Check this:

HELIUM BLOCKCHAIN ALLIANCE - Robert Longden IBM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=13&v=3WszfphlmZA

Check this web too: http://cobieblockchain.com/

May they never tell you again that this is smoke and waste Wink

This is completely misleading - the logo for Helium Blockchain Alliance is not associated with Robert Longden's presentation (starting at 8:33) but rather the previous presenter's discussion (name unidentified).  Longden's presentation is clearly about the Hyperledger Fabric and the importance of that to the construction industry.

The Helium Alliance logo appears to be just a paid sponsor logo for the event which is an extremely common and acceptable business practice (along side of the Hyperledger logo).

I sincerely appreciate RzeroD taking the time to document that the Helium Alliance in fact presented nothing to the industry at this event other than a sponsor logo and actually promoted the importance of Hyperledger to the construction industry.

The slide in that video is from the presentation found here: http://cobieblockchain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017//07/03-cobie-blockchain4.pdf

In that presentation there is a slide that says:

• Blockchain software will be based on Hyperledger
Composer
• Linux Foundation & IBM influenced
• Cross industry specification and requirements will be
coordinated through Helium Alliance

Then the next presenter is Robert Longden from Hyperledger.

Funny that he didn't see the need tell everyone that they actually weren't working together...

Hi All,

Just to clarify why we are adding ETH to the ICO, and why that is important:

1. We are discussing with partners for the ICO, these partners need to get paid. If we pay them in MNE this will create an incentive for them to sell MNE and therefore it will be bad for the MNE ecosystem as lots of MNE will be in few hands.

2. While Minereum launch was an isolated announcement on bitcointalk, Artemine will be much bigger than that, and with bigger audience we need to facilitate the way people can join, for new comers ETH is the option in (all) ICOs.

3. By adding ETH it doesn't mean at all that it's bad for MNE, for the contrary:

First, there is more likely wood for new people to join Artemine, and new people that know about Artemine will also know about Minereum for the first time.

And second, All received MNEs will be burned in any case, so the more MNE join Artemine, the less supply there will be in Minereum which is good for the ecosystem.

4. In Artemine, we are allowing users to put their Genesis Addresses for Sale (Automatically), that means, if you are a MNE holder you will have the option to create one (or more) Artemine Addresses, and if you convert your MNE into ART, you will not only get ART but you will also get access to this new market we are trying to create.

About the conversion of Genesis Addresses:

- Users will be able get Artemine by participating with MNE, this includes Genesis Address Holders. They will be able to send the (available) coins from their address and convert into Artemine.

I hope it clarifies, we know it's not easy to please everyone but after the long discussions we had in our team this is what was decided.

So what will the exchange rate be for purchasing ART with MNE?

From the whitepaper it says, "For example assuming the exchange rate between ETH and ART is 1 to 1000, users
contributing 1 ETH will get 1000 ART in their Genesis Address. This amount will then be
automatically mined for X amount of years. (The same applies for MNE contributions)"

Does that mean 1 MNE is also worth 1000 ART Huh? The way it's worded makes it seem that way, that's a big deal if so. It would be much better to buy MNE for ART than to use ETH in that case.

I believe a price hasn't been set yet. That was just an example

Yes, but his question is if 1 MNE will give you the same amount of ART as 1 ETH. While it could be interpreted that way, based on the wording, I think you can safely assume that is not what is meant. A better way to word what they meant would be something like this: For example, Depending on the value/price of the coins, the amount of ART received will vary. At the current prices 1 ETH will get you 300 ART while 1 MNE will get you 1 ART since Minereum is currently worth 300 times less than ETH.

Obviously since ETH is valued so much higher than MNE, it will always be the case that ETH will get you more ART than MNE. However, I think we all agree that it would better if using MNE also came with an incentive, even a small one. For example, every 100 MNE used to swap for ART, you will be rewarded 20 extra ART. Or if you took the actual dollar amounts. For every 1 dollar spent using ETH you receive 1 ART but for every 1 dollar spent using MNE you get 2 ART.

Oh dear god. This is a terrible announcement for this coin. The dev just screwed us hard.
I was holding on for dear life hoping that the trend would reverse, then the dev just comes and hammers the final nail in the coffin.
This is 100% a scam coin.

Dude. GTFO of Minereum and this thread. I'm tired of reading your posts.

when the lottery will start? is still everythinbg under develoment? thanks

I think you are not following this thread there are so many active services like token creation dapp which made easy for everybody to create their own token. Faucet is already start working so lottery is next step stay tuned for further news.
yes i did follow but not everydays , i did look at the first tokens creations look great to me but i dont think it is fair to pay just one MNE tokens to create  a project , this is good way to loose value on MNE  and make lot scam project with just 1 token pay service...it should be at least  300 MNE for this service, that was bad steps from dev...

Dev launched a 0.1 alpha version to prove a working concept. I think the 1 MNE price was set so that people would actually try it and see if it works. Dev's voodoo ETH token server broke down a couple of times already ever since the service was launched and the whole process still isn't really customer friendly so I think 1 MNE is a fair price to pay ATM. Once dev has the whole customer experience part nailed and has mastered advanced mentamagical space voodoo with regards to the token creation service they might up the fee a bit.

so you means this service it will cost more soon  the alpha version will be full? Hope it will cost more, this price will make so make scam project to me!

Well I'm not part of the dev team so I don't know. Just meant to say that you can't charge a lot for something that doesn't really work that well. If that leads you to think this is a scam: read back. And above all, there's nothing that keeps you from paying 300MNE for the service if it makes you feel better. Hell, someone already paid 666 MNE for it...

you can do the same thing for $0.01 worth of eth (to pay for the transaction to go through).

heres how! 1. download metamask here to interact with smart contracts online: https://metamask.io/

2. go to this site: https://tokenfactory.surge.sh/#/tokensearch

3. make your coin

4. laugh at the shills trying to get you to spend $8 a coin so they can dump their crapcoin on you

Wow, you have really put some time into bringing some FUD to this project. Brand new account and comments on every thread you can find. Great job.

It is a bad idea, scammers will steal your ETH   Huh
Yup. I sent two ETH transactions to it. Both disappeared before I could even check the balance. I'm disappointed but I should have expected this.

The people will make bots and will steal ETH,This is a very bad idea  Huh

I don't really understand the full scope of what someone can do with smart contracts, but it would seem to me you could send some ETH with a smart contract that only allowed it to be used for gas when MNE was being sent to a certain address.

I Believe Minereum’s Future is Bright

When many of us first became supporters of Minereum we were taking a gamble. To many of us there were almost as many reasons to view Minereum as a scamcoin as there were to believe it was legitimate. With the release of the first version of the token creation service and continued developer engagement in the Bitcoin Talk thread, our concerns have largely been put at bay. The developers continue to follow through on promises, the first service has come to fruition. The smart contract self-mining process is working flawlessly and the price continues to climb at a steady rate (despite the Llamas, I mean whales in the sea).

Since the developers have followed through every step along the way and presumably have a stake in the project, we can be sure they are going to continue making the Minereum project great. They aren’t only keeping their promises, they are going above and beyond. For these reasons I think it is clear that not only will they follow through on their future promises, but also in the logical next steps of the project (which by the way, I would argue have been subtly promised through various means). Here are some imminent things we have to look forward to. They are on the horizon, we can practically see and touch them. Feel free to add more.

- ERC 23 Token Creation Service: The next generation of smart contract tokens (BTC Talk Announcement).
- Minereum World App (beta version): A way to gamify crypto and bring it to the world (BTC Talk Announcement).
- A nicer and simpler UI for the Token Creation Service. 2.0 (2.0 is implied by the fact that the first version was called 1.0)?
- A service to integrate the slow-release “self-mining” smart contract concept into created tokens, (in the road map).
- A marketing plan to showcase these services. (Side-note, the service isn’t complete yet, why market a half-baked product (also in the road map))?
- An updated White Paper, Road Map and website. This is a logical next step in the project and will probably be released all at the same time. Hence the wait as
these are three significant updates to be released all at once (not mentioned, but a necessity to be legitimate, and besides the developers have a history of not
acknowledging things that are about to come out).
- New exchanges. As the project continues to take shape and gain traction, exchanges are going to want to have Minereum listed. Exchanges don’t want to list
crappy coins as it tarnishes their reputation. Think about the exchanges that listed MNE first even though it had anonymous developers and a lack of a real world
use-case - do they have a great reputation? Patience guys, as Minereum continues to prove itself bigger exchanges will list (BTC Talk Announcement and this is
  just how it goes).

The developers have been diligently working, they have done great work so far and they have given so many hints about what is in the pipe-line. If you can’t read that list and recognize the bright future of Minereum, then you may need to take your investments elsewhere. We are at the point of needing to be patient, but also to build up the community the best we can. Gilboa has down a great job at this (creating promo videos and giveaways, I think he made a signature a while back before the developers released theirs). Follow his lead or PM him and ask him for some ideas he has for Minereum, but that he doesn’t have time to work on.

Finally, stop asking patronizing questions. Of course the developers have a plan for marketing, of course they are doing everything they can to make the exchange happen, of course they know the website is a stock site anyone can use (they did make it after all). In due time you will be able to make some money on Minereum, but stop being so impatient. Stupid questions and patronizing comments only detract from the project and slow down it’s progress. The first part of being a strong community is getting behind our developers, viewing them as leaders and allowing them to do just that. So let’s do that. Also, stop shilling everywhere and making the project look so cheap. Remember that string of SCAM posts a few pages back? That was the result of some shilling and petty argument in the Bittrex slack channel, we don’t need that kind of negative attention.

I believe the future of Minereum is bright, but we need to be patient, support and trust our developers and strive to be innovative on our own. Let’s bring attention to Minereum, but not by shouting MINEREUM!, but by actually demonstrating how the token’s services benefit the world. Once we can do this, people will flock to Minereum.

update

Hi All,

We updated our Minereum App Paper with the latest information:

http://files.minereum.com/minereumworldapp.pdf

We will aim to deliver the first version still this year.

Thanks for the update. I have a couple questions about the Token Creation Service.

As you mention upon release it is version 1.0.

You have already said in the next version, users will also be able to make erc23 tokens.

Obviously you have more ideas in mind. Would you be able to elaborate on what you have in store for the service or post a road map specifically for the token creation service?

Thanks!

I've decided to try a different method but is the Token Creation Service being manually done
because it's been stuck on 'In progress' on the list for some time now.

Also in the Generate Token window, I asked if the Amount to send is 0 or should it equal to
the tokensupply? Sorry I'm trying to learn this but also help other that aren't familiar with
this process.

I think the whole point is to have it automated Cheesy. But considering dev paid for everything until now already without ever asking for a single satoshi maybe he also rented a sweatshop Cheesy.

But no, its all new and clunky so maybe you did something wrong. If it stays like this PM dev with all the info. I messed up before while testing the service and I got an almost immediate reply.

You won't have to change anything in that window. I'll try and make a more detailed walkthrough (screenshots or a video) somewhere in the next few days. Its really quite simple but as I said before: Ethereum isn't a consumer friendly platform.

This. Good stuff. Thanks for speaking some sense into the thread.

Hurrah! I have minted my first token! ONYX. Anybody want some?  Grin

I agree this service is much more valuable than 1 MNE, but it is also good to have it this cheap to allow people to try it. I am looking forward to see all the marketing the Dev team is working on!

Switzerland eh? I was a couple time zones off with my guess.

Great work Dev!

Introducing...

MINEREUM TOKEN CREATION SERVICE 1.0

The Token Creation Service is now live and allows anyone to create a fully compatible ERC20 Ethereum Token with just a minereum transaction.

Before using the service please take note of the following:

1. Always check this post before making a transaction to the service and follow its steps, the MNE price is dynamic and can be changed,
only transactions with the value >= the current price will be valid.
2. This is the first basic experimental version released to the public, our team will monitor it and will release updates if required.
3. DO NOT send transactions to the service from exchanges. You will not be able to Setup your token, transactions should be sent from an address that you have full control.
4. Any Minereum, Ether, or any other Token sent to the Service Address will be automatically destroyed and cannot be recovered.
5. All tokens generated by the service are 18 decimals

Current Price: 1 MNE
Token Creation Service Address: 0x41fAfB65B1514Ce1177287A567002f8978d98205

To Generate your Token, follow these steps:

1. Send 1 MNE (or higher) to the address 0x41fAfB65B1514Ce1177287A567002f8978d98205
(The Address you send the transaction from will be the only address that will be able to configure the Token, make sure you have control over it)
3. After few seconds you will see your transaction in the website http://tokenservice.minereum.com/
4. The transaction will be processed shortly, when all is done the status will be "Done" and your Token Address will be visible in the "Contract Address" Column

After this, you are in full control of your Token.

Source Code: https://pastebin.com/CD6Jas4A
Interface/ABI: https://pastebin.com/vfaret2t

Next steps are:

1. Add your Token to your Ethereum Wallet or simply use http://myetherwallet.com to interact with it

2. After you are able to Interact with the Contract, call the function SetupToken and set your Token Name, Token Symbol and Supply
2.1 Only the Address that submitted the Minereum Transaction will be able to use this function
2.2 This function can only be used once, so make sure the parameters you enter are correct
2.3 The Total Supply will be attributed to the Address that submitted the Minereum Transaction

3. Refresh your wallet and you will see your address with your Token balance

4. If you need to add the Custom Token to your wallet use the following settings:
- Token Address: [YourTokenAddress] (from http://tokenservice.minereum.com/)
- Token Symbol: [YourTokenSymbol] (The one used in the setup)
- Token Decimals: 18

5. You will automatically have a block explorer available on http://etherscan.io:
https://etherscan.io/token/[YourTokenAddress]

We will update this post along the way with more useful info, including screenshots for all steps to be more clear.

Awesome Dev. To clarify, is this 1 for 1? So 1 MNE for a quantity 1 custom token? Or can someone deploy a custom token with any quantity of tokens, like 500, 1000, 10,000 etc.

It's time to buckle-up.

A few weeks back the Dev said the service would be released mid-June at the latest.

Last Friday the Dev said the service would be released in a few days.

Two Days ago the Dev told Coin Telegraph the service would be released THIS week.

We are in for a ride for the next few days. Either this project will be driven into the ground or we will be off to the moon!

I believe in Minereum. Let's go.

Dear Minereum, Could you please show us some sort of proof you are working on a Token creation service? Not that I don't believe you. It's just your new Avatar is a cropped low resolution IMG that quite simply looks terrible. I just would have thought such a simple aspect of your campaign would be a little better.....

Sure sounds like you don't believe. In any case based on the devs past posts, the only proof you will get is when it is released.
