by

on 09/05/2024, 14:51:15 UTC
Hello

If I delete the app, and reinstall it, and restore
my wallet, will the transactions history will be shown?

I know tx history can be searched on the blockchain.
My question is specific to the tx shown on the app.

What worse case scenario given then fact I have only 14$ on this wallet and of course not intend to deposit anymore funds to that wallet
Just forget that wallet and how did you ever gave that seed phrase of yours to that person? Don't do the same mistake in the nearest future as we're about to get into the bull run.

This is the hard part when the market is like this, the scammers are also aggressive and taking advantage of someone's greediness.

Don't be greedy, maybe telling us the whole story on how you ended up giving it to that guy. I'm guessing that this is related to airdrop or recovery or anything that you have encountered with a problem.

It's not about greed.
I made a mistake and bought Retik Tokens in presell which result that I probably won't see nothing from it, on the other hand I know someone who can do something and get my eth back(eth which I bought these tokens with),for that matter he need the control (with my wallet secret phrase).

I know it sound extrmely scammy but ,worse case is he will get the crappy retik tokens(currently hadn't been claimed yet...and plus 14$)...

On the other hand , if it not a scam like I can get my eth back...he asked me to move all my assets from my wallet before getting control of it. He was honest on that thing

Hello @tabas and thank you for helping

I mentioned this guy email on my orginal post.
I did that so if anyone knows it, they will recognize it ans it will proove it was a scam.

I did a mistake!

This guy might see I mentioned his email and label it a potenial scam before it was prooven beyond a doubt

I might be harm as a result of this so I edited my post, and remove his email BUT on your reply, you quoted my post and now his email is shown.

Can you delete your post please , so that his email won't be shown please

Thank you
I don't have to delete my post. I have already edited and removed the email if you think that it will harm you that he'll know that you've been asking here. But one thing is for sure just like what we're telling you that you're likely to get scammed again by that guy. Are you thinking that you're the only one that he's talking to and this thread here is made by the person he's trying to scam? Why fear that it will labelled as a potential scam for which you already knew that he's trying to scam you?

Thank you , if it'll be a scam I will post his email

can't ,they only will send it to the wallet address I gave them because they refund me after a failed payment and can only do so by sending the refund to the address which sent the failed payment

If it might risk any wallet , I will install metamask and move my funds there

Why don't you just create a new wallet and create a "contract call" there? You will avoid the cost of sending your funds from one wallet to another.

Question is how deep a smart contract call might go? wallet level/app level/my entire device level???

As far as I know, smart contracts can only work at the level of the wallet on which they are executed. But still, if you're not sure what you're doing, it's better not to risk it. What kind of token do you actually want to receive? Is it an airdrop or something like that?

I know, I have BNB funds for that matter
The idea I have in smart contract call is that if you are using trust wallet and you want to send coin from your trust wallet to another wallet, you will need some BNB coin to use as a transaction fee. Because without the smart contract fee you can't be able to send coin from that wallet to any the exchange. I have tried this severally yet it didn't work out due to low Smart contract call /balance.

This is what I know about Smart contract. Check the message below. At the end part of the message.

If I will create a new wallet on my Trust wallet app,
then move my funds from my old wallet to the new wallet and accept the contract call on my old wallet, will the new wallet can be at risk somehow? or this smart contact script can only affect the wallet which got it?

If it might risk any wallet , I will install metamask and move my funds there

That's so unusual, its not that money can't be sent via contract call, but using Trust wallet you don't need it, it is designed to send and receive assets without any complexities like contract call, besides if you don't know what's programmed in the contract call you are vulnerable to attacks. That person might use a contract call to steal funds from your wallet, so use an empty wallet instead. And on the first hand try not to use contract calls.

I think you don't know what a smart contract call is, it's like a digital agreement that automatically gets executed when some specific conditions are met, SC can execute transactions also, so you should think before accepting any. I suggest using empty TW so no funds would be lost. Is this guy near to you I mean do you know him?

After I payed and confirmed as a holder (by wallet connected on retik.com), I found this token is probably a scam
This is a strike one and you have already learned from this but, I'm sorry about your loss shem.

The guy asked for a fee (100$) which I payed...
filled the form and at the same day a guy identifyed as blockchain support , sent me an email (from a gmail account    xxx@gmail.com    ) , asked me (like the previous guy said) for several questions to proof I payed for retik tokens and after 1 day ,
Strike two, someone who claims to help you and then asks for a fee definitely is a big no. And sadly, you've said that you paid for it, another loss from you.  Undecided

said it matches and I will be able to get a refund.

Now this guy askimg me for a fee (~ 280$) and after I pay that fee he say "we complete the process and inform you on the refund date and after 12-24hrs you will be payed with the refund.

Is that possible or am I being scammed here?
I sent an email to.blockchain.com asking them for validation of that guy (xxx@gmail.com) but still wait for their reply

The guy (on the telegram) told me that this guy use gmail and not blockchain.com email, because he is support agent

Am I being scammed?
Is it even possible to get a "refund" after you purchased these tokens?
It's a cycle that they're trying to do to you. First, you won't get any refund from investing into that token so just accept the loss and move on. But instead of doing that, you thought that these folks will refund you and you fall for them as they've seen you vulnerable and gullible. You're getting scammed likely again and please don't pay them anymore money.

Token refund scam?
by

on 17/02/2024, 07:26:50 UTC
Hello

I need to know am I being scammed?(twice)

I had purchased tokens via a still ongoing presell (stage 9) of retik.com

After I payed and confirmed as a holder (by wallet connected on retik.com), I found this token is probably a scam

I visited this company telegram, and there I got a DM from someone who also told me he regrate and reffer me to another guy who told me he can fill a form to a "blockchain.com node" with my wallet address,tx hash of my paid tokens, and my email and they will comeback to me and after they will validate I am indeed payed for these tokens, they will refund me...

All sounded very weird but I was convinced eventualley...

The guy asked for a fee (100$) which I payed...
filled the form and at the same day a guy identifyed as blockchain support , sent me an email (from a gmail account    michaelemmerofficial@gmail.com    ) , asked me (like the previous guy said) for several questions to proof I payed for retik tokens and after 1 day , said it matches and I will be able to get a refund.
