Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto.
by

Actually I don't think that cryptocurrencies will replace fiat money in the nearest future. There are still too many people who don't believe in crypto and don't know how to use them. What is more, government can't control crypto and that's why they don't really want it to develop as this way they will lose control over people finances.

Re: Possible market crash in the near future?
by

on 14/11/2021, 13:04:20 UTC
There are (as of  now) 14029 cryptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap.com.
A case has been made (repeatedly) for  the existence of a bubble in the cryptocurrency market.
Yeah, I understand cryptocurrencies are volatile, high risk investments. But, are you guys expecting a market crash anytime soon?
That's true that there is  a bubble on the crypto market especially in spheres such as NFTs, Meraverse, meme coins. What is more, there was a huge growth of Bitcoin and of almost all altcoins' price so I think that we should expect a correction soon. I bet that it will not be so long like it was after 2017, but still bear market must happen after this bull run.

Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

I don't think that scammers will cease their occupation as it can be very profitable I think. So we should be very careful when investing and investigate projects. I think that checkdot will be a good platform to get to know about different projects and decrease your losses, but still it can't  completely shield us from scams, as it will accumulate information picked up by people, so I think that it will not be very much information about unpopular and new projects.

I follow some bloggers on YouTube and Telegram that monitor all upcoming projects and share this information with subscribers.
Actually, there are some aggregators that give you information about new ICOs, airdrops, IDOs etc. For example, coinmarketcap or one more web-site where you can find all upcoming platforms for yield farming: https://rugdoc.io/calendar/

There are a lot of courses and lessons even on Youtube that you can watch for free. You should learn different indicators and make up your own strategy and of course practice. You should practise every day. Maybe you had better trade on demo-account first while you are studying, but don't make it too long and as soon as you understand such indicators as MACD and Moving average you can start.

Re: What do you think about CheckDot?

Hey guys.

What do you think of CheckDot?

After the news about the start of the public sale of tokens, I believe that the token may perform well in the future.

And by the way, I read today that in the future they will have the ability to provide rewards to users who will participate in the audit.

Therefore, I will follow their updates more closely so as not to miss interesting things. I heard that their token sale will start soon. Do you think this is a good project and is it worth considering for investment?

I think that this project is really worthy. I am also interested in it and it has a good marketing campaign as there are a lot of people that are aware of it and are talking about it. I would like to participate in audits and provide this web-site with information and my own investigations so as to get rewards and benefit crypto community.  Smiley

There are many bloggers who monitor all upcoming projects so you just should find some who you consider to be experienced and follow them. Also there are some aggregators that summons  all information about new projects and you can track them. For example, you can get to know about new presales on coinmarketcap and then try to do your own researches based on their web-sites and documents.

Re: DeFi Tokens
by

on 10/11/2021, 03:53:26 UTC
Hello guys, I'm on a low budget right now and looking for Tokens/Crypto that would be really good to invest on. Recently, I was looking for DeFi tokens and kept my eye on Fantom and SushiSwap. But right now, I think I can afford and buy more Fantom once the price got lower.

Do you still have other suggestions or ideas that you think might work on investing DeFi tokens? What are the good DeFi tokens that you think that would be profitable in the next few years?
I invest in few defi-projects but I think that they are really reliable and I can lock my money there for a long term. One project is Puncakeswap on Binance smart chain. I do yield farming in cake-bnb pair and get about 50% apys, what is more, I get additional money when both of these assets grow. Also I work on Polygon as it is cheap and I invest there in Quick swap and Sushi swap.

Re: Web 3.0 vs Metaverse
by

Metaverse and Web 3 will change the ways we are working on the internet. We will interact with web-sites and information in completely other ways than we do now. We will be able to tokenize everything I think. It means that we can digitalize property, information, and the sell it or transfer through blockchain, so the development of Metaverse will also benefit blockchain.

I think that Metaverse will be adopted by more and more projects and companies such as online-retailers, social media and games. One example is Facebook that stated that it was going to develop metaverse. Blockchains will be widely used in concept of Metaverse, so don't miss hype and invest in NFT-projects and projects that are connected with this sphere such as Sandbox and decentraland.

I am studying now, and actually, I am getting a very demanded profession.I will become a programmer. I don't want to work as a programmer of web-sites or apps, but I am ambitious to become a blockchain developer and I hope I will start working on my own project with the team of other enthusiasts, so it looks like I am going to run my own business.

Re: Will governments capitulate and finally recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender?
by

I see that countries mostly with weak economy are adopting Bitcoin now as their national currency is subject to hyperinflation while Bitcoin seems to be more secure. As for developed countries, I don't think that they will accept crypto as a national currency in the nearest future as authorities certainly don't want to lose control over finances.

A good sign for me is when the project encourages its community and developers to work on the development of the project. For example, NEAR has Launched $800 Million Grant Program. The allocated funds are being used for grants for the ecosystem, for a regional fund and startups. A bit earlier Proximity Labs Company aimed at the development of the NEAR ecosystem had announced the creation of a DAO in the amount of $350 million, intended for projects, organizations and individuals creating DeFi applications on the NEAR blockchain.

Re: Bitcoin(Cryptocurrencies) is a social movement?
by

Do you consider Bitcoin(or cryptocurrencies) in general a social movement? If you consider so, social movements need a formal organization to support the movement. Is there a formal organization behind Bitcoin?
Your vision of Bitcoin is a bit weird. There are a lot of crypto enthusiasts from different spheres such as mining, blockchain development, just trading, but not all people want to share that they work with crypto. There are big communities that unite people with the same passion for blockchain, but I don't think that it is a social movement. What would be our goal if it was so?

I don't think that authorities will let crypto replace traditional financial system. They may start banning withdrawing crypto, centralised exchanges, everything that they can close as they don't want to lose control over finances. Anyway, I am sure that crypto will become more and more expensive within time so earlier we start invest, the more will get in the long-term.

Re: About the future value of non circulating coins: Collectable as real old coins?
by
sgenuine
on 08/11/2021, 14:37:47 UTC
May some day this noncirculating coins in my wallet be worth anything? May them have a future collectable value as happens with real old coins?
I think that coins that have already fell so significantly, are not likely to return to previous levels. They were abandoned not only by investors, but maybe by developers as well, so I think that coins that have lost their value will not worth something again. Trends mean a lot, and if there are no investors who are willing to buy, it will not grow again any more.

Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan
by
sgenuine
on 07/11/2021, 05:50:41 UTC
What's your current plan?
As far as my plans are concerned, I have my capital divided into to parts: a bigger part is intended for mainstream currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, BNB, Matic, DOT. I don't sell currencies from this part, I only buy more and more every month and I am going to hold at least 5 years for a new bull run in the future. Another part of money I invest in new risky altcoins that can give big profit in the short period of time.

Actually, Bitcoin also has had a big growth from July, but now Altcoin season is going on so altcoins are likely to be more active than Bitcoin. What is more, the bigger market cap is, the more difficult it is to raise the price, so it is harder to pump bitcoin than low market cap altcoins. So altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin. In case of bear market, people get rid of altcoins first as they are considered to be more risky.

Re: Stalking ETH 2.0
by
sgenuine
on 07/11/2021, 05:40:35 UTC

Better staking cake coin, I think more profitable than Eth 2.0. If you want to participate in Eth 2.0, it is better to wait for the Ethereum coin to experience a correction first, currently the price of Eth is still fairly high. It's not yet time to put your funds on Eth this time. I am confident that the eth 2.0 project will bring a very big update later. Analyze to find out when is the right time to store this coin.
I do yield farming in Cake-BNB pair and it really gives big APYs (around 50%) so I also consider cakes to be more profitable. What is more, transaction fees are very low on Binance Smart Chain compared to Ethereum.
Staking Ethereum means that until it launches your money will be locked so you will not be able to invest is something more profitable as chance offers.

Re: There are many online jobs out there. Crypto Opportunity.

Some people are just too lazy and don't want to learn something new. Crypto industry gives a lot of opportunity to everybody: if you are good at computers, you can consider mining. If you like charts, you can trade. If you don't have a capital at all, you can participate in things that are free and can bring money such as airdrops and ambassador programs. So any man who wants work can find work.
