[ANN] DigitalNode [XDT] - PoW/PoS, Masternodes, Untraceable encrypted messaging
by

on 14/12/2024, 10:10:08 UTC

DigitalNode pioneered blockchain locking rewards but never fulfilled its original promise to utilize staking to secure the network, UNTIL NOW.
We are excited to announce long-awaited Proof-of-Stake functionality via our innovative PoW + PoS hybrid system!  The old blockchain lock-reward system has evolved into full Proof-of-Stake, while still allowing for Proof-of-Work mining.

DigitalNode is resistant to the 51% attacks that plague other cryptocurrencies.  We have taken a proactive approach versus 51% attacks since they are no longer just hypothetical in today's environment.
The network deploys multiple layers of security to achieve this.  First, the very nature of a PoW + PoS currency implies that an attacker must not only have 51% of the hash rate but they must also have 51% of the total amount of coins to be able to attempt an attack.
This alone is very unlikely, but we have gone a step further by incorporating VRX v3.0.  VRX v3.0 is a difficulty retargeting algorithm and system designed to keep PoW and PoS balanced, among other things.
This system ensures that neither block type can overpower the other and both miners and stakers can benefit the blockchain equally, eliminating either as a potential 51% attack vector.
Lastly, the new wallet verifies the entire incoming block before ever storing it to your disk, checking the stake difficulty and other parameters to make sure that a 51% attack is impossible.
VRX v3.0 also deploys a velocity constraint system to ensure a narrow window around the desired block target (while still allowing for some variance) essentially eliminating timestamp attacks.

Additionally, we are welcoming user-run Masternodes to the network! Masternodes incentivize network cooperation, strengthen chain security and also upgrade the network to allow instant transactions.
The collateral required to operate a Masternode is 2,000,000 XDT (more technical information is available in the resource section).

The DigitalNode blockchain is lightweight and mobile-ready.  This will allow for features like a mobile encrypted messenger and mobile wallet, among other innovations.
Adaptive block sizes also help to govern the maximum allowable block size based off of network usage. This allows for seamless adaptability of the blockchain system to handle any kind of network load and environment.

I would like a free hand out as well but unfortunately I'm not a wellfare head like you who demands money from the public.  Get a job you can make $15 in like half an hour.
These people are funny and they need to go somewhere with this BS.  Is there a way that they can be kicked and the threads like this can be locked?  I agree with another member that it seems like they are trying to run a scam here, maybe trust scam?

What is sparkprofit about anyway??  Ive never heard of it
I have taken sparkprofit before as collateral, however another member was correct in that, you have to have 30.00 in order to withdraw from your account.  I do not know much about the site itself, but it seems that you can make some easy money, small amounts, but easy.  Check it out for yourself. https://sparkprofit.com/

I am interested in making a bid, but I have a few questions?  The site is currently operational?  What do I need to do to transfer the site to myself if I win?  What do I need to do once the site is mine, is there something I need to set up, or what do I need to change to run the site.

I am interested, but how can You guarantee that you will not take the account back or how can we switch ownership of the account so that I can then benefit from the account if I would win the bid?  Please let me know about this.

Re: Transaction fees
by

Hey guys, wanted to know whether there is any point in considering a transaction fee to decide which transaction to mine?

If you're asking whether you can pick which transaction to include in a block you mine based on what the fee is per kB, the answer is yes and that is why low TX fee transaction wont get confirmed fast, normally.
Sorry I am new to understanding this.  How can you pick a transaction to choose to mine based on the fee?  How many transactions are in one block?  Can you solo mine one block picking all the transactions so that you will get the full reward?

Re: How can I do trading?
by

Before you do trading, I would recommend that you first learn how to properly trade.  This is similar to stock, but it is not the same thing.  You need to know what moves the market and why and the signs that would make stock move is not the same as making a coin such as Bitcoin move.

What options have you tried yet?  I would personally try to use faucets if you already tried the signature campaign thing.  I find that faucets are fun, but you can not open to many in one browser or you will get locked up.  I have 15 opened at one time and was earning good, but it was a pain in the ass.

Re: Can i mine my own bitcoin?
by
shanerc563
on 28/04/2016, 17:56:43 UTC
of coarse you can mine your own BTC.  The question is what do you have to invest in order to mine profitably.  Mining is difficult and there its a large upfront investment in order for you to be profitable in what you are mining.  Do some research before you start.

I have to back these other comments, it does not seem like it would be worth it to mine your own bitcoin.  The hardness is up there and you need a bunch of equipment to be able to compete with any of the larger miners.  Just my opinion.
