The atleast need to take that damn maintenance mode off the website and write a formal apology, also there plain for getting the money back. It would gain a little more respect possibly.

I myself am not taking a side to screw coinex.pw or help them as of right now.

Just want to say a couple things: 1) Nobody will ever insure a crypto coin exchange, thats throwing money away. 2) Coinex was repeatedly warned about their troll chat box and hackers ability to inject code through the chat box and access mysql database, but chose to ignore and continue 3) I've never seen such a bullshit operation such as coinex, people cry about Cryptsy, but Crypsty is always there, unhacked. Everytime I was on coinex, I'd see numerous people bitching about support issues not being resolved, deposits not coming through, transfers taking forever, coins stuck in limbo, etc... Yet people say Cryptsy is slow. Hey, at least that shit works and hasnt been hacked.

I seen one comment a while back in this thread, someone saying 'us adults'... you do realize coinex was run by a couple kids, right? It dont matter if you're adults, the people controlling your money barely have pubes on their nuts. Get a clue.

This has all been a hilarious scenario, all the posts, etc... Thanks for the entertainment! lol

It depends on what sql method the used with there chat box and if it was in the same database that store the rest of the info.

Don't mean to sound like a dick but, "if you fail to plan, plan to fail". If you going to start a business and take other peoples money you need to have a business plan, and cash flow projections so investors know what your using the funds for and what kind of profits they can expect to see.

Which I do here is what I was going to give investor when I got on crypto-stock:

By owning shares on this project it will allow you to earn 10% of my profits. Depending on how much profits I make in a time period will be how often I will pay dividends. Own stock for this site will also allow you to vote own new development for the site for example picking the coin for the next pool I add.

Whats is infinti-pool.tk right now?
As of march 2014 it is a ctm pool that has been only up for about 3 weeks. With one ths hash of mining power we find around 26-30 blocks a day.

What will it become?
Hopefully the more people who mine on this pool will allow me to add other coins pool and maybe even an exchange depending on the profit I make, so I will be able to host other pools. Right know I am working on trying to using mpos to have multiple coins on one pool.

Where will dividends come from?
The dividends will come from the mining fees and the transaction fess of the pools.

How can you help?
Its simple mine. The more miner we have the more blocks we find, the more income everyone gets.

Following the exponential growth of fraudulent securities, Crypto-stock has realized that requiring an email as sole verification requirement could be subject to prosecution as it would amount to criminal gross negligence.
Under the guidance of the Bitcoin Foundation, it was suggested that a more draconian verification procedure should be put in place. It is now required to provide extensive proofs of ones' identity so as to protect investors and avoid jurisdictional repercussions.

Minutes of meeting between the foundation and Cryptostock representative: "All investors, whether large institutions or private individuals, should have access to certain basic facts about an investment prior to buying it, and so long as they hold it. To achieve this, Cryptostock will now require crypto-based companies to disclose meaningful financial and other information to the public. This will provide a common pool of knowledge for all investors to use to judge for themselves whether to buy, sell, or hold a particular security. Only through the steady flow of timely, comprehensive, and accurate information can people make sound investment decisions.

The result of this information flow will be far more active, efficient, and transparent crypto market that facilitates the capital formation so important to our community's economy. To insure that this objective is always being met, Cryptostock will continually work with all major market participants, including especially the investors in the securities markets, to listen to their concerns and to learn from their experience.

We are confident that the community will profit from the introduction of such long-overdue regulatory system."

So you saying they wont let me post a project if I don't provide them info about financial for the company/website. What if I purely run my business off crypto-currencey's which I do. The user should ultimately decide if it looks safe too invest in.

Can't say I do, but they should post the cost to list a security instead of people wasting time.

Yea. Thanks for the help. I guess I need to find a better way to grow my pool. its a ctm pool so its kind of hard to do right now.

I went to register my Security with them, but how easy it was to get listed on the site made me not want to be listed there. I have a feeling there are a ton of scam listings and I do not want to be on a exchange with that kinda crap. So I never listed but the prices is like 1000 LTC 1BTC or 10000000DVC

Ok o well I guess thats not happen for me. I am not trying to scam anyone, I just need so start up money for me pool and I am having a hard time getting user mining on my pool. Do you know of any other sites that let you list bitcoin securities that doesn't cost much or just takes the fee out of what you earn.

Doubtful, they seem to care about one thing.... that 1BTC registration fee

Where do you see that at one point i did get a reply before I gotten the domain name email and they didn't mention that. All they said was once I get the domain email the would allow me to post a project. Thats steep if you they make you pay that fee.

Did you email them from the domain email? Like yourname@yourdomain.com?

Yup. I email them with both a gmail and the domain name email.

Could it be because I have a .tk domain that dont like me?

>I trust Erundock and CaptainFuture.

I don't trust ANYONE with my money, that's why I use bitcoin. A server could be the most updated secure box in the world, and it doesn't matter if the people can't be trusted. The entire model of currency exchange with master keyholders has to die, and Open Transactions has to kill it.

I like the idea of an open exchange with no keyholder, that is an excellent idea!    Kind of like craigslist for altcoins Tongue

How would that work? And don't compare anything to craigslist if your trying to make it look good.

It is called distributed exchange. The implementation is still experimental but when it matures there would not be any need to trust people... ever.

If bitcoin is possible then distributed exchange should also be possible at least for cryptocoins.

Also it is possible to have ultimate security, that ultimate security is called bitcoin. Before the emergence of bitcoin it was not possible.
Because of that ultimate security bitcoin looks like almost outworld technology.

Yea i didn't mean a craigslist... I meant a coinex with craigslist with nobody controlling it ^_^  How to implement... hmm that is the hard part.   I'm sure we can do it.

I like the idea of that, so its like p2pool correct?

I just had to post after watching stupid post after stupid post of people who do not understand security.  I am going to put it from the point of view as a web developer, which is what I am.  If you want a perfectly secure computer, go buy one, then never take it out of the box or power it up.  That is the only secure system.

A web application such as Coinex can be as secure as possible, however, it is running on a server that has an operating system.  How often do you get updates for security issues?  Just remember all those updates have to be checked out and unfortunately when one update gets put out, it can open up another security flaw.  I don't know how the theft occurred, but I will say this, there are several possibilities including a hack attack on the server, then some sort of a program installed on the server and that can collect up all the admin user names and passwords that it wants then it just a matter of a hacker logging into the system and taking what they want.  The hard part is hacking into the server.

I trust Erundock and CaptainFuture.  They have always made sure that any transfers that didn't happen, were made to happen.  Yes I had to follow the appropriate steps to file a ticket but I have never had a ticket go for more than a week.  It takes alot to run a web server.  If you have never done it, then shut up until you have spent a few years doing it.  If you have never coded, shut up until you do it for a few years.  If you want all your money safe and sound, you will never find a place in this world that is safe.  I call some of you the 7/11 generation, always wanting things instantly and not happy if you don't get it immediately.  Well, web servers are not 7/11 and it takes time to read through all the system event logs and other logs and figure out what happened.  It seems to me that they are trying to not just piece together what happened but how to prevent it in the future.  With only a few people, you need to give them time.  Get off your damn high horse and relax.  You try reading server logs for 8 hours then be forced to read more for another 8 hours.  It gets ver tiring.

Once again, my point is that nothing in this world is 100% secure.  Including Atomic-Trade.  The two errors that crop up that are shown, sorry, but they throw some serious red flags because with errors in packet inspection and time stamps, I think it might be easy for someone to spoof the system.  I await an 3rd party security check of their system, complete with hack attempts then post the results.  I bet they won't because it will find flaws.

Just chill out and let people do their job and give them some time.  I had almost 42M CTM and a million Moon...so I am in this as well.

+1 for the understanding of computers, I get what your saying but what pisses me of is instead of contact us asap they said it was maintenance, , after 2 days they came out with the problem. Either the hacker knew what he was doing and hit the server while they were doing maintenance or its an inside job.

At this point it hard to tell.

Put yourselves in their shoes.

But I wouldn't have done what they've done.

It's not like running the exchange didn't take a lot of time, effort, and money.

For which they were handsomely rewarded.

Plus, do you guys know how much it cost the owner to get his FINCEN MSB license?

What's the license number?

...if CoinEX wants to be a business it needs to learn some business skills.  EVERYONE should have had an email in their inbox the moment a security issue was noticed which required the site to be offline, not a friggin tweet.  Then follow-ups should have happened regularly, with expectations set in the previous msg's.  If not you lose customers, plain and simple.

edit: not to mention losing credibility and allowing FUD to run wild.

This is what I'm saying. WHY THE HELL WAS THERE NOT SO MUCH AS EVEN AN EMAIL SENT TO USERS?!?!?! Wow.  I had a lot of various coins just stored on your site that I didn't think of touching due to trusting you all.  Now all the sudden I have to find all this out by trying to log into your site and following a twitter link?

Again, if you guys make good on refunding all the stolen coins that are due to their customers, I will support you going forward.  But if you're just going to pack up and leave and let people bleed out their ass, then the hell with you all...you're as bad as the supposed 'hackers,' if they even existed.  Would like to see some blockchain proof of these hacks as well.

The burden of proof is all on YOU guys, not us customers.  You are the ones running the business, and we're the ones paying you to use it.

I agree emails need to be sent out. I own a small pool with only 10-15 user and I email them where ever In feel its important. Like when I saw this I knew some of them used coinex as a ctm wallet so I email all my users and told them about it

So again, please calm down. We are not doing a runner.

The only way i can see to restore this is to sell more shares at cryptostocks to cover the losses *and to hire a professional security audit team to prevent this from happening again*.
Long story short, we're covering this from our own pockets again.

Thanks

I only had 1.02BTC and still had 140k doge in trade selling for 0.00000133 BTC or something like that when you turned off the server on the 16th is every1 who still had coins in the wallet safe or what its ok saying calm down I am worried to hell thats all I had it was only still there because I was waiting for the last of the doge to sell bso I could withdraw the BTC in 1 go now I have nothing  Sad

Holy shit I am sorry you lost a lot of money thankfully I only had 0.008 btc, 50000 ctm and 256 doge but still not good.
