if you're below the threshold you don't get a payout.

I didn't reach to the threshold because he shut down the pool.
So he is a Scammer

If there were 1000 miners like me, he robbed about BTC1= $6300

Totally agree with this, I don't get how a pool can post a 24hr closure with no warning and just take anything they want from those that didn't make the cut on reaching minimums. Definitely was not handled morally in that aspect. Which astounds me a lot seeing I actually felt I could trust this place.

Me, didn't catch this news in time, I do profit switching so fell under this amount. Is it alot of money? not for me personally but this pool definitely wasted my power bill when I could have had the warning in advance and put my resources on other pools that actually stick around. Not cool but enjoy the lump sum from everyone, if this pool ever pops up again, won't be adding it to my list on Awesome Miner ever again. This seems to be the scam exit year for so many pools and projects....but its good thing maybe in the long run, with some luck these types get out of the industry and maybe 2019 we can less of that activity on users trying to back Crypto as lifers

Re: Cryptopia Exchange Review - Everything You Need to Know
by

@coinbureau While i love the review, do see you were very up front about the facts, would love to see a revisit on this exchange. I been with Cryptopia for years, used to mine on their mining shaft platform back in the day and I am saddened to say I would give this place now a days maybe a 2 out of 10 if I was breaking it down for new users. Many of us that use this exchange lately have had almost criminal issues with them. Locking people from their accounts for months, me recently 4 months before support bothered with a ton of my tickets. Sadly after getting it back me and my fiance stupidly sent in some PIVX to this exchange and not a small amount to find out they forked the coin due to not updating their wallet and now playing the its syncing game for well over a week. Issue, I work in PIVX lol...well used to and since moved on but I still part time help them so I kind of know what it takes to fix these issues and PIVX wallet syncing does not take that long.

The thing I would like users to know about Cryptopia, look deep at these guys, its appears to me lately maybe greed got in there and they are less about their customers and more about the bottom line. This is going to undo this exchange if they don't get it together. Sad, years ago I would easily have recommended this place but now a days I think I may start warning people. I have had now 16 coins fork that I just happened to have sent to Cryptopia, its almost like it happens as soon as I deposit so my suspicions are getting towards the paranoia level with this place.

I commend your writing, I seen the date so I do wonder how you feel about these guys now a days, seems its been getting worse the last few months over there with issues

Re: Belacoin - Supercharging entrepreneurship with the power of the blockchain
by

on 06/05/2018, 04:10:18 UTC
I guess I been out of the loop for awhile on Bela, and I have held this thing since the old days of Belachess. Why in the world is this coin swapping over to an ERC20 token? I rode this thing a long time and never seen this sort of direction on the horizon in my wildest nightmares.

Someone here able to break it down to me because first off, I am an avoider of anything ETH, been stern on that conviction now a few years so unsure what I should do about my Bela holdings. Is it still tradeable to sell on POLO for other cryptos or is that old chain completely out of commission right now? I am sure the team has reasons for this but to me its an odd move, most ERC20 tokens jump to be one only to raise funds via ICO and the good ones tend to move towards their own chain. Not really seen the opposite where a coin on its own chain wants to leap into being a smart contract. I do wish them the best on this move but I won't be following this journey ahead, I won't hold ETH or its tokens personally, I just never followed into that ICO world much and don't intend to start today.

Maybe there is potential to return to their own chain? Or is that out of the question? Odd move, been in crypto a long time and never seen one of the older chains swap out like this to ERC20 token.

good project, information about its development is great, clean and straightforward, it has everything to do in the future, waiting for new information at the moment.

Are you serious? Its time to introduce negative merit for these cases where people dont even bother to read the last 10 posts.

Well said RealSwissMiner, its definitely not time to be shilling this coin and act as if its a good investment lol. Enough people been trapped, wasted electricity on this thing and for new comers, its advised to read all the pages and not just the last few comments on these ANNs. Issue here, dev disappeared, top that off he listed this coin on an exchange that is now being investigated by the authorities after looking more into CoinMarkets. Apparently they were a scam and ran off with users money, MT GOX all over again lol. So I would be very careful but honestly this coin has no dev nor any exchange listed for it. Not sure if the dev just quit on it or what happened to the exchange he put this on ran him off but questions definitely do need some answers. Amazing I still hold this wallet on my system, I think deletion is probably wise, I think I can use the free space on a cheap game or something lol

Sorry everyone that mined side by side with me on this crap, but eventually crypto will sort it out and push these scammers out of the industry.

Every coin is mooned to 7 or 8 cents, except ETN. Would like to understand how come a coin which has been in limelight for long time is not gone up much?  Any reason?

You know I been kind of market watching and just looked at the ETN charts and its a very valid question your asking. Though at the moment I do see a little slight market weekend correction happening, very short term one so I don't think that is the actual effect going on with ETN.

Issue I am seeing, and I coming probably more from a personal perspective about ETN at the moment by long term testing and still kind of sorting if this is something I want long term. The mobile miner situation is still a huge mess and I think that is the key area past all this talk of fork fixes for ASIC resistance that the team probably should be more focused on.

I just came from the ETN Twitter, I been waiting for my mobile miner to pay out 300 ETN now a month. Its chump change, not a concern for me personally but I am noticing I am not the only one still seeing this non payment issue. Its all over the Twitter heavy, and I am pretty sure serious investors are also seeing this. I see community guys bashing the people inquiring about this issue, basically the tone is well its only a few bucks, quit whining, which I haven't even posted but I kind of think that helps further put people off.

This is the only advice I can give this team about this issue, step up and get those people paid before more negativity spawns outwards. See I have also a mining farm, and I have been testing the mobile miner to see if it keeps working and so far it hasn't really at all. Mining ETN with my mining farm is not cost effective, to do this right now would be a leap in faith of hopes that it rises but if I can't see a mobile mining platform actually pay the mobile miners, then I wouldn't really feel wasting electricity on bigger hording schemes is going to be wise on this coin at the moment. So I kind of figure that may also be in the back of the minds of investors, I used to day trade and I did my research on every investment I made so I would guess most of those guys are seeing what is happening with payouts and user experience.

This is designed for that android app, but it doesn't work....plus they are pushing for IOS in this state so I hope by then they fix this problem. Granted many users did get pay, but its so random and I talked with a lot of people where it isn't working for them like myself. So I will probably avoid diving too much more into ETN personally. I do expect it to eventually rise, most people know of this coin and the concept if followed through with some fixes should in turn rise the price.

I work in crypto actually, been involved marketing for top tier coins for years but what usually made those coins go up, they took the time to fix all issues then market so the public eye isn't so on the negatives, right now its bad for business for competition to have ammunition against a coin. I still hold quite a bit of ETN because I mined on it with my GPUs early on, and I hold those because its just not a valid time to sell. If this coin fixes this user related madness then most likely it will turn around. The plain truth is, its meant to give users on mobile devices a way to mine and make a little coinage for paying services. But if you leave and app open for over a month and it doesn't pay, does make a user wonder if its worth the time. A month is a long time, kind of past holding that old trust factor

So honestly I think its as simple as that with the exchange prices. Once that user experience is adjusted and corrected, then probably more will hold and go in and buy volume. In the state of affairs right now, your basically buying into something that promises a service but its kind of hit and miss with that service working. This team works hard, I see it in videos but they have to finish the error fixing I believe to get the bigger investors to feel secure in mass adopting this more in their portfolios. So its really just reflective market prices of the moment, something that can change at any given moment per what the team does about it

Thank you. i feel like that kid that finally figured out why x is 2 if x+2=4 Grin By the way PIVX was one of the first coin i bought back in July, 2017 and am stilling holding it. Great coin too.

lol...don't feel bad, all honest all this cloud mining thing is new to me too, wish I figured it out 2 years ago when I first got into crypto lol...I been mining the old gpu/asic way since day one but this seems to boost on coins like this one pretty well.

I actually started professionally with marketing on PIVX, I used to run their social pages in the early days, left to pursue a few projects I had cooking right before you got in there I believe last year lol....think it was around June of 2017 when I moved on but I always been still apart of it just not so full time. Actually just went back over there, kind of inside the team waiting on some work with them. Great coin and team, Arionum too, kind of reminds me of the old days in crypto to do it without ICO's and all that junk, feels right here to me, fits what I used to love about crypto a lot

I will be lying if i said am still not confused.  I would really appreciate it, if someone could give me a detailed direction on how to switch to tmux. i understand that i have to restart putty and log back into my server. but i could plz use a detailed direction on how i switch to tmux. I apologize but i lack the technical flair, i was able to set up the current miner cos sflaherty gave me a really detailed instruction

Hey buddy, I just tried this out, I think its running lol...not completely sure but what I did was this. As soon as I got into my powershell, aka Putty for you which makes no difference. When your in the main area of your droplet, this is after you sign in with your password. Put the following that AltScope wrote earlier but I will break it a down a little for you:

sudo apt get install tmux
tmux

Now start your miner
 cd /arionum-java/arionum-miner
./run.sh

Use ctrl-b to exit out but it should still run
Then enter d
then you can close ssh and it'll keep running

To check on it
Login with your ssh root@ info and password
Then type in tmux attach

That seemed to keep mine running when i checked it, so it should work for you with Putty. I forgot to mention to you, on Discord I go by Frenchfry but I just changed my user name to sflaherty aka frenchfry if you need to DM me or ask questions. I work with PIVX actually and been stuck with the nickname frenchfry for a long time and totally forgot to change my username on discord till today. So you should be able to find me in there as sflaherty if you have issues or need help. Not a big deal, I am kind of learning this cpu mining with cloud services as I go as well

Thanks for that great direction. you made it really easy. anyway, i have everything running and am wondering if i can shut putty down or does it need to stay open in other for the miner to keep working.  i use the ref cod but also send me your ripple address if you have one and i will send you a few coins for helping me out. Thanks

Not really sure with PUTTY if its okay to shut down, I use Powershell but I have to leave mine up in order for it to keep mining. I might test with PUTTY soon but if you find out let me know, curious myself if maybe putty is a better option.

Its no problem helping out, I know I had to google like crazy on this stuff when I found this coin so I am glad to pass the info to you. Honestly the referral is plenty, leave it up to you about the Ripple. My address is rPdZTgARsdSji7PvVVSiQZMSztn5hiTmp but its really not necessary, only if your rich lol...just kidding.

You have any issues let me know, I am also on the discord a lot and the guys over there been really helpful, great little team on this coin.

Thank you, i will use your ref code when i sign up. I have one more question, how does the miner know what address to deposit the coin? am looking at th direction and it doesn't state that

I really appreciate you using the code, I plan to keep sticking on this coin so that will help a lot.

After you install all that I put in the guide and you hit that run code ./run.sh at the end, it will prompt you with a few questions of how many threads, that being 4 and if it will be on pool/solo....pool of course and then ask for your wallet address. That is the final step and then it will begin to mine and show you your hashes running

Hey, so i finally decided to mine thing coin. However, it will be my first time utilizing cloud mining. So can you guys plz tell me your fav platforms you currently use for mining this. Also, if someone has a ref code they want me to use, do list it and i will use it.

I been having good success with DigitalOcean actually for cloud mining Arionum. A few guys told me they got banned on their site for mining but I been running now over a week and I think the reason is due to how I set it up and maybe because I use smaller cpu "droplets" over there. I was testing and it appear if you do the 4 vCPU option in multiple "droplets" instead of their bigger 6 vCPU, seems to be more cost effective.

Here is a little tutorial I wrote for the guys unsure how to use this site or simply CPU mine this via cloud.

First head over to DigitalOcean, this is my referral code so anyone that uses it, my family thanks you, lol: https://m.do.co/c/4046e777c5ef

After signing up, click on the green CREATE button and choose CREATE DROPLET from the pull down menu. Example image:

NOW YOUR READY TO CREATE A VIRTUAL UBUNTU ENVIRONMENT

While in the create droplet section, choose the Ubuntu 16.04.4 x64 option, (I had issues with the 17.10 x64 version but 16 worked flawless) Example image:

Next, choose the 8gb 4 vCPU option in the Standard droplet section. Example image:

After you choose that, scroll down to the Data Center location option, choose the one closest to your physical location, then go to the bottom and either leave the droplet name as is or give it a name you can remember (I left mine the same, you don't tend to need this so much)

NOW JUST CLICK ON THE CREATE BUTTON, and your droplet will be created. Check the email you provided and you should get a temporary password for this droplet, you will need this to SSH into your linux environment.

NOW TO SSH INTO YOUR DROPLET AND INSTALL EVERYTHING TO MINE

Now you need to get either PUTTY or some variation of a SSH enabled program for your PC. I use Windows 10 so I opened mine up to allow SSH in the Settings menu and I use POWERSHELL in Admin mode to access my DigitalOcean droplet.

Once you have what you need to SSH into your droplet do the following from the command line:

Log in to your droplet via SSH and enter the following command

ssh root@ <--add your droplets IP address after @ (you can find this in your DigitalOcean account by looking in your Droplet section on the droplet you created)

Password
Enter the password you were given via email (you will not see this input so be careful about putting it in. Once its correct, press enter and you will then be asked to provide this again and then you can give it a password you can choose for yourself.

Relocate into the home directory
cd ~

Create a swap file
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=64M count=16
sudo mkswap /swapfile
sudo swapon /swapfile

Install dependencies
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev git zip

NOW WE CAN INSTALL PROGRAMMER DAN'S MINER (or any Arionum miner you choose, for our tutorial I will choose Dan's)

Follow these steps exactly -- No Skipping!

Install Maven, git, 64bit Java 8 JDK, make, gcc, and if necessary (older ubuntu usually), build-essentials.
Typical for cloud setups, enter this: sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk maven git gcc make build-essential -y

Clone this repository locally: git clone git://github.com/Programmerdan/arionum-java

Enter this in command line: cd arionum-java/arionum-miner

Enter: mvn clean package

Enter: chmod +x build-argon.sh (CRITICAL STEP)

Now Enter: ./build-argon.sh (CRITICAL STEP)

Run miner using: ./run.sh (this will use the locally built high-performance argon2i libraries automatically)

YOU SHOULD NOW BE MINING AND GET AROUND 11 H/s OR SO PER DROPLET

In theory if you just repeat these steps on each instance of droplets you want to expand to, should work fine, I am running many of them and so far so good with no issues with DigitalOcean. Just keep tabs on cost, you should get $10 credit from my referral link above to get you started which with one droplet that should get you running for about a week free.

Hope that helps, I had to compile a few tutorials myself to do this but works fine if you follow it step by step.

Furthermore, I find it very coincidental that I am also locked out of my account while some POS coins are having the same issues over there at Cryptopia right now. Maybe its because I raised so much hell and I kind of know from the inside what might be going on? I find it suspect that I can't login all the sudden during another wave of wallets having forked issues. Maybe I am paranoid but I worked over that Cryptopia issue with hundreds of tickets last time so maybe they seen I been using Bulwark a lot and had me silenced lol.

RE: Recent Bulwark Blockchain Attack (February 2nd)
Situation:
On Friday, February 2nd, 2018 there was an attempt to fork the Bulwark blockchain around block 57,599 via a public pool. There was a second fork that occured around block 58,930 and this time the attacker employed a private pool to carry out the fork attempt. During both attempts we worked closely with our major exchange partner, Cryptopia, to minimize risk to our community. At this time deposits and withdrawals at Cryptopia are disabled. This is a temporary, but extremely important, measure to avoid any double-spend attacks.

Analysis:
This attack began with a DDOS against our node seeders then proceeded with an attempt to fork the chain. We caught the initial attempt quickly, identified the pool the offending party utilized, and had them reindex. The blockchain re-consolidated after the initial attack, orphaning 30 blocks from the forked chain. The second attack took place via a private pool and we could not have the operator reindex their chain due to not knowing their identity. Since the attack the network has begun to adopt to the longest chain with the most hash power and BSOD, Umine, Masterhash, Poolr and PoolofD32th are all mining the same chain without orphans. The forked chain is still being mined by an unknown party, but has fallen significantly behind the main chain in blocks and hashpower.

Response:
We are working to release updated Windows, Linux, and Mac wallets to address this issue. This will be a mandatory update. We are also evaluating more significant measures to undertake if we continue to face malicious actors.

What you can do:
Please be prepared for a wallet update and plan to update your desktop wallets and any Masternode / VPS servers that you are operating. If you are worried that your desktop wallet, or Masternode, might be on the wrong chain you can use the getinfo and getblockhash commands in your console or cli wallets to compare your current block height and hash to any of our major pool partners.

Man that is eerie you just posted that lol. I was typing my thing about Cryptopia causing forks on one of the projects I market for. I wouldn't hold Bulwark accountable on this man, I think Cryptopia is pulling the same stunt they did on Visio where they staked the exchange wallet, you can't do that. They told us the same exact thing, a DDOS caused it but we found out later it was staking thanks to digging deeper into the network statistics. We had the same outcome as well over at Visio, their fork at Cryptopia effected our wallet but our dev didn't have to update it oddly, he just had to get Cryptopia off the chain and then the wallets recovered fine for users which also helped us pinpoint the real issue. Yea, I think this exchange needs some serious looking into, some shadiness is forming

I hope the dev or team sees this post, I wanted to reach you guys because what you have going on with Cryptopia, exactly the same ordeal the coin Visio I worked with had going on with them. Cryptopia is notorious for trying to stake coins while hosting the node for users. On some POS coins that is fine if they have code to work with for it, but I am no dev so I have no clue what needs to be put in place.

Long story short, on Visio...Cryptopia forked their coin due to their own actions and kept forking it. What ended up happening is we paid to be listed and got on there for a few months but they refused to listen to our dev and they ended up delisting us and a few others for the exact same reasons back in November. This totally derailed that coin, sent us down from the highs we had to struggling ever since because at the end of the day, Cryptopia put a stigma on them when it was literally not the coins issue but their mishandling of the wallet. I am not saying that is what is going on right now with this, but I find it funny I inquired about an issue recently on another coin and here we go again with a few having the same problems that happened back in November.

I would be careful with this exchange, I actually just got locked out of my account over there at Cryptopia, they aren't sending email verification for login and I think this is the complete end of me with that one, I market for cryptos and I got to try to stare projects away from their mess so I don't have these head aches.

Far as the users here, I would give Cryptopia hell, I bet you this is less a Bulwark issue and more them over there in my experience. I have noticed though the Bulwark hashrate dropped a lot today on a few of the pools. I hope for this team its not this exchange making you guys look bad like I seen for the one I worked with, its hard to recover from when they cause you issues that is out of your hands. I would raise hell and not let up

lol okay any of you have an issue making a ticket at Stocks.Exchange? I just put one together and keep getting a 404 Error with it not taking my ticket? Got to be kidding me lol

Has happened to me before as your typing up your ticket copy it to the clipboard before submission so you can be ready to try again. Sad
Yea I tried that  @beanrod but it didn't take with the clipboard trick either, i just used that support email link at the bottom so I hope they get it. Its still never showed up so I guess I will just wait it out. Isn't scaring me too much, still mining in that BWK and I am sure all this stuff will end up short term issues that resolve itself.

If not, hey Stock.Exchange owes me lol...I got it all saved up with screenshots and all lol. I always do that with these kind of issues, just in case.

Hang in there everyone, I don't even work for this coin but I been side unofficially marketing it like i do for officially PIVX and few other cryptos I do work with. I am picky with cryptos but BULWARK is great, I think there is a solid future for these guys so I think with letting people know about it and these minor issues get resolved it will easily keep rising.

I guess we are still with issues on the exchanges? I actually blindly sent some BWK from my windows wallet to Stock.Exchange because I follow the Twitter and thought this was just a cryptopia issue, I guess I should have come in here because I am deep in the confirmations now on the BWK block explorer but like everyone lately is saying in here, I also have not gotten my coins on the other side.

I will join you guys in the ticket creation game on Stock.Exchange...I think everyone needs to do that just in case its an issue on their end.

Though I will say this, anyone upset with BWK be easy, I been following the situation and they really have been up front about this and engaged the exchanges about the fix as I would expect from a top tier team. I work in crypto actually and I seen these issues arise from the inside so normally that I tend to forget it can be a concern when it pops up on other users on other coins. Cryptopia, I have had a bad past with them with another coin, we had a similar situation where they ignored us about a fix and actually forked off our chain then further added more insult to injury on their end. I hope not the same again over here because it took a long time to get resolved but if we ticket the problems they have to fix it at some stage or another.

Support sucks in crypto, we not only need a blockchain to decentralize many areas but we need one for support in exchanges lol. Don't get me on about Yobit today lol. I got $150 over there just floating IN PROCESS for withdraw for over a month now lol. New tech got its headaches but we will see better days ahead.

Far as BWK is concerned, they done a great job, I think I been straight mining this for almost 2 months now? Can't remember its been a long time since I found this in crypto years but its done a lot for the family and they have been on point with any issues I have seen or questions I have needed to ask. This is just exchanges taking their time to sort out a sync probably or most likely just limited hands to fix the problem. I will get me ticket in and join the party for you guys. If I hear back, I will let you all know what is up because I am in it with you about Stocks.Exchange now lol

Hang in there, the block explorer shows me my balance is in the Stock.Exchange wallet so I am sure your funds are fine.

Interesting project, I joined and left a comment in the Telegram...figured I would slap my mining farm on this one and see how everything rolls for a week or so. Keep up the great work, we need crypto's like this around

Just checked for the heck of it, to get on with Coinmarketcap this coin needs to trade a minimum of 50K USD a day (24 Hour trading period), so it probably will be a must to get on other exchanges for that inclusion to happen for Ectam but the guys over at Coinmarketcap are willing to list when that day comes. They are pretty laid back about that stuff just have a few minor standards to contend with.

So if everyone backs this, trade your hearts out lol....all these things take time but I think this one is worth a hold by the numbers and the anti-instamine factor in it. I will sit on it through the POW phase myself, see what comes of this down the road. Best way to help, get proactive and put that community togetherness behind it, usually that is one of the biggest keys to boost a coin you get early in on.
