Re: 1050 TI Best Budget GPU or Bust? 8x GPU Rig Build w/ Nvidia 1050 TI -ZEC ZEN ZCL

Personally the 1070 TI are my favorites, followed by 1080 TI for density, but best bang for buck seemed to be the 3gbs esp because last month you could still get them 180-220 I got most of mine @ 200 or below

Why are you only getting 250 Sols? I get 305 without OC on my EVGA SSC 1060 3GB, on my ROG STRIX 1060 6GB, 340 Sol/s?
I see you are using EVGA ones but could be brand or I got lucky on cards? No clue, anyway thanks and have a nice day, I will show my new rig once I build it with 1060 3gbs.

We hit a stable ~180 sols if you watch the video and paid ~$175 for the card w/ a solid sol/w efficiency @ his elec rate of .12c kwh
Low quality but its all i've got he has the rig lol

Aha, now things are looking a bit better for the 1050Ti, I didn't notice 180 Sol/s but nice.
I still think for now, the quickest ROI card is 1060 3gb that can ROI itself and the base rig.
1080Ti/1070Ti if you wanna save space and $/pcie but still.
Building many 1060 3gb will sure be something I plan to do since the profitability on it is very nice.
Also Hush was booming lately, I remember hearing you say you were mining it, for me I mined 200 Hush the past few months and the price rise really pushed me forward.
What do you think?

 I did some research, the conclusion is 1050Tis are absolutely the worst.. Sorry... Here's my graph on Equihash mining Hush.
I also tried to price match to see the actual difference.
Please note, these calculations are based on my electricty prices and local card prices (0.15$ kW/hour)

Each card :
| GPU     | Price   | Sol/s | $/Day | Break even |
| 1080ti  | 957$  | 720   | 9.77$  | 105 Days   |
| 1070ti  | 652$  | 515   | 6.97$  | 100 Days   |
| 1060-6 | 395$  | 340   | 4.60$  | 93 Days    |
| 1060-3 | 297$  | 305   | 3.97$  | 79 Days    |
| 1050ti  | 218$  | 144   | 1.87$  | 128 Days   |

Price match :
| GPU         | Price   | Sol/s  | $/Day  | Profit after 4 months |
| 2x1080ti  | 1950$ | 1440  | 19.54$ | 472$  |
| 3x1070ti  | 1956$ | 1545  | 20.91$ | 636$  |
| 5x1060-6 | 1975$ | 1700  | 23$      | 877$  |
| 7x1060-3 | 2079$ | 2135  | 27.79$ | 1366$ |
| 9x1050ti  | 1962$ | 1296  | 16.83$ | 124$  |

There will be maintenence (dashboard update) in about 5-10 minutes.
It will take another 5-10 minutes to finish.

Edit: Update complete.

v3031 dahsboard  update changelog:

login: added captcha
login: added 2 factor authentication in user settings
payments: fixed payment deposit fee system (external exchange api problem and few other exceptions)
payments: fixed many deposits with strange status. Becasue of this bug some of you got free extra cash but i am aware and OK with this
payments: added links to block explorer transactions in deposit history
payments: account banning for users that don't pay service fee
dashboard: rised limit in number of viewed values in claymore tooltip
OS image: new single OS image with many improvments for motherboards (note. you can't mix AMD and NVIDIA in one rig ofcourse)

I tried to register but it gives me a white page, I tried a few times and now I got blocked for an hour? Any idea why?

@Sampey
Good day Sampey!
I have a few ideas to quickly re-sell, do you have Skype by any chance? It is way easier for me to talk there and explain my ideas.
Anyway, I can PM if you'd like, thanks.

Re: [OS] rxOC easy-to-use Linux AMD Mining v0012

You can try running nvOC and then adding AMD driver for your 380x... but the automated setting of power and OC is effective on NVidia, but not on AMD right now.

(Under Linux. Under Windows, AMD tweaking works better. It's a function of the drivers available, so no good solution for Linux, right now. I think that's part of why rxOC gets less attention - until drivers make tweaking more possible, there's not as much demand for rxOC.)

Thing is I don't know how to add AMD drivers, I tried to follow a video but the terminal in nvOC is Nvidia miner :/ Any ideas?

@shade123 - rxOC only has video drivers for AMD cards. @FullZero has a separate build/project called nvOC with NVIDIA drivers.

nvOC is actually much better developed:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1854250.0

I read about it but I only have one rig and I have an AMD R9 380X and GTX 1070...
I wanted to download factoryOC which is another OS/build that works for both AMD and Nvidia but I only have 32 GB of space and the main problem is his the factoryOC download links are not working idk why...

Those are not miner errors and are not GPU errors.

Those are network errors.

Are you on WiFI? Try wired, instead.

From your mining rig, try pointing Firefox at a web site that tests the quality of your internet connection.

@MentalNomad

Hey man thanks for replying, I'm using wired internet that is running at 40 Mbps/sec , I solved it by re-installing rxOC and trying a pool I haven't tried before, anyway, I have now another issue LOL, I just got a GTX 1070 and I wanna put it on my mining rig which is running rxOC and R9 380x but I only have a 32gb USB for my rig, I saw ocFACTORY which works for both but I only have 32 gb space Sad

@FullZero

My motherboard is Gigabyte G1.Sniper B7 running rxOC with R9 380X at 17.8Mh/s non OC if you wanna add it to the list, I'm trying to get that GPU (R9 390X) and a GTX 1070 to work but I only have a 32GB USB and I cannot find anything that works except your rxOC... Do you have any idea? :/ Thank you!

@fullzero
Hey man, I know this is kinda stupid and I'm sure I'm missing something, but I've searched and cannot find a solution, this occurs on both miners Genoil and Claymore, any thoughts?
Genoil :
Claymore : https://i.imgur.com/QIXKhxG.jpg
Genoil 1 : https://i.imgur.com/QmjFWjn.jpg
Genoil 2 : https://i.imgur.com/csX5vKq.jpg

Any help is appreciated! Thank you and have a nice day Smiley
Edit note : I tried a few different pools and they're all the same...
