. Hence my question about the molex line in the PSU...

Regards.

650w should work with 2 gpus just fine. instead of trying molex cable, sata etc you can just use another entire riser. just swap it with another one and give it a shot. I have been struggling over a week. So my suggestion for you would be to jot down every step to try in correct order and eliminate one by one. Otherwise you suddenly may find it working out of nowhere and wouldnt know why it worked. And if you get similar problem with same rig again, you wouldnt know what to do to fix it. Let me know how it goes. Cheers

did you tried to switch the bios from silent to OC ?
What bios you modded ? silent or OC ?
did you saved your cards original bios file for each cards ? , card 1 -  bios 1 , card 2 - bios 2 ...
When you flashed back the bios are u sure u used the right bios for each cards ? card 1 -  bios 1 , card 2 - bios 2 ...
those cards can have a different bios version , just like the RX 480's

It is at bios switch mode as they came from the box.
OC modded not at silent switch.
Yes I have saved original bios roms of each
Yes I am sure

Thank you, I am out of ideas.

What PSU do you have?  6 cards will need a good PSU, at least a 1000W
Other than that your core clock is too high or core voltage is too low (i.e. too much undervolt).
Try lower core freq or up the core voltage with Wattool 0.92, but dont change anything else
with that tool since it was designed for RX 470/480* cards.

I am running with 2x 750w corsair gold+

I will try that. thanks

yeah after switching pci from gen1 to gen2 did not help. it crashed again.
I will set clocks to 1150 and 2150 mem and undervolt -96 and give it a try this way and see. will update results here as well

Watchdog: GPU hangs in OpenCL call, exit error

Hi,

I am running 4x Powercolor Rx 580 Red Devil 8gb with 2x powercolor rx 570 red dragon 4gb with claymore 9.7 and amd 17.7.1 driver. I am mining ethereum only on claymore.

Conditions are;

4x powercolor rx 580 red devil 8gb
2x powercolor rx 570 red dragon 4gb
msi z170a gaming pro carbon mobo
4gb ram
celeron skylake 4400 cpu
Cards are stock, not overclocked.
Amd driver version is 17.7.1
Claymore version is 9.7
windows 10 x64
virtual mem is set to 4000-16000
pci set from auto to gen1
4g decoding enabled

Here are the things I tried to fix the issue;

Checked the risers, swapped etc
Clean install windows
set -gser 2 and -eres 2 and -wd 0

Those above did not help. Most of the time people are causing the problem if the cards are too much overclocked or too much undervolted so I restored to original bios rom. However I still get the error after 2h of running and windows freezing.

I am thinking of changing pci from gen1 to gen2 and give it a try with that. Do you guys think it would do any help. If anyone had issue and solved it please guide me. I am stucked with this issue more than a week now.

Thanks
