Might be a basic question, but I have around 50MH that I want to dedicate to the test network for RC4 when its up.
How do I go about setting up a wallet for testnet - do I just download the RC4 binaries when available and put something in my conf file to say its testnet=1?

I retrieved all of the privatekeys from the new wallet (which is the mac version that I sent the 10000 on and had the original transaction error on). Then went into Windows, downloaded the blockchain per the instructions, installed the old wallet. replaced all of the appdata with the old blockchain. imported privatekeys, the wallets come up in the 'receive coins' list. Still no balance. It is still updating from the blockchain... do I have to wait until it has updated to see the balance? The instructions say the balance should be there as soon as cinnicoinqt is reopened.

The transaction has 0 confirmations. The funds have been subtracted from my balance though. Where are the coins???

I just followed these instructions and managed to import the privatekeys, however my balance still has not included the lost 10000 Cinni. Any ideas why this might be?
Is there a link to the OLD version of the Windows wallet? The mega link doesn't work and the other one goes to the cinni forum and requires you to login in with an account in order to get the direct link.

Thanks, but those instructions are for the new windows wallet with coin control. I am using the newest mac version, which doesn't have coin control implemented. What then?

No, that top address is Mintpal.
Cinni looks interesting, but what worries me at this point isn't the whales - it's all the small fry who've been hammered and burned and are desperate to cut their losses - people ready to bail, sell and dump themselves at first sign of a serious uptick.
Maybe, but I think a lot of those people also feel that this could go much higher than 35K. The long-term prospects for this coin are fantastic, this is finally a clean, well distributed POS coin.
