If your X3 got a lot of errors, 5-10%, try remove all the hash boards and test it one by one to find the bad hash board. Update v.1.14 will throttle the speed down if your hash boards is not up to task so you have to find the bad one or it will only hash at 40GH.

Did you order from minersource or blackarrow? Since minersource is also busy shipping orders even after they promise refunds..

Order it directly from BA. 1 unit run well without problem, the other one is crapping out now and then.

They said they put me on refund queue but yesterday 2 X3 show up without warning. Cost $250 for customs clearance. Wish they warn me first so I can get cheaper tax rate at customs. Hope this units won't blow up like others.

Bought a x3 early Dec before the price hike. Wait 3 days for the payment address, nothing happen. Open a  ticket and got reply immediately with BTC address. Transfer the BTC, took another 3 days and a ticket before my order status changed to "Processed".

Moral of the story? Open a ticket Cheesy

I though this was suppose to give old customers, that stick with BitFury till the end, a chance to fill their kits. So why not give us a better chance to break even?

At $999 means BTC need to be around 2000$ now for it to make sense since old customers most likely will purchase with BTC.

What kind of money are we talking about here to join the swarm? 1k, 10k, 100k? Not just as member but to take full advantage of the design in form of working hashing hardware.

Thanks.

looking to place an order for x3, but have a few questions that werent clear from the website if someone can help:

1) if i pay with bitcoin, how do they calculate the btc/usd rate? is it mtgox or btc-e?
2) it says in the faq if pay 50% you get 15% discount, if you pay 100% you get 30% discount. But the website only has 15% discount, how do you get the 30% discount if pay full?

thanks

1. BTC-E + 2%, its depressing.
2. You can't anymore, the discount decrease gradually from late Oct.

Hi Dave,

Should I say goodbye to the possibility to fill 28 empty slots on my M-boards? Please let me know so I can allocate the funds I've prepared to buy more H-Boards for others hardware.

Thanks.

Re: BITBURNER FURY Technical discussion

Now I also have a problem with one Bitburner Fury out of a stack of 4. It's the only board lacking a Micro USB connector (broken). And its not hashing anymore (It did before). LED is blinking green and yellow, but never red. The other boards are delivering 50Ghs.

As it didn't work at all (tried restarting, power cycling, other order of connecting it to the CAN) I flashed the boards with a Pickit3. My first try with the firmware BitBurnerFury_for_bootloader.hex was not successful, the board didn't blink at all after programming it. In my second try, I used BitBurnerFury_for_production.hex and it worked out. Now the board is blinking again, but still not mining. I know that the other three boards all have BitBurnerFury_for_bootloader.hex.

What could be the problem?

- That the firmware of the board without connector is different?
- How can that be solved?
- Is there other firmware that can be flashed with the Pickit3 than the production firmware?

The first hint leading to solve the problem will be awarded 30$ worth of Bitcoin.

Have you try compile and use someone42 cgminer?

We don't offer escrow.

Highest bid so far 8x1.7 BTC

No need to put in lower bids.
So 8x2 BTC without Escrow...(-;

Do your research before purchase.
They have sold hundreds of boards and no one complain about not receiving it. Warranty on the other  hand...
I'll buy more if the price about 1.5 BTC.

If your new board design isn't quite right, could you please at least consider shipping some trays of chips while you get your in house design debugged?

Chips are currently sold out. Even the next batch of chips is sold out. We already have the boards with chips on them. There's no debugging involved, just overheat issues. I'm thinking of maybe putting them up on the site with massive warning labels as there seems to be tons of interest Smiley

Yes, lets do this Cheesy

If your new board is the same as US v2.2 H-Board then I'll buy some without any heatsink now. No need to wait 3 weeks since they only need enough cooling to run and I already got some heatsink leftover from my US Oct Kit.
