Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price?
by

best thing is to split your capital into few coins / tokens as you can afford, while some ICO's can give you a very good profit, most ICO tokens are starting to trade even under the ICO value, sometimes for months or it never pass the ICO value.

It's always good to stick to top coins on the market including BTC and Ethereum, they always gives you profit on the long run.

Re: Short term investing Bearish/Bullish

Anyone who's interested in one type of market will eventually fail, you have to make plans for both types of markets.

There are times we can make quick profit from Bullish market and we must take those opportunities by staying up to date about market conditions, and also we have to study the long term analysis done by researchers about the future of the market, not just referring one source, but from many sources and use that to our advantage too.

Re: what can you buy with bitcoin?
by

I've heard rumors you can buy gold, property and even sports cars directly with bitcoins. Obviously there are loads of scammers these days, does anyone know of any such legitimate companies and what products you can currently buy?

You should check out this topic too -
5 things you didn’t know you could buy with bitcoin.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4391588.0

Microsoft accepts Bitcoin. You can "redeem" Bitcoin on your Microsoft account and make purchases through the online Microsoft store. They are the Biggest retailer that I know of that accepts Bitcoin. Other large retailers are Newegg and Overstock. In Japan, Bic Camera is a large retailer and you can use Bitcoin to purchase items in all of their stores. That was pretty cool. These are huge legitimate businesses.

This is new to my knowledge, It's a good direction towards bitcoin, a well known company like Microsoft accepting them, the day Amazon also start fully accepting bitcoin, the value for this and the popularity will increase dramatically.

Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment?
by
shanewolff
on 01/06/2018, 13:57:41 UTC
Bitcoin is risky indeed, mainly because it's on an Online wallet and it's open to cyber attacks, but when using a hardware wallet it minimizes the risk, In my country safest places to keep your money is government banks, they have a guarentee, it's a small interest but it's the safest one in here, and there are threasury bills and Bonds, that we can invest short term and long term, they also guarentee our return, it's a bit more interest than savings account.

But the problem in my country is many people put their money in the private sector, Fixed deposits, that pay a 2-3% more than government banks pay, and throught history many times they got scammed by them, and very recently another company went down. So there's that risk getting involve in scams for the difference of few percentage.

but when we use a hardware wallet not only we can minimize the risk, or may be completely safe from it, and also have great profit with market prices.

Re: HODL or REGRET!!!

Everyone does that more than once in their investment life, a token/ coin / share we think will have a potential having no potential at all and forever stay in a price lower than we brought and another one we thought of having no potential sometimes goes into record breaking percentage profit.

That's why it's always good idea to always have multiple investments, if it's crypto market, multiple coins, with at least few from top 10 from coinmarket, because they always give profit, short term and long term.

Re: Bittrex launches the first phase of US dollar.

That's a good direction, a crypto exchange starting trading Fiat, a good direction for the future of Crypto currency, Bittrex being one of the top crypto exchangers and taking a step, a risky step if I may say, will affect the whole market within next few days.

we'll have to wait and see within few days the market changes will show the effects of the decision.

Re: Isn't crazy how much does bitcoin exchange earn?
by
shanewolff
on 01/06/2018, 06:57:44 UTC
Well that is how exchanges live and survive and earn money. But not all exchanges have a high success rate. Exchanges spend  huge of amount promoting their website and have paid a number of people to be known and to gather more clients. Without clients exchange will bound to fail. I remember the exchange live.megacrypton, it disappeared from the web since only a few users are trading.

Aside from the huge income, the exchanges also make sure that all coins in their site is moving and so they create transaction flows which sometimes are risky and cause them to loss a significant amount of btc.

This is the truth, Only few exchanges are truly successful and other are actually running on loss considering the amount they invest on Advertising and paid for influencers to attract more people. and yes, while some are like that, some are making a fortune out of that.

Well, Coinbase made $1 billion in revenue in 2017.  Shocked

>>>Source : https://www.investopedia.com/news/coinbase-made-over-1b-revenue-last-year-report/

Coinbase has more brokerage accounts, over 13 million, than the trading giant Charles Schwab.  Shocked

Kraken, reportedly added around 50,000 new users in a day at the end of 2017. The volume handled by these exchanges are

WOW, this is remarkable, There are it's befits by being one of the first and most secured wallets which offers trading platform too.

Re: More and more Scam projects
by
shanewolff
on 31/05/2018, 18:43:16 UTC
There are projects that goes unsuccessful and there are projects that truly is scams, but it's our job to not to get backward by them and keep going. 1 or 2 campaigns turn into scam doesn't mean all of them are , there are hugely successful ICO's are there. and many bounty campaigns that paid hunters.

All you can do is move forward and keep participating, sometimes it's hearbreak, when our hardwork is not paid, and sometimes when a payment comes it's a great feeling. and when the price goes above ICO or made us good profit. we can actually cover the losses. a well done bounty can cover few loss bounties, so keep doing them.

Re: What altcoin would you prefer to be paid in?

So it doesn't matter what coins is it as long as it's available to be exchanged to bitcoin or to usd. But It would be best if it's in top 10 in the https://coinmarketcap.com/ so I can directly hold it for a long term, well this is just according to my opinion and own interest.

I agree with this, and that's the strategy I follow too. When ever I have to enough to buy a coin that I consider worth holding long term I check the coinmarketcap and choose one from the top 10 or 15 there is.

and also recently there's a interest among the community for NEO (NE5) based tokens too, as they hold a good potential in the next few years, So trying out some of them too.

Re: Bounty Earnings
by
shanewolff
on 28/05/2018, 05:13:59 UTC
Well normally people don't like to disclose their earnings, specially online earnings, There is huge possibility there are many that earn 1K per month. If you're a Legendary member here it's easily done just for posting 10-25 posts per week, at the end of bounty mostly it's over 3k-5k for them.

Social medias pay low, but you can do 10-15 campaigns at ones and even got 100$ from each, you can go somewhere.

Unfortunately my country cannot participate on translation although it's one of the highest paying ones, but can do article and youtube videos, have seen bounties that paid over 1K per article sometimes, so if you can write quality articles, here's an opportunity.

Re: Do you think that other coins move faster?
by
shanewolff
on 26/05/2018, 01:45:19 UTC
in some projects yeah, but those type of tokens are very rare actually, we  can see hundreds of new coins / tokens release every month, but many of them do not move at all and they are traded even less than ICO price for months. among them there are tokens that catch the eye of the community and move a bit faster than others.

Community and the developers both have their parts, some tokens community is fully active in buying and selling, and most are trying to hold and make long term profit when they feel it's a great project and sometimes the marketing strategies of developers team is impressive and they attract more crowd toward that.

Re: Is this right time to re-enter into Bitcoin?
by

on 25/05/2018, 03:59:01 UTC
This is a very rare opportunity as I see it. because this may be the last time to buy under 8000$ and now market is already recovering, most alt coins showing Green and BTC is up a little too, if you are going to buy this is the best chance to buy at this value.

Re: Hello traders

Many people get into trading just because others do it and without any actual knowledge about it , or proper training and then lose their money, that's we always hear the same numbers, 97% of the traders lose and only 3% succeed from it.

When you get into anything, not just trading anything new, you have to know the background of it and a proper knowledge, willing to learn and keep learning, if you can do that, you actually can become a successful trader, Learn from every source you can and do a lot of demo trading to build confidence and keep winning.

Re: Is trading actually worth it?
by
shanewolff
on 24/05/2018, 02:16:17 UTC
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?
Sure we can, with enough practice , patience , keep learning and also with luck factor, we can make some money, but it's bit of gambling too, but the odds are better than gambling.

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?
yes, there are traders that made, and still making millions, we can find stories about them just surfing bit google,  So it's true, but to make that their investment and previous losses are also considerable.

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.

in a bull market we can always make money just for holding long enough, but even with that there are day traders that still make average monthly salary from one day trading..

It all comes to keep trying, and keep learning until one is fully confidence.

Re: Guys, just hold.. We can agree on a few things.

on 24/05/2018, 02:05:15 UTC

If the majority of us were looking at the same chart and a general direction of the market, guess who will see that, and take advantage when opportunity awaits. It's the seasoned vets. They've been there, done that. The finance guys shorting the markets for a living. We could argue speculation, math and politics all day long, but, what's been done has been done. None of us have crystal balls. One instrument we access to is past history. We can see that they are real numbers. But they are in the past for everyone else to see..

This is true, but the thing is some traders are better than others to make "Predictions" according to what happened on the past, because sometimes/ most of the times there are patterns and they follow them and most people do not get to see the pattern. but by studying past charts they see that and make the right decisions based on them, so for a trader past is extremely important as I see, we cannot neglect the past when it comes to the market.

not saying it completely depend on the past, but most of the times they follow very very close patterns.

Re: Is worth buying coins under $1?
by
shanewolff
on 19/05/2018, 02:15:43 UTC
Most of the time it's depend on the total supply of coins , if it's under 100 Million under 1$ is really good price. means it has a potential of going over 1$, making over 10% from any coin/token is a good ROI.
